I actualy used to play this game in my early childhood, strarting from when I was at the age of 4. I liked it. I'm not sure when did I stopped playing it but I remember I never got past 3-2. Maybe I shold come back to it. Anyway, I'm glad to see that someone's willing to give it a fair chance instead of turning it down right away. Happy 2020 Mr. 64

Sonic Chronicles might be one of the least fun games I’ve ever played in my entire life but I‘ll still defend it on the basis of appreciating the Codex, and even though 06 was a buggy, half-baked mess I think it had some cool ideas. It was ambitious, but nobody can argue that it was deeply flawed; equally, I think with a little more time in the oven it could’ve been just as good as Unleashed, if not better.
I agree. More time and it could have been great. Thst's why P06 on PC is so much fun to play. They're taking what could of been and making it a reality.

If this game starred completely new characters as opposed to Sonic and Robotnik, then I bet it would’ve gone down in history as a decent puzzle title for the Game Gear.
If you read the origin story in the "sonic bible" from the early 90s Dr Ivo robotnik was a good guy scientist living on mobius, he made sonic (an already abnormaly fast hedgehog) his speedy shoes, sonic accidently destroys robotniks labs whilst he is running tests on a chaos emerald. The explosion turns sonic blue and robotnic evil. So the whole loosing his shoes thing does make sense of you take that version of sonics origin into account.
I quite like this game. It’s kinda entertaining. I dunno why, games like this are just interesting. I also like this video format, how everything was set up. Nice work to the both of you!

My favourite sonic game is LEGO DIMENSIONS SONIC LEVEL PACK. No it's not a joke i think the game is really smooth and the moveset is spectacular and really similar to the sonic adventure's moveset and level design is incredible with a lot of references. I LOVE IT.
Sonic Generations is my favourite game in the series and my favourite game of all time. It was my first sonic game and I have so many fond memories of playing it. I prefer how Unleashed plays in the daytime stages but I prefer Generations overall.
I found out about this game by playing it on Sonic Mega Collection Plus as a kid, so I always thought the timer was there because Eggman had bombs that would blow up the levels and that Sonic only went slowly because he felt that sorry for Eggman.
I tried playing this game and I just couldn't get past the first boss so I gave up. But this game also implies that Eggman was able to find Sonic's resting place and wasn't fed up enough with him to actually try to kill him, which combined with the Sonic 1 manual implying Sonic had already thwarted Eggman's plans at least more than once before the events of original game and basically no other game fitting before Sonic 1 timeline-wise, means this was like, Sonic's first battle against Eggman after they met. I hate how much sense that makes to me.

They're both slow games that made some bad decisions. Battle just has the benefit of being a story based game on a better console.
