Been flying heli's for around 15 years. I have an Align 550 2 450's a Blade 360 and a 230. I have never had the desire to fly 3-D. I just enjoy flying them around like a scale helicopter. I might have to check this one out.
BRIAN AND FAMILY. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO ON LINE. THE BLADE ECLIPS LOOKS LIKE AIRWOLF HELI. I HOPE TO BUY AND FLY ONE SOMEDAY. I ENJOY WATCHING YOU FLY. TAKE CARE ALL. JDK IDAHO.
I have really enjoyed learning to fly RC helicopters over the years and have no desire to fly 3D style either. There is something really satisfying about learning to fly RC helicopters because they are so different and difficult to learn at first. Love your videos - keep up the good work!
One of the things I love about my helis is they are almost entirely carbon fiber, fiberglass and machined aluminum. If you break something you can swap the parts and make them brand new again. I have a SAB Kraken 580 and many other helis I dont like the idea of a foam heli. Looks sorta cool though I guess.
I can't believe how crazy and insane some very skillful people can fly helis. One second their in the air, the next their sailing towards the ground upside down cutting grass and the next second their zooming back up in the sky and flipping all all over the place.
It's EPO, like the planes. It till dent, but it's more springy like the EPO models we're getting today, not like EPS (EPS - think UMX planes...more brittle and easy to crack)
Good afternoon, I bought the eclipse 360 blade helicopter and would like to know if it is compatible with the old dx7s radio? I can only fly in acro-mode, I can't fly in safe mode how can I do it? Do I have to buy another newer radio? I'm desperate

Glad you're here with us! E120 is a fun little guy, and should be a blast. I've often thought flying at a nursing facility would be a great way to keep folks in high spirits!

So Brian, since this model must weigh in excess of 250g. where did you put the RID (Remote ID) module and how did you hook it up? There doesn't appear to be a lot of room to add an RID module. 🤔🤔
You could put the Sky in there if you wanted. PLENTY of room for those who would be flying outside a FRIA, that want to comply with RID. This was filmed before the enforcement date, fyi.
Man that motherlode of lipos sitting around unprotected would freak anyone out lol. I still don't understand much about lipos and safety and charging etc. Rc's scare me with how dangerous everything can be. I'm the type of person who buys $5K worth of parts and upgrades to build a badass traxxas xmaxx and decides to put it for sale once it's built Which it's still being built. I've had a couple really nice rc trucks that I didn't even use yet from a couple years ago, everything is still brand new not even powered up. Not even sure why I buy them or bother spending thousands to beef them up before using them. Helis look fun But there's so many different motions that you have to learn for the blades etc. I'm the type that buys things new and let's them sit around for months or years new in the boxes before using them. I still have a brand new Aarmma outkast 8s blx truck that I dropped $1k in M2c upgrades and their still new in the entire kit plus extra parts I bought. I don't understand rc's much so I choose not use them I guess cuz I don't wanna mess things up or catch anything on fire and lose thousands. You definitely seem knowledgeable about the batteries and what not. I just came across your guys channel and I really enjoyed this video. I've seen this helicopter in other people's videos recently it looks fun. You say you Want Want Want more helis etc, What does your wifey want lol. Purses and shoes etc lol. I'm just kidding. I will have to start watching more of your videos. Do you review land vehicles to? Keep up the great videos.
Thanks for being here with us. Lipo's can be dangerous. They are kinda like other chemicals that can be reactive, just gotta give them the chance to do what they do, and the BMS (battery management system) built into the SMART packs make them WAY safer, but the danger is still THERE...just lessened greatly. If you think my stack of lipo's looks dangerous, you should see our 27.2kW batteries in the basement - they're about 900 lbs of batteries, and power our whole house...just got done with that system, btw, and they are admittedly a SAFER chemistry - lithium iron phosphate (LFP) - which helps reduce the chance of a "runoff" where one cell sets the next on fire, and so on, and so forth, leading to a larger fire. Anyway, RC, as with many other sports and hobbies CAN be dangerous, but to be honest, as "dangerous" as our hobby COULD be, it's got a pretty good track record. Just about every single kids sport you hear about has more life changing injuries, and deaths by percentage basis - life is dangerous - gotta chose your battle. I can't speak for you, but there are way more terrible ways to die in my day to day life that I hope never get me - I love this hobby, and hope we can be of some assistance if you choose to get into it deeper, and start dealing with some more and more "risky" equipment, because that's the stuff that really gets fun ;) As for Megan - she wants to be at home with the kids, and not have to get up early in the morning, and wants time to spend with the kids. We made a list a long time ago with many life goals, and we're quite literally living out many of our "dreams" together. She doesn't need expensive stuff, but she does like a nice rock or two on her wedding ring ;) LOL but other than that, she's more about wanting more time, and wants to make sure she's taking care of our four kids well. This "hobby" has been impacting that part of our lives in a difficult to control way, so I, well WE are working hard to figure a way to mitigate the "pain points" of keeping and maintaining a successful UA-cam channel - which is a lot easier said than done. It may look so easy, and there are definitely a lot of good things, but boy-oh-boy, the responsibilities never end...and they grow and grow with no guarantee of any level of success beyond past performance. Anyway, gotta go for now. Thanks for being here!
I would love to see some more scale options...Apache, Cobra, Huey, Bell, MD500, Blackhawk, etc. I can't wait to see what's next, and to be honest, I just want to fly these beauties scale!
Ill be honest im not your biggest fan because you often do the 'influencer intro' 'HEYYYYY UA-cam ITS BRIAN' and it always instantly turned me off to your videos, but while building planes and stuff i tend to have youtube running in the background and youtube loves to go to your videos. When you come online ill lend an ear and......you always seem to have nuggets of gold info that people don't really talk about and i appreciate them immensely and i very much wanted to thank you for always doing the breakdown stuff and going into 'squirrel' mode where you just get distracted going on a random tangent. Those random tangents are the things i want to hear the most because you explain things no one else explains and they are 99% of the time the missing information ive been looking for for years. So. Youre intros are annoying. But you are good people in this community :) lol
Thanks. :) We know this intro's aren't for everyone... you either love 'em or you hate 'em, but it sounds like UA-cam knew you'd love us regardless. We won't be offended if you just mute the first few seconds ;)

Alright, just finished mine. Flew it in our small back yard and I was a lot more nervous than I thought I would be while flying it. But all went well!

yep, that's crazy, and I can't do it without ending the flight in tears ;)
Tail rotor is called a fenestron. I work on an Airbus helicopter.
Very cool. I have a couple 450 scale Flywing heli's. I believe I'll be adding that one to the fleet. Thank you for the review
Looks sweet. Is it the kind of foam that will dent easily?
It's EPO, like the planes. It till dent, but it's more springy like the EPO models we're getting today, not like EPS (EPS - think UMX planes...more brittle and easy to crack)
it looks moulded not foam? shiny? really good, looking but it's just to expensive compared to the awesome direct drive heli's on Bangood 👍🙄
Hi Brian, what's the link to the screw drivers Kit? Thank!
Brian, Can you suggest to our friends at Blade if they will produce a helicopter with GPS.
I like the tail rotor design. Should be easy to make a commanche body for it.
That would be SWEEET!
@BrianPhillipsRC just need to find a 5 blade rotor head.
You'll have to look into a pair of them light up night blades for your helis.
They way you say "Brian Phillips UA-cam" makes me laugh😂 never know how it's gonna be.
