I don’t about you guys but I think the void century never happened. It’s happening right now. The current story of One Piece is the Void Century. Luffy is not Joyboy but instead Joyboy is Luffy. Some with call him Joyboy in place like Wano, others will call him Nika the sun god in Elbaf. Joyboy who sent a letter to the Mermaid princess that he couldn’t accomplish his promise is literally the promise Luffy made to Shirahoshi. The evil King who was torturing the small people from Dressrosa and enslaved them was Simply Doflamingo. When Roger laughed when he discovered the One Piece who else makes us laugh as much that clown Luffy? Remember Roget said he wish he was born in the same era. We don’t know if he meant the past or the future. Also Shanks, Crocus and Rayleigh also said Luffy was the One they were wait for, that the hat fit him so well. It’s quite simple that hat has always been Luffy’s. Momonosuke will learn to write the poneglyhs from his grandfather, Robin will help him and also create the Ohara kingdom, I think I will be Vivi who might acquire the devil fruit power to send the poneglyphs in the past. They sent them 900 years earlier to prepare for that we are living right now. In a funny way, Veganpunk could actually be the one who originally created the devil fruits or mother flames. He is simply not aware of it. I also think the reason there was no king on the throne of Marijoie is because the 20 Kings were aware of this and decided to avoid this war by swearing that no one should be on that throne but Imu managed to get a throne and tried to shape the future.

I'm confused on why people think they're frauds. Nobody would believe a group of pirates about this. Even beyond Rodgers himself what would the remnants of his crew do about this/why should they care besides protecting themselves and those they care about.

We've known for a long time that the Roger pirates basically know some kind of prophecy through the One Piece.
There's a reason why Roger said he was too early, why Oden knew that Wano would be freed in twenty years, and why Rayleigh and Crocus were waiting for Luffy.
It's clear that they've been waiting for Luffy, the warrior of liberation to do his thing. And it's clear that it had to happen this way, for whatever reason. Because that's how the Roger pirates have treated Luffy throughout the story. I'm 99% sure Shanks "bet on the future" was that Luffy was the sun god that the Roget pirates have been waiting for.

All we know is Oden wanted the borders opened up after his journey. Every other Roger pirate did virtually nothing in reaction to their journey as far as we know. This is why people are still speculating regarding this topic. Cause now certain things can be linked to their prior knowledge and we are starting to know more about what went down 800 years ago. Like Shanks letting Luffy eat the fruit in the first place. Is that just a mere coincidence now? There’s a lot of questions that can be asked.

A lot of you skipped Skypiea Arc and it shows. Nolan went back and told everyone what he found and the amazing things in the world....and the world government branded him a liar and had him killed. His whole family was discriminated against, even till the current era. His crew members even tried to vouch for him and no one cared. Should Roger have just followed in those footsteps and given the world government the chance to brand him a liar and block off knowledge of the last island or how it can be found?

And while the King was greedy and in a rush, it makes sense why he made that. He took 1000 soldiers, meaning people, and only a dozen survived the voyage to Jaya. So basically at least 900 people died in the voyage, and they found nothing!
The consequence for making 900 people dying, was defaming and executing him.
Now, certainly Noland wasn't lying, and the king should have taken less people, and taken Noland crew. Noland told him this at first, but then accepted(He shoulnd't have!)

I think Roger thought Shanks was supposed to be Joy boy and that's why he had the Nika fruit but since the fruits have a will of their own when they came in close proximity to Luffy he was compelled to eat it thereby fulfilling it's desire or something like that.
I doubt that, given he outright said he thought his yet unborn son would be the one to do it to Rayleigh. And even if you wanted to interpret thst as Shanks, you couldn't, since Rayleigh also outright says he doesn't have a son,and Roger responds with "I will in the future".

Think of Luffy. If Joyboy was anything like Luffy than it's safe to say that like Luffy Joyboy didn't make plans, he ruins plans. Luffy throughout the story sooner or later is the one who ruins the Plan other characters made. So for the situation in the Void Century to get to the point where even the Plan destroyer Joyboy has to make a plan himself is prettt dire.

He already lived at the twin capes long before Roger picked him up to go on the final journey. Crocus joined the Roger pirates only to look for Brookes crew for laboon. Crocus has always for some reason had the job of lighthouse keeper at the entrance of the Grand line. He did not do that strategically after Roger died
