  • In this video, I will show you how to diagnose a HVAC A/C and heater fan/blower motor In A 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe I will also show you how to test the resistance on your fan motor and resistor for the proper range of the resistance. You will also see me check for 12 volt DC power coming into the resistor and leaving the resistor. This video is to help my viewer to fix it themselves and to help instill confidence in one's own ability to do so.

    Thanks for the video. My 2010 Suburban had two 7/32 bolts holding the motor up with some air intake part in addition to the blower housing. It also had a tab that had to be bent up and then it rotated like yours. I got 12v or so coming to the motor and I plugged the motor into an m12 battery and it spun so I put it all back together and it works now. No burned wires or bad looking terminals. Must be loose connections or something. Next time I'll just thump it a little...

    Ive replaced bloqer motor, resistor, fuses and ckntrol panwl, still cant get mine to come on

    Can you help me diagnose an issue with mine . Blower motor comes on and off randomly . Still blows very cold when it decides to turn on

      ​@fixitjohn sorry to ask but what wire/problem did you fix in this video my suburban is making thr exact same noise that your car made when you turn the ac on, I'm assuming it's the same problem with mine. I just didn't catch the part that your replaced!
