Well clearly people need to figure out how to play her in worst character mode, the best matches I had with her felt like when playing Jack-o, where you get going and the thing just goes snowballing, just in ABA's casa is about being able to keep the Moroha bar always ready.
All these comments downplaying Aba like she didn’t just release lol I think she’s extremely solid, out of rage she’s mediocre at best but managing rage can make her an absolute monster since she has some of the best data during rage; just needs time for people to get used to it
@@jebs1020 Sure, and then she’s the best in rage lol She’s technically the most balanced middle-tier character in the game which doesn’t automatically make her bad People only focus on her negatives and ignore her strengths especially for a character who just released
yeah, it looks like these high-level players aren't using Frenzy and Astonishment much and they also don't seem to be too concerned about letting jealous rage run out completely either. In fairness F&A having 7 frames of startup means it won't generally work on wakeup, but I imagine it'd be a solid option post-wallbreak at least and it'd definitely be a good callout against a wakeup reversal. As for the meter management I feel like someone will figure out a combo route that leaves room for her to end Rage with C&S during a juggle (probably with a RRC) and then re-enter it with B&D to build back some Jealousy.
Going from Accent Core to current GGST I have come to realize how similar to AC+R Anji became, ofc there's the stuff strive added and the myriad of stuff it took away (Wild Assault is just Force Breaks but worse cuz they aren't personalized)
Something tells me that A.B.A. will be our next Asuka in what viability refers to. Due to how difficult she is to master due to her focus in resource management, everyone will doubt where her placement in the tier-list should be the first months, but just like the Gear Maker, I bet that in a matter of time there should be a pro player good enough to master her resource management to the point that she's rarely in a losing position and sky-rocket her into the tops of the tier list, just like Gobou did with Asuka. Her Jealous Rage mode is insanely good and has a lot of privileges, and while Normal Mode is all the opposite, I think that she really has the potential to abuse her better stance to the point of being in Jealous Rage almost all the round , she just needs an incredibly good player to make it posible.
I do agree that she's going to be top 10 best in the game but comparing her to Asuka is just a tad bit over the limit dude, Asuka is just a new breed of BS OP character
Only in Normal Mode, Jealous Rage Mode should be able to turn the match in your favor, giving how much speed (same as Chipp) and range she gets, she even has the door super to help against zoners too.
Parry a projectile or two, then go into Jealous Rage and run them down. Also use your super to keep them in check if you have meter, it lets you safely run up/slide in
Anji is just really good into top tier characters and horrible into everyone else, it’s pretty hilarious (idk it ABA is top tier or not, but she has potential definitely)
it has a large gap (20 frames) between the first an second hit, which you can attack through if you block the first hit. The armour wears off after the first hit, so youre free to attack as long as you block it. edit: I spread misinformation, because of the guard crush you actually cannot mash through if you block it. the best counterplay seems to just be block it and wait for aba to no longer be in range
@@a_shrxydud its okay but yeah move always been op even in old games it's like that cause her suppers in all games she been in been bad on block and she don't have super jealous mode that gaurd break here either. Her DP is good move to build risk with and her wild assault into guard break good setup to end game with just be careful u space right to get input off on knockdown and enjoy the power u hold.

- “rip you hit my guard point”
- “no YOU hit MY guardpoint”
Friendly reminder that a lot of people thought happy chaos was bad when he first released :)

"out of rage she's mediocre"... That's an understatement, she is by far the worse character in guilty when in her base form.

She's the *BEST* character in the game when she's jealous and the *WORST* when she's not...
So she’s Phoenix Wright
She's like umbrella from sg2e when hubgern hungers She is worst character but when its not umbrella one of the best characters
dumb comment
Right next to eddieless zato
Yeah that's how balancing works
We're not going to see the best from A.B.A. just yet. Give it a week or two so people can really get a feel for her and her husband lol.
I hope to see more A.B.A. that can fight well in her first form, especially well executed meter building parries.

One day I hope we can smack these fools with Sou, it's such a great move I wish we had it in strive

ABA feels pretty straightforward. Big hitboxes busted alt form. Work on gettin that form.
She is supposed to be a more difficult character than Chipp according to the game's website, Chipp has 3 stars and A.B.A 2 stars
We love Danzai
Aba really needs help..., she struggles so much against zoners
She's supposed to be, though? Characters can have weaknesses.

sorry not everyone can be ramlethal. some characters have weaknesses.
It's the same deal as in Accent Core +R. A.B.A literally has a 9:1 MU in favor of Justice. At least they kept her mostly faithful
Consider ABA Jealous rage has a time limit and Anji has so much parry moves, ABA would have bad win rate against Anji...
Aba players obviously have to practice before we can see any actual improvements but I think this matchup will always stay bad for her idk

hopefully some new strats come out to help aba 😢🙏🙏🙏
Aba def has potential to be top 10, first dlc character besides those men to be good at launch.
why yall sleeping on her dp spam in jealous move is op and beat all walk ups and walk up super just raw dp

anji is brooooken
What does that damn key have that I don't have? Length?
being a key
Lore wise, literally just shaped like a key
Unless you can turn yourself into a giant and bigger key them you're no one to her
she's obsessed with keys, king, that's where you gotta start
