And If you have it, it's not as if having it has given you villagers any advantage over Nigerians when it comes to productivity. Nigeria doesn't have electricity but it has found a way to power its industries/services to becoming the largest economy in Africa. As for Ghana, it can't even afford to build functional drainage systems for your ramshackle capital city in Accra. That eyesore you call capital city goes under water every time it rains, and you are there talking about electricity.
