    Your videos are a treasure trove of knowledge! I recently purchased a camper trailer that had previous water damage. I parked it on my property and neglected it for a year and then had CRAZY water damage. from a bad skylight. I repaired all of that but now I wish I would have replaced the whole roof membrane like you did. But I was making a lot up as I went along. Your videos are perfect and show me how much easier RV repairs are than I thought. I'm going to go binge you videos now. Thanks for documenting your journey!

    Good to see you back Heather, I was beginning to wonder....
    When you've finished the renovation videos could you add a final one summarising the total time and material costs you put into this beautiful renovation, including the earlier waterproofing and structural repairs (and the initial camper purchase price if you don't mind). Many thanks. Alan Redhouse

    Glad to see you and thank you for showing how you did the shower. I plan on taking out the bath tube out and putting a shower in

      Should be a very simple process, just make sure you get the right or left hand drain shower pan

    Do you have a video on how you handled the bathroom flooring and if you ended up having to remove the cabinet? I'm in this exact situation and I'm wondering how you handled it? Thank you so much for the videos!!!!

    Completely love your series! I am doing the same thing to a toy hauler. Almost identical to what you are. I did have a question though. I know that you’re not supposed to combine PVC and ABS pipe together with PVC sealant. Have you had any issues out of it Separating and cracking yet? Thanks :-)

      Great question-I’m not going to pretend that I’m a licensed plumber here and know it all. It’s never crossed my mind to use a different cement, but out of the almost 4 years I’ve been renovating, none of my clients have called with plumbing issues. Could definitely use ABS to PVC transition cement instead though.

    nice job on the shower. Im wondering if you put any trim on the wall panels around the window frames? Thats what Im working on now,

    • @fallenintocamping
      @fallenintocamping  9 місяців тому +1

      I didn’t, I just tried to make a straight even cut around the window. The top part is eventually covered by the window shade I built, but I ended up taping the edge of the window and painting the brownish part of the panel that you can still see and it blended in pretty good

    For the shower pan do you just screw that into the walls or did you glue it? We are replacing one now

    • @fallenintocamping
      @fallenintocamping  4 місяці тому

      Just screw it into the walls using the lip on the top of the pan
