I recently added Rokblokz mudflaps to my 2023 Bronco Black Diamond. I like how they mount, but they do not provide long enough screws to properly assemble the front flaps. Rokblok has added a metal plate to stiffen the assembly on the front plates, but did not update the screw lengths to accommodate the thicker stack of material. The provided 1/2" long 10-24 barely engage one thread on the holes which go through the metal stiffening plate. I ordered 9/16" 10-24 screws to assemble these properly, and this fit well. I made Rokblokz aware of this problem and their response was: "Thanks...but we know what we are doing." Not a great response, especially given the cost. Good engineering practice we teach at Caltech is that screws should engage 1.5 screw diameter. For a #10 screw, (0.190" dia.), this means the screw should thread in 0.285", which is 7 turns.
I totally agree everything is perfectly fine but those screws need to be slightly longer in the stack I know the material crushes as you tighten but should use correct engineering methods.
Just got mine on yesterday. Front and Rear XL flaps for Sasquatch. They are well made, and look good, but man, the assembly and install was a huge PITA. This video was definitely helpful. A couple of pointers: The thumb screws come in 2 different lengths and you need the longer ones for the rear (I mixed mine up the first time). Also, don't tighten the rear brackets all the way until you make sure you can get the mud flap on. You may have to adjust it, and you can avoid having to loosen the bolts and re-tighten them again like I did. I'm glad I have these mud flaps. For the price, I think they should come more pre-assembled.
Just installed these. Fit great with no install issues. If you are wanting to keep the road spray off the sides of your door and the actual door handles this is it. Drove home from picking up a new Bronco and there were all ready rock pits on the lower door quarters from the 120 mile drive home. Yeah, they are expensive but so was the new vehicle. Big selling point is they come off easily for trail trips.
Just put mine on. Was fairly easy aside from my body mount on the back passenger side being off center. Loosened it and popped the mount on. One tip on the front, turn your wheels to help whichever side your working on, at lesst it helped me.
Just finished installing mine, I ordered the XL for my Big Bend w/o Sasquatch with 33's . I decided to rotate my tires as well, not necessary but I gave me a bit more room to get at the intrusion bar. The wheel well liner needed to be manipulated a bit but a straight forward install. It comes together nicely. excellent materials solid protection with the option to remove when 4x4ing. two pats and a thumbs up!
I will say to make install on the front easier, remove your fenders and turn the wheel to the far right when installing the front drivers side flap, and the far left when installing the front passenger side flap. That should give you some more room.
Just put on the fronts. Sas pack so I got the XL. Ez enough install , wish the hardware was black to match the flaps. Seem like they should do a good job rock deflecting and they are not cheap plastic like I got from another company.
Do yourself a favor and pre-install the flap to the bracket on the front and rear, you will save a ton of time. With the rear, don't tighten the wo hex bolts all the way so you can make lateral adjustments then tighten in desired position. Installed the fronts in the dealer lot for the 800 mile trip home in a few minutes. Not a single chip! Did the rears once home. I did a permanent install on both front and rear. I've got a pair on my F-150 Raptor as well- convince me to do the same on the new Bronco.
I am going to put myself out there. I tried to install the fronts and they rub at full lock right and left! What am I missing! I have a Badlandads with a 3” IKON lift with BFG KO2 35s.
I need two clips. I put them on backwards and broke them in attempt to remove them. Can I order two replacement clipsAlso the 2023 Badlands with SAS must have some slight modifications because the splash guard and whatever is behind it is protruding out and obstructs placing the bracket on the crash bar mount.

How many times does this guy say "we're going to go ahead" during this video? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Appreciate the tip, helped a lot
Did anyone else get smarties (candy) in their shipment?
I did 😄
Mine came with a free condom.
@@tomrowin504 yep!!!
Yep
Yep!
So nice I installed them twice! (Because I left them on while rock crawling and destroyed them)

So glad they could help protect your new beast!
Got mine on today so far so good
Only issue I ran into was 1 flange nut on 2 of the flaps rounded out the inner plastic of the flap…so I could not fully tighten down those 2 screws
Talkin bout mudflaps my bronc’s got em

mine did not fit with 37 12.50 have a 2.5 inch lift but fronts did not clear didnt even dare leave the front mount on tire hit it when turning
Does your white color match the white of the bronco?
Will these work on a Base with stock tires and Ford OEM sidesteps (not rock rails, not tube steps)?

I am sorry for not seeing this sooner, but if you still need parts please email us at support@rokblokz.com
What's going on here? I bought these flaps but have not installed them yet. Is there a modification I need now?
No modding needed. I just installed mine. Super easy. No drilling or anything.
Who makes the rear bumper. the one in the photo
I am sorry but that wasnt our Bronco so I dont have a build list.
Yo, repping XenoGears!
Noticed that too! The man has good taste!
35-40 Foot pounds seems kinda light, it's not even one 1 PSI
30ft-lb torque = over 2 tons of clamping
Why would you spend over $500 for a set of Mud Flaps? Insane
This video sucks... you skipped mulitple steps ..
