I would much rather watch someone who has no idea how to cook on a Skottle and learn from his mistakes or successes then watch a professional chef cook something in 3 minutes bragging about how great the thing is. I love your videos for this very reason. Great job!!

I am so glad you showed that mud hole out past the school and directed where people should go. I was there a month ago and went to the right! Thank God I had a winch is all I'm saying! Maybe plan your meals for the trip around cooking with it at most meals. We have a 12v crock pot that we love, but like you said, it's another thing you have to pack. ALL trail rated Jeeps are rated at a MINIMUM of 19 inches.

I see ZERO purpose of the scottle... to your point, why? I started with the $100 17" Blackstone, no clue why a $300+ that does the exact same thing as a Blackstone. --- Also, I do feel there is a line between open fire cooks and gas cooks, and each has pros and cons. --- my question for you is for cast iron.. how do you clean the OUTSIDE for packing? ie getting soot over everything it's packed next to?

I just wide my cast iron down. Where it goes in my tote it can't really get anything messy.

I say take the gnome house down. Nobody drives all the way out there to look at arts and crafts. You drive out there to enjoy nature.

Did you have to get a permit for business activity to be able to be there with the vehicle or is that an established area for vehicles camping. Just wanting to not be disappointed when I deck out my truck and get there and can't drive my vehicle to a spot like this to camp

The skottle is over priced for what it is. Get yourself a Coleman single burner, weld it to a steel plate, have the plate hammered from the center out to make a slight bowl, weld some leg screws on the bottom and use some aluminum tubes to screw on. Maybe spend $80 max. Not these $200-$700 skottles. That’s ridiculous.
