I enjoy your videos. The best way to improve your skills is to fly at night, often. Fly to local airports at night, then simultaneously, get some glider time which will help you appreciate energy management. Don't be afraid to put your Kodiak in every conceivable attitude, practice short field landings, and push your limits, you'll be a safer pilot and more confident. I've been licensed since 1976, My instructor was an ag pilot, and I had much time flying gliders, which helped me appreciate energy management. Good luck.
What is the shortest amount you need for the runway for you to take off as well as coming down landing? I’ve also look at the Harrison Ford he has a Beaver 🦫 you can take off very short amount of distance. Can anyone of you guys tell me how much of the difference as well as the price tag please and thank you.!!!
came here expecting a kodiak vs Grand Caravan not Grand CANYON. Lol.. Nice life Doc. Looks like a great choice in planes! but seriously I'd like to see a video where you talk about why you chose a Kodiak over a Caravan. cheers.
That’s probably going to be my next video. There are many many reasons. They are not even comparable. The caravan is an old dinosaur. Like being in a retrofitted 1980’s pickup truck. Thanks for watching!
sure hope the poor schlub you operated on before heading out for your fun weekend did ok and didn't have any complications....hope they can pay the crazy high bills for your services so you can afford the nice plane....I'm sure you weren't distracted at all during their procedure as you were so excited about the upcoming trip...
Was looking through yiur vids from a while ago to show my dad who flies Caravans. Did you have a vid of you flying a Kodiak with 35 hours? With instructor of course. Thanks!!
Looks like a great "team building" trip with a Kodiak.
My staff loved it and was great to be able to do something like this for them.
You are a LEGEND SIR! Wish You all the best from the bottom of my pilots heart Amir!
Thanks for watching!

Thank you! I’m definitely going to be doing some glider training. But first doing Kodiak floatplane next month!

There’s always that one disgruntled, jealous hater who’s unhappy with their life in the comment section… you got the award captain 🤡
As a young doctor who also loves to fly, you are a a role model. Hoping to meet you one day. 😊

It was a caravan and I think about 25 hours. It’s on the @flyingwithrich channel
43 knot stall speed and 317 ft takeoff ground roll. Wow! What a bush plane?!
It’s an amazing airplane. Thanks for watching!
Sir. I am so inspired. I look forward to the day I can fly with you.
