Me gustan los modelos jumbo de yamaha en electroacústica
Could you help in choosing between two guitar strings namely Yamaha cgx 171 cca and cgx 171 scf
Like most of us I started playing guitar on a Rivera Mark 2 classical. It had lousy action but that can be a good thing as it builds strength in the hands, went to a steel string dreadnaught then electric but I swore I'd never buy another nylon string guitar. Now fifty years later I just purchased one of these Yamaha CGX122MCC and had that old familiar shitty action. Why do they do that , why do classical guitars have such lousy action ? Took it to my local guitar tech' and it's now a joy to play. "Matt at Saltmine instrument repairs in Darlinghurst, Sydney Australia" and I swear the guy is a genius . No truss rod to adjust just shaved a bit off the nut and another sliver off the bridge and it's beautiful to play. So why can't Yamaha do this before they unleash them onto the public ?
This is an interesting comment. Classical guitars have higher action to deal with the wider string vibration when played loudly with classical technique. Nylon strings are lower tension and playing with a classical rest stroke moves the string more and in a different direction than does playing with a pick or non-classical finger style. Having said all that, most cheaper guitars benefit from a luthier at least finessing the height of the nut slots.
Unfortunately we can't hear the sound of both side-by-side. But men is It ni impression or the second guitar, mentioned by solid spruce top , is a little bit smaller than first with solid cedar top ? Sure os it the same model, or I haven't understand nothing ?
I wish that they were both played because I wanted to hear the differences.
Either way I'm probably going with the cedar. (;
Envíame a Ecuador
I had a Yamaha cgx171caa guitar 3/4 size. How does the one you have compare? I paid $500 for mine used. I see one now for $550 approximately plus $80 shipping. I will find a song I made up
is CG a Concert Level Guitar... ??
we just heard your voice not the f.. guitar .
what where you thinking making this video
great looks like a guitar, didn't want to hear what it sounds like or anything I'll just take your word that it sounds good
Good, you shouldn't rely on UA-cam's compressed audio for a true comparison! They are all different sounding. At least with Yamaha there is consistancy like no other guitar manufacturer. Remember guitars are a cake job for Yamaha, look at what else they build that is much more complicated (motorcycles, boat motors etc.).
@@guitarsunited fair point, I don't think I would buy a guitar without playing it. You're right about the compression
When you take guitar it should play.....not any talks
Bright, warm sound????? Duh, why not let us hear it doof???
i own one it's the worst guitar i ever owned it has a horrible hollow feeling neck that makes the strings very noisy. By that i mean any movement of the fingers creates a screech louder than the playing and even if you try and lift your fingers off the strings before you move them it still creates a loud screech. i have tried diffrent sting with no diffrence. this is a guitar to keep away from. I have owned many yamaha classicals and this one is junk my problem is i cant record with it.
