number 3 is for small and normal sized people, as a 2 meter guy i make sure i get a seat at the aisle or the fire exit and im willing to pay for it
So I consider you one of the exceptions to that one friend. You definitely need it when you've got size requirements. 😊💚
@@kellyquestions it depends on the model of the airplane but if you fly within europe and not using legacy airlines, those flights usually have no legroom for people like me, so it can be rough sitting at the window. i cant speak for american airlines tho
@jimmyjohnson3955 For the 2 meter society, the legroom is still an issue with American carriers too friend. One day (hopefully not just in my dreams, lol!) they'll make the seats wider and farther apart. 😊🤞🏾
Most people aren't travelers, they are tourists. Just be what you are. Why do people try to 'fit in' when they are not ever going to? Don't book every minute, jet lag will overpower that. Get the local currency, it really helps. Show respect and learn hello and please in the language of your destination.
I pay for seats for my wife and I because we want to be on the aisle. We hate asking people to stand up to go to the bathroom and I tend to go a lot. lol. I think first class is only worth it for flights to Europe and Asia (if you can afford it)!

Arriving airport early make sense if you have lounge. You can work, have a meal and relax before your flight.
Without lounge i have experienced the ones arriving 1,5 hours before their flight did not make it since the queue for check-in was 1 hour. Kiosk was not available.
So traveling while working is a bit of a different experience. And some things make sense when you're traveling for business that don't make sense when you're traveling for luxury friend. 💚
There are, of course, so many exceptions to these, even for seasoned travelers. If you prefer a certain area of the plane, like I do, I pay extra for my seat (transatlantic). If it's bad weather or the city you're in just had a Taylor Swift concert, you'd probably better head out really early for the airport because the traffic can be insane. 😊

Also - expecting US dollar to be the currency everywhere. Be respectful and use local currency or credit card.

People from many countries do this. They go for what's familiar. I've seen people from many countries go to KFC in China.

I disagree with you for number 3. Some people like having certain seats that would make them feel comfortable. I’m on the bigger side and don’t like the window or middle seats. I also like being closer to the bathroom, so I don’t have to make this long commute if I have to go a lot.
In my opinion paying for a seat on a plane don’t mean your a new traveler, many people do it, it’s all about preference.
And for number 5 it really depends on the airport you’re going to, traffic, and the time of your flight. Some airports are very busy at certain peak times.
And some people like giving themselves enough time to get through TSA, security, and get food if needed.

Yes! Learning a few basic phrases in other languages goes a long way. And asking "excuse me, do you speak English?" instead of assuming, please!

First class? More room, but that's no guarantee that you're not going to be pestered by a non-stop talker next to you the ENTIRE TRIP🤣
I have a friend who swears by the ear buds trick for this, friend! 💚 Apparently if you pop in ear buds people are less likely to talk to you. Have you had any luck with that too? 😊
Have to disagree on the seat selection. If you're claustrophobic but have to fly regularly it can be really important to get a window seat, otherwise you can look kind of like a demented Chihuahua after 3 hours stuck in a middle seat.
