    Recreational and Commercial fishing in S.E. Alaska intercepts over 50% of Washington origin Fall Chinook Salmon. Ports like Sitka grow rich off Washington Kings. It is time Sitka lays off our Kings.

      @@neillee3793 Alaska's major Chinook runs are depressed, and fisheries has made closures to avoid them. Where are they fishing, business as usual? S.E., because they know those fish aren't Alaska stocks. Soon those, too, will he gone. Salmon Management should be coastal, with each entity involved. Go ahead and keep on wiping out Columbia River stocks. Soon, none of us will be fishing Chinook.

      @@williamcooke6056 Alaska is doing more than Oregon and Washington combined to manage the salmon fishery for perpetuity - period!
