Okay, so I think Frisk is in phase 3 because in the prequel comic, Aster talks about being able to open up a gap to parallel worlds with his machine, though it’d require shrinking three monster souls into a singularity and for that to happen, there needs to be a “strongest soul presence” for the other two to attach during the process, so with that having been done, Frisk from Undertale (and seemingly also on a genocide route) comes through the portal and fights you.

Alright, first things first. this is an Interesting Swap AU. Papyrus feels like... well papyrus, sans seems like his gloomy self, yet the roles are still swapped. like... a middle point between Inverted Fate and TS!UnderSwap. second off, instead of say, having the river person we get Aster? dope stuff! nice to see something not generic. and when phase 3 hit, I thought they were fusing or doing the whole "Somebody absorbs Determination and becomes One Left sans" thing. instead, unlike the rest of the people here who can't seem to put their braincells to analyze the 3rd phase I can. I've made a conclusion as too what it was, maybe right. maybe wrong. what I believe happened is they opened a sort of... Time Rift, if you will. a tear in reality that allowed Undertale's Chara to slip through, and with them seemingly having either Higher LV or Determination than this AU's human, they won. seemingly, anyway.

I've rewatched it and I still don't understand what's Frisk even doing here and why they instantly proceed to fight us with no good reason for it? Or is that "new" Chara design for your underswap take?
I think I know why do we fight frisk. Basically we fight as papyrus I guess, because the machine isn't behind frisk, but a bright light. Second theory is that frisk have been separated from chara body with the help of aster and the machine and we're fighting against the true evil in phase 3. A dumb theory but still.. XD
