    An innovative blend of futuristic looks including a fully molded and painted EPO body wrapped around a high-performance airframe makes the Blade® Eclipse 360 an eye-catching addition to any RC pilot’s collection. It’s designed to be capable of smooth hovering plus scale-like and sport flying for intermediate pilots, yet is also capable of aerobatics and even mild 3D in the hands of experienced pilots. The expertly-tuned FC6250HX flybarless control system includes optional-use SAFE technology for angle limits and automatic self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode, and no limits in all other flight modes - plus Panic Recovery to “bail out” at the push of a button if you ever need it! The powerful brushless main and tail motors are connected to a Spektrum Dual Smart ESC that delivers real-time telemetry data to AirWare™ equipped transmitters, and they’re compatible with common and popular 3S 2200-3200mAh batteries. Digital, metal-geared servos, an aluminum head block, and carbon fiber main rotor blades deliver reliable and precise control for the factory-assembled airframe. The lightweight yet durable body is equipped with LED navigation and landing lights along with hard mounting points for the low-profile skids that provide a streamlined “gear up” look, or you can install the included wheel set for a different look and ground handling experience. And it’s all delivered in a model that’s ready to bind to your favorite Spektrum transmitter to offer a unique helicopter flying experience you can’t get anywhere else!

      I haven't flown a heli yet, but I've been getting interested in them for a while now.
      I'd absolutely buy a AirWolf heli, but only if it's a AirWolf heli and not some goofy odd looking 222 wannabe with a AW paint scheme.
      Edit: and at a reasonable price point depending on size.

      @@PhilipCockram the goal wasn't to reduce the cost...it's to be able to make bodies with more interesting shapes that are also more durable than plastic and fiberglass! This model is priced right between the Blade 330 and Fusion 360 because it has a similar airframe, components, and capabilities.

    Good afternoon, I bought the eclipse 360 blade helicopter and would like to know if it is compatible with the old dx7s radio?
    I can only fly in acro-mode, I can't fly in
    safe mode how can I do it?
    Do I have to buy another newer radio?
    I'm desperate

    • @HorizonHobbyProducts
      @HorizonHobbyProducts  Місяць тому

      We checked with the Blade team, and they aren't able to test to make sure (since the DX7s 15+ years old now and no one has one to check), but they suggested trying JUST the "System Setup" settings seen in the "DX7s, DX8" chart near the bottom of page 6 in this old Blade 230 S manual: www.horizonhobby.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-horizon-master/default/dwa3863798/Manuals/BLH1500-Manual-EN.pdf
      DO NOT use any of the settings shows on that page under "Function List". All other settings should be those found in the Eclipse 360 manual. And again, this may not work because the DX7s is more than a decade obsolete (and we do recommend upgrading to a newer Spektrum transmitter with AirWare software for easier programming and all proper functions when flying newer models like this one).

      Multiplex fun copter is not even close. There are many other foam fuselage helps before the multiplex came out. Blade has also had fixed pitch version years ago. multiplex was inspired by the house fly fixed pitch foam heli.

    • @HorizonHobbyProducts
      @HorizonHobbyProducts  Місяць тому

      But we didn't design it for and don't market it to beginners. And when it does crash, it breaks LESS than a typical "pod and boom" heli of the same size because the body protects the airframe more!
      Skill Level 2 - Some Experience Required
      Skill Level 2 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots with some experience and the skills to assemble and/or set up and fly similar class models. Although the Eclipse 360 is equipped with optional-use SAFE technology, it’s not a suitable first-ever RC helicopter for new pilots or “next step after a trainer” model for low-time RC pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly Collective Pitch (CP) helicopters like the Blade 230, 330, Fusion 360, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the Eclipse 360.

      @@HorizonHobbyProducts .... I don't see how the body would protect the tailboom e from snapping off If it's just foam Because you would need a truss support...
