As a quebecker, the exasperating trouble you guys had with the police is nothing short of an embarssement for our province. I wish I could've help you get through it. On an other note, congratulations for your incredible journey and thanks for posting up those videos.
Understatement of the century. That cop literally made up laws o the spot to extort these two for cash. The shame. I'd like to say that this isn't the norm, but it is. The police are ordered to fleece all non Quebecers. Driving in Qc without a Qc number plate is well known to be absolutely dangerous. They'll steal your bikes to get cash, they'll even kidnap you so your family will send "fine" money. We know what they're doing, they know what they're doing, yet it never stops. The people at the top of the pyramid-of-corruption order them to do it, take the cash, and laugh at all of you. Because there's nothing you can do. They do what they want. Police arrest and rape women, plant drugs on good people and everything in between. It's a cesspool of corruption where one half steals from the hard working other half. If the hard workers speak up or refuse to pay they go to prison and THAT'S A FACT. UNDENIABLE FACT. How is this all possible? The people in control benefit, that's how. Disgusting

Neither of you need feel ashamed . I just discovered it this week , July 2021 , and just about the only thing I watch on YT are travel adventures . I’ve got it on good account that YT hold things back from their algorithmic dissemination system in order to have things to “release” further on. No WAY I would’ve missed this 4-5 years ago .
I am so glad I came across this. Having motorcycled from Newfoundland to Prudhoe Bay, it was not winter, although the Dalton H’way got cold, but definitely not what you are experiencing. Love the humour. Easy watching. Well done.
First... if the conditions are “less than ideal” then you should be traveling below the posted speed limit. WTF?! Really??? Sounds to me like Richie’s girlfriend needs to drive within her limits for slow or stopped traffic when coming around blind turns. She should be able to slow down and pass when safe to do so...just like one would with bicycles. Furthermore, is there even a law against riding motorcycles during that time of year or in those conditions in Canada? EDIT: I just listened to his reply to Richie’s message. 😉👍 As a cop in Ohio, he literally just said everything I usually think, but don’t say when dealing with Richies. DOUBLE EDIT: I wouldn’t have kept you for an hour. I would have asked for a pic with you all for the scrapbook though! TRIPLE EDIT: On behalf of police officers without their heads up their asses, I’d like to apologize for your treatment in Quebec. That was completely uncalled for.
Don't be too hard on itchie's girl friend. Her windshield had 5 cm of snow packed on it and she was having a hard time seeing while driving and texting. Not to mention she she dumped a beer between her legs on the car seat.

The Quebec police and MANY of their citizens simply do not like motorcycles and especially the folks who ride them. Not an opinion. but the truth. Being half French-Canadian it pains me to say that I will never go to Quebec until something changes up there. Ridden with too many Canadians riding through New York just to avoid Quebec. Pretty sad. Sad about Rob, but those of us who ride know it can happen at an time. Keep on riding.
Whaaa? I don't think that they single out motorcycles (I live in Quebec and Ontario, and have well over 30 years on a licensed motorcycle - not the 25 year old who says "I've been riding for 18 years, man"). In my area they are very vigilant with their traffic detail, but have you ever ridden the Blue Ridge Parkway?
Just recently found this channel and I've been watching all the episodes from the very beginning. I believe this is the longest one yet and the ending was a touching memorial for Rob. Well done Ed!
Ed!! Love your stories man. As a quebecer myself, I really want to apologize for your experience in our province. I'm sadened that you stumbled upon such an ass of a cop. There's a lot more of love for people like you around here as it might have seemed. Keep it going man. You're a legend.
I have only just stumbled across this channel, absolutely awesome and I am on a binge on the content. Side note I am an Englishmen living in Canada (Alberta) I totally get why the cops were checking on you, the climate here can literally change over night, I’ve seen -30 to +15 change within 12 hours (and vice versa). It can be really dangerous here, I’ve been caught out lots of times with the roads and the ice The prairies can also feel endless, I drive that way all the time to get to the rockies. I have to laugh about Quebec, as it never feels part of Canada as it’s filled with a bunch of cockwombles
I've heard tales of keeping the engines warm in a similar way. In the north of Sweden people used to love diesels for their winter reliability. They used to burn diesel in metal coffee containers under the engine to make sure it started later.

I'll think of you next time I'm on a piddly 3-4 day biking/camping trip and whinging about some trivial inconvenience. Thanks!
Fantastic video - you're both very tough! And Rachel always so incredibly positive - a great strength for the challenges you faced!
Your response to Ritchie's rant was absolute GOLD!! Good stuff.
You two rock!! Mega kudos for your accomplishment, few could do what you have done and with so much joy and spirit. By going across Canada in the winter you guys should be able to go anywhere and do anything you set your mind to. All the best.
Ya its the fantastic humour and positive attitudes, just loving life... happpy travels U2
Just came across this today and thought you guys are mental. I'm Canadian, now living in the tropics and boy do I hate the snow and winter in general, but watching you both riding across the country in winter actually made me miss that part of Canada that I haven't experienced in so many years. You are also inspirations, the way you undertook this massive (crazy) journey and saw it through. Thanks for an amazing (and entertaining) video! Cheers!
How on earth is it possible i discovered this years later?
Rachel gives me hope that awesome girls do exist. ;))
You think you were late to the party? I just discovered this series this week ( March 2021) and I am ashamed to admit it. Totally agree with you.
@@davericketts9101 Yes, story of my life..
@@lisacolbert5987 UA-cam is weird indeed. Total garbage gets hundreds of millions of views.
@@lisacolbert5987 I’m a month behind you
I am so glad I came across this.
You guys are unbelievable. What an amazing spirit of adventure you guys have
You two have an awesome sense of humor! 👍🏻👍🏻
I've tears in my eyes that I'm seeing this documentary so late now.. It's so beautiful to see you two absolute great human beings meeting so many other nice people and being happy all the time in the videos. I just felt the need to drop that comment and I wonder how you guys doing today and what you're doing
Thanks for the lovely comment 🙂
I'm converting a double decker bus into a home, editing the next video, and engineering on gas tanker ships at sea.
Rachel is doing well too, she's working in customer relations in the leisure industry and is looking forward to getting a cat soon.
@@c90adventures wow, sounds really amazing. I don't want to spoil myself, so I'll watch every of your videos in historical order to don't miss anything. Sounds kinda weird but I really like your style of just being a chilled and crazy dude, just like one should enjoy life. Are you and Rachel still together?
@@mojust777 no we broke up once we both got back to the UK. But the final video of the series will cover that so people don't wonder why.
@@c90adventures oh okay, sorry for asking that so directly.. do you have instagram oder some social network to subscrive to?
Mate, that's one of the greatest adventure bike riding videos I've ever watched. Love your work! Keep it up! Peace and Love from Farnham Surrey UK
Many years spent in norther Norways winter as a Royal Marine i take my hat off to you both. Bloody fantastic guys, very proud.
“Trying to be more French than the French “, lol! At least you didn’t run into the Language cops.
You guys are so lucky to have found a partner with a similar sense of adventure and sense of humour. Just awesome.
You deserve more views and subs for the amount of effort you put into these things! This episode was amazing, I re-watched all previous episodes before starting on this beast and it was awesome. I hope you will edit the next one soon!
dude..that rant to the Ritchie twat..absolutely EPIC!!
:) So happy to see another C90 Adventures video!
Sorry for the wait. I stopped editing it in the USA because I wanted to get it just right. I waited until I found a house to rent in Mexico where I could be free to let my creative juices flow. I hope you like the result :)
Worth the wait.
Well done
+c90adventures this was the right move. very good video! thank you for sharing your trip. keep safe.
Had so much fun and good emotions watching this real adventure trip. Thank you so much. Reminded me of my army time as Kradmelder (temperatures were very similar). Big regards and appreciation from south-west of Germany
You two are lunatics, but you're awesome lunatics! Well done! :)
The rant about Richie just made my day. I may listen to that once a week from now on
Holy crap, a dvd worth of episode.
SOoooooooooooo impressed w you both and your positive attitudes and, .... lucky guy, Rachel is a keeper!!!!!
This is great! Your adventure fills a great gap in my viewing pleasure since Top gear was revamped! The new show is bland and cant wait for the trios new show, but i finally have something that makes me feel the same way. Good luck and i look forward to future episodes!
Praise indeed. Thanks Devin.
Hi Ed, I found your account this week and I just wanted you to know that, your channel is now my comfort show. I could be doing literally anything and as long as I’m playing your channel in the background i know it’s gonna be a good day! Much love from AZ
i ride my motorbike most of the winter here in calgary alberta.
its really not as difficult as people make it out to be. yeah -30C does get abit annoying but as long as its not a blizzard outside you can get by on a dual sport, just gotta watch out for black ice sometimes, but ice on city roads is usually melted most of the winter anyways.
glad to see others going in my foots steps! nice video, ride on!
so youve ridden across coast to coast in the winter then?
not coast to coast, but i have ridden from Calgary Alberta to the coast of Vancouver BC in December. so i can defiantly appreciate them riding coast to coast.
is that you ryan f9??
39:50 "and Sean Connery's eyebrows came out too" RIP 007 and RIP Mr. Harris. Your video is absolutely fabulous. I couldn't have imagined a better reenactment and response. Your research was on point. Definitely subscribing!! ♡♡♡ I wish you would have made it to PEI
This is by far the best episode of this series so far! The editing is on point as well was the schooling you gave Richie and his girlfriend! 😂
A bitter sweet ending to this episode, very emotional throughout!
I am thoroughly impressed by your positive attitudes and motivation in those harsh conditions.
The world needs more people like this.
Wow! You two are awesome! Glad you had each other to keep the other one laughing and keep moving on your journey.
Your commentary is hilarious and you two are such lovable cooks. Rock on mates!!
I thought I was the only one that had problems in Quebec, apperently its everyone haha
misteroldschool that is the way of Kbec
Little did you know when you said, "I need you in my life as balast" that she would become exactly that.
I'm not being nasty, only picking up on my observations.
I highly respect your both strength of mind and determination to carry on and not give up. This is a tremendous video series. Thanks.
That response to Ritchie aka knobhead is one of the funniest things on the internet 😂
your reply to the bell end Richie was awesome !!! what a complete tools those two were. The police sketch was spot on to !!. love these videos im so envious of your bike trips.
I very much enjoyed the rants!😂🤣😂 What a Jack wagon, saying that his girlfriend had trouble passing on a miles straight empty road!
What a kicker of a video. I had so much fun watching this. Got recommended in May 2021.
Well said, that stuck it to Richie, what an arse!!!.....
I love when I find a great channel with amazing videos! Thanks so much for sharing this
I knew you were mad when i met you at huub but now I am convinced. thank you so much for entertaining video and the laughs, and yes you are a good pair of nuts.
I have seen and done some mad things but you guys are the maddest - respect!
That was epic.
Now THATS A FEMINISMS I can respect 🙏
Wonderful and inspiring adventure. I'm living vicariously through you two.
A perfect representation of our cocky police officer here in Québec
Just recently found this channel and I've been watching all the episodes from the very beginning. I believe this is the longest one yet and the ending was a touching memorial for Rob. Well done Ed!
Driving on snow covered and icy roads on motorcycles, even these small bikes is no easy feat.
“I need you in my life… as ballast” going to miss y’all together
"...looks like a Jacuzzi after a gangbang." Those are words I don't know that I can ever forget! Lol
10/10 you two are fantastic and the humour in this video is PERFECT.
Ed!! Love your stories man. As a quebecer myself, I really want to apologize for your experience in our province. I'm sadened that you stumbled upon such an ass of a cop. There's a lot more of love for people like you around here as it might have seemed.
Keep it going man. You're a legend.
I enjoy binging these videos. I, sure AF, would have not managed to wait for these episodes to trickle down when the story was ongoing. great trip!!!
Laughed so hard watching this. Richie the Quebec cops very well done 👍
It can be really dangerous here, I’ve been caught out lots of times with the roads and the ice
The prairies can also feel endless, I drive that way all the time to get to the rockies.
I have to laugh about Quebec, as it never feels part of Canada as it’s filled with a bunch of cockwombles
The Tyrannosaurus wreck bit killed me haha.
It's in Drumheller if you're wondering.
Just discovered and binged all your content. Excellent! Easy coast Canadian here.
Your excellent Quebec police bit needs its own video!
I laughed so hard at the reply to the rant
I've heard tales of keeping the engines warm in a similar way. In the north of Sweden people used to love diesels for their winter reliability. They used to burn diesel in metal coffee containers under the engine to make sure it started later.
"Humanity needs a cull."
*Watching in 2020*
"Err..."
😉
(I see your point though!)
glad to see other people watching this in 2020 too
😂😂😂 im in stitches
Be careful what you wish for. LOL
Love how you’re making lemonade while on motorcycles…. You’re positivity and rants are a wonder of nature… safe travels. Just subscribed
