- You've heard about it in the forums, on the wiki, and in chat - But is the Ju 288 C any good? And, if so, is it worth it? I go over ALL of that and more - and in less than 9 minutes. That said, I hope you like gunship gameplay and wrecking bases, because that's what this plane is all about.

For an update - Even though the Ju-288C is 6.0BR now, whereas it was 5.7BR when I made this review, it is still about 95%, if not 100%, as good as it was for its BR as when I made this video.
How do i get good with planes?
Currently SL hoarding like crazy with this thing. 200% booster, 2 kills, a base and a carrier, 240k SL from the win. It's really a printer

@@IslamicWarlord Check out long5hot and learn to apply the tactics at low tier(2.7 and below) arcade. When you're ready, checkout AdamTheEnginerd and Green Fury for RB. Every plane flies differently, there's no way to give you advice for any one plane, and you also need to learn other planes' strengths and weaknesses as soon as you are comfortable. It's arguably more knowledge focused compared to ground forces.
You forgot an advantage. This thing loves to put out fires.
Self sealing fuel tanks aka i paid gajin so I get an advantage
For the prices they charge us I not just await an advantage, I await a working JU 288 at my doorway
I was up tiered once and the JU-288C does outrun the AR-234. In about a minute I was around 2km away from it.
It's crazy how fast it is. Maybe too fast?

Answer: Yes. Why?
- Great speed
- Climb first, not too much, preserve your speed. Go to bases at the same altitude you started on. Then, once you're done bombing, DIVE. Slowly dive and remain at the constant 610 and you outrun nearly everything.
- VERY good for grinding the german tech trees. In 1 month of 2 matches of simulator battles on ruhr or Sicily and bombing hangers or tents or any of the critical on airfields about 10 times will give you at least 40k rp per match, I think.
- VERY good for silver lion grinding. All things stated above make it quick and easy to grind SL.

@@bubyboo In sim battles in sicily or rurh, I cant remember which, when I climbed up to above 1910 it didnt fire at me.
In realistic battles you might need to go higher due to collateral of fighters and AA.
Maybe i buy this when its on sale. This Bomber will be also good for the Christmas Event. I think they will make the tasks like "Destroy bases with TNT Load of 10 Tons".
Exactly. This plane is a great way to complete that task! I'd recommend the A2D-1 for it, as well, if you like arcade, but they recently increased that plane's BR in arcade, so I'm not sure anymore.

The ki series from the Japanese are underrated you can get one for the American from a pack. X4 ho machine guns, they pack a punch. I’ve been using it for a bit and I’ve been slaying with it set at 800 targeting distance
Is the plane performing well in air SB? I want to buy one to grind some SL
When fighting against this plane, i noticed that in small lobbies (~6-8 players) this plane is basically a win condition for the enemy team, you see it so often, and when 1/3rd your team is on this plane you basically lost, just in the last 6 player match were 4 288Cs, it didn't end well for them
Almost two years later, and the entire 6.0 BR range is still doing donuts inside the septic tank. I'm not mad about it. It is, what it is, but what makes me sad that it's no more enjoyable to fly all these great prop fighters (such as P-51H, F4U-4B, 109 K4, or P-38K, just to name a few). You'll almost always end up in matches that either are over after 4-5 minutes, or last for 25 minutes because some Ju 288 douches decide to fly circles above their airfield. My only advice to any player is to just skip that BR and stay away from it. This is what I did for the last 2 years.
Repair costs 9,330 SL. I look for premiums that have a low repair cost relative to contemporary vehicles. The Prinz Eugen for example is 2440 compared to the Hipper which is 21,744 half stock. Or the Mukuma at 3,400 vs the Mogami at 21,200 stock. It's very difficult to do an apples to apples comparison in aircraft and armour, but the Wyvern is 2,600 and by far my number one go to attacker. And the Il-2 'Avenger', my #2 is 1,900.

Should I get this over the Do 335 for ground support and grinding?
Since they put this thing in 6.0 im literally shredding it with my J6K1 before it even does something but the speed can be sometimes annoying ngl.

I'm not sure. Based on recent Gaijin history, I could imagine this'll be a 30% sale, but I have my fingers crossed for 50%! There may not even be a sale at all and could instead be an event. We'll see!

This is a great vehicle recently picked it up for the 50% sale bday and it does great it has got me to jets

I'd say so, yes, but it opens the door for the Do-335 B-2 to be competitive with it in terms of SL and RP production. I would say to get the Do-335 B-2 if you're more into CAS, but otherwise, the Ju-288C is going to be better for RP and SL.
What about a dedicated premium fighter? Does the ju288 make more money than the premium fighters? How much would you make for a base destroyed without premium time.
@@charlee2470 ello, i believe it makes 9000 per base, and you can always get a base with the JU288, whereas getting a kill in a premium fighter can be difficult. if you bomb and RTB you get around 12k SL confirmed in around 6 minutes which is pretty good. fighters such as F4U Corsair and XP50 etc can make upwards of 25-30k per match but thats dependent on luck. With premium times thats doubled so 24k SL for Ju 288 and 50k or more in a good game in fighter.

It depends on what you like. For arcade, the A2D-1 all day. It's one of the best arcade planes. For realistic, I'd say the Ju 288c, especially for silver lions. I personally prefer the A2D-1 overall, but I also play more arcade than realistic.
I only got this plane because I wanted the goofy Dorito jet.

I hate that this thing is getting spammed.I cant win in axis teams with a fighter even i have 5 kills(I have no issues with the people playing this plane as a gunship after dropping the bomb)
For some reason sometimes the base only gets half damaged... Why ?
It depends on the map type, unfortunately. I believe that if there are 3 bases, they die with the 1800kg (I think), while 4 base maps need 2 1800kgs.
@@Tankenstein ja I was like damn did I just mess up. All right now I'll just drop both for two but I noticed when you bomb half if and someone bombs the rest I still get both bases.
there is different missions, for example with AF in the end you can use only one 1800kg per base
if it say in order to destroy airfield, then 1 you need 1, or else you need 2, you can also tell by does it show up individually or together

turnfight, put fires off, nockout pilots at 1.50km and its more fastest planes on 6.3 you cant catch it with the f8f1b at 650+kmh
and even if you try to dodge bullets you can its a deadly spray
