I honestly would enjoy that. It would be in character for Luffy. In the manga, anime and movies have said time and time again that he doesn’t want to be spoiled for his adventure. He wants to find out his own way. That will make him free, something he wants.

I don’t about you guys but I think the void century never happened. It’s happening right now. The current story of One Piece is the Void Century. Luffy is not Joyboy but instead Joyboy is Luffy. Some with call him Joyboy in place like Wano, others will call him Nika the sun god in Elbaf. Joyboy who sent a letter to the Mermaid princess that he couldn’t accomplish his promise is literally the promise Luffy made to Shirahoshi. The evil King who was torturing the small people from Dressrosa and enslaved them was Simply Doflamingo. When Roger laughed when he discovered the One Piece who else makes us laugh as much that clown Luffy? Remember Roget said he wish he was born in the same era. We don’t know if he meant the past or the future. Also Shanks, Crocus and Rayleigh also said Luffy was the One they were wait for, that the hat fit him so well. It’s quite simple that hat has always been Luffy’s. Momonosuke will learn to write the poneglyhs from his grandfather, Robin will help him and also create the Ohara kingdom, I think I will be Vivi who might acquire the devil fruit power to send the poneglyphs in the past. They sent them 900 years earlier to prepare for that we are living right now. In a funny way, Veganpunk could actually be the one who originally created the devil fruits or mother flames. He is simply not aware of it. I also think the reason there was no king on the throne of Marijoie is because the 20 Kings were aware of this and decided to avoid this war by swearing that no one should be on that throne but Imu managed to get a throne and tried to shape the future.

All we know is Oden wanted the borders opened up after his journey. Every other Roger pirate did virtually nothing in reaction to their journey as far as we know. This is why people are still speculating regarding this topic. Cause now certain things can be linked to their prior knowledge and we are starting to know more about what went down 800 years ago. Like Shanks letting Luffy eat the fruit in the first place. Is that just a mere coincidence now? There’s a lot of questions that can be asked.

We've known for a long time that the Roger pirates basically know some kind of prophecy through the One Piece.
There's a reason why Roger said he was too early, why Oden knew that Wano would be freed in twenty years, and why Rayleigh and Crocus were waiting for Luffy.
It's clear that they've been waiting for Luffy, the warrior of liberation to do his thing. And it's clear that it had to happen this way, for whatever reason. Because that's how the Roger pirates have treated Luffy throughout the story. I'm 99% sure Shanks "bet on the future" was that Luffy was the sun god that the Roget pirates have been waiting for.
Roger was definitely intricate to the “Joyboy” reincarnation. Starting the pirate era, having Ace, and having Shanks steal the Gumo gumo no mi to “give” to Ace right?! Went to East blue after stealing, which was the same island that Ace was on. Roger set the framework for the story to keep going.
With the recent revelation that the water has raised 200meters, does that peak anyone else's curiosity how Rayleigh the right hand of Roger knows how to coat ships. Maybe that knowledge was used to find Laughtale hidden underwater some where

If the roger pirates knew everything, then we can assume that they knew about toki’s mission and the resurgence of the kozuki. Joyboy himself was predicted to return. They had to sit on their hands reluctantly to prevent them from tampering with how things were supposed to play out with the outcome of Wano. Roger knew joyboys plan and put his faith in his return and ability.
The roger pirates know the void century punch line, vegapunk has bits and pieces, they’re not frauds until we know the full picture
I think joyboy wanted to cleanse the world off of devil fruits and started the flood. This would also explain why all the kings were so willing to go against him and why the first thing shanks said to luffy was “u can’t swim anymore” after he ate the fruit.
Why *would* pirates do anything about it other than laugh? Would you? Probably not.

A lot of you skipped Skypiea Arc and it shows. Nolan went back and told everyone what he found and the amazing things in the world....and the world government branded him a liar and had him killed. His whole family was discriminated against, even till the current era. His crew members even tried to vouch for him and no one cared. Should Roger have just followed in those footsteps and given the world government the chance to brand him a liar and block off knowledge of the last island or how it can be found?

And while the King was greedy and in a rush, it makes sense why he made that. He took 1000 soldiers, meaning people, and only a dozen survived the voyage to Jaya. So basically at least 900 people died in the voyage, and they found nothing!
The consequence for making 900 people dying, was defaming and executing him.
Now, certainly Noland wasn't lying, and the king should have taken less people, and taken Noland crew. Noland told him this at first, but then accepted(He shoulnd't have!)

The story clearly implies the world government took its time to approve the voyage(many years) and the voyage was only approved after half the island disappeared. With what we know now...that was not a coincidence. Noland was completely unaware of why the government was against him but we the readers know quite clearly.

I think Roger thought Shanks was supposed to be Joy boy and that's why he had the Nika fruit but since the fruits have a will of their own when they came in close proximity to Luffy he was compelled to eat it thereby fulfilling it's desire or something like that.
I doubt that, given he outright said he thought his yet unborn son would be the one to do it to Rayleigh. And even if you wanted to interpret thst as Shanks, you couldn't, since Rayleigh also outright says he doesn't have a son,and Roger responds with "I will in the future".

I think the Roger Pirates discovered Joyboy had a plan in place to save the world.
What makes the Roger Pirates laugh I think is because if they learn of Joyboy's story they would know Joyboy coming up with a plan is absolutely hilarious.
Think of Luffy. If Joyboy was anything like Luffy than it's safe to say that like Luffy Joyboy didn't make plans, he ruins plans. Luffy throughout the story sooner or later is the one who ruins the Plan other characters made. For Pluton, well since Kaido isn't technically guarding it anymore someone has a better chance of getting it. But for that to happen they would have to force Momo to call Zuniesha to remove the wall to free it. In all the ancient weapons are pretty protected.
Shirahoshi can literally just summon several kilometer long sea monsters to come face fuck any pirate ship that attempts to come do harm to her or fishman island in general tho lmfao.

We need to get passed the crocus thing. He did not position himself where he is at the beginning of our journey because of what he learned about the void century. He already lived at the twin capes long before Roger picked him up to go on the final journey. Crocus joined the Roger pirates only to look for Brookes crew for laboon. Bda law question here. In 1044 chapter we found out about gomu gomu fruit from a conversafion from gorosei, in the 1st chapter Shanks found the fruit and luffy eats it. I think there is a chapter after 1044 that Shankar visits Gorosei and has a proposal to discuss with them. So my 1st question is, would it be what it been revealed about shanks to say that Shanks somehow is working for gorosei? Amd found the gomu gomu fruit for the benefits of the world government?
