I like the one that you remove all the plastic from under the backseats to give you more storage and keep your back seats in place.
The Victory 4x4 one is like this. Molle panels on the front as well and you keep the seats. But having the seats still is a different use purpose than having a seat delete.
That's a good idea, we will look into it.
Just got a 2024 Colorado trail boss - am excited you came out with a seat delete for it - like the other comments I’d like to see ideas on eliminating the plastic seat base and the rest under the seat for more room
Biggest thing for me watching the video was that there was no finishing piece on top of the back where the headrests were to close in that space.
victory 4x4 make a really cool under rear seat storage for 3rd gen Colorado/canyon. Kind of pointless putting this on top but while installing you can take out that plastic seat base pretty easily. Wish they did that on this delete and lowered it more.
@@woadshaman it’s because $2000 freaking dollars is just not enough to give you a finishing piece…
This is exactly what I was looking for! My only complaint is the factory molded bin is horribly inefficient for maximizing storage space under there, someone needs to make an replacement that works with your backseat delete.
We like the input. I will look into what it would take to replace it.
@@goosegear looking forward to seeing/hearing an update on that on the channel or website. Getting ready to order my Canyon and this is the solution I’ve been looking for to have comfortable space for my German shepherd service dog or for gear on weekend camping trips.
Looks great! Any plans for a cap for the back window peice?
Not at the moment but thank you for the feedback, we will relay to the design team.
@@goosegearthat’s really disappointing. That open top makes such a nice product look half assed and cheap. A cap would be a game changer.
Agreed 100%. It looks so good and well thought out except for the unfinished top. I definitely needs some kind of a cap on it. I would look at other options as a result.
@@stabor1122 We are looking into it now. If we do develop a cap for it, we would send it out to anyone that has already purchased a unit. I hate it when an upgrade comes out after you buy an expensive item. @okanaganoverlanding2919 fyi

This is amazing, I was just trying to think of a solution for this! Might need an option for a car seat attachments on the 40% side…thoughts? 😄
Car Seats have not been crash tested on seat deletes, so it is our reccomendation you keep the seats of you need a car seat. This new generation only comes in 100% delete.
Wohoooo I’m buyin this !
Woohoo!
What kind of tonneau cover do you have on the truck?
anything coming up for the silverado?
Not at the moment, but please convey your interest here: www.goose-gear.com/pages/goose-gear-vehicle-suggestion
Why not just use the bed for the fridge?
Convenience, shielded from the elements. If you have a topper or camper, then yes of course. The seat delete could be used for storage, platform for pets, etc.
2k dollars for "industrial grade plywood" is WILD.
What is the gain in space? This seems like a tremendous cost and amount of work for what must me a minor increase in storage space. And complete loss of any chance you can safely have more than one passenger. I'm just trying to understand. We have the truck bed right? Oh, and you can lay the seat back as far either if you ever want to catch some zees in the cab? So bizarre.
You don't have to get it. Some people want to store boxes etc behind their seat. This also gives you good options to mount gear in a safe way. I do like it because my dogs can lie in the back flat without falling down. But I can also but cargo in there and transport it safely. Oh and I like the small lockable storage.
If you don't like it and you (think) can do it with the seats mounted, go ahead no one stops you. But many people out there like this option and appreciate the guided videos.
Cant understand how/why 3 pieces of wood cost $2000... Insane...
We understand where you're coming from. It's just plywood. 10 pieces to be exact. 10 pieces of custom aluminum extrusion that is 26% lighter than 80/20. 16 Custom made brackets to secure the parts to the vehicle. 4 all metal latches. Custom made hardware installation kit so that all of the exposed parts are black, since our customers request it that way. Several days of Research and Development, hundreds of dollars in test cutting materials. And, the crazy part, we make it all here in beautiful Colorado with machines and real humans that prefer to work for a paycheck, with benefits. I am not trying to be a jerk, and I will certainly get yelled at by my team of incredible and dedicated humans for even replying. But this is not for me, it is for my team that works very hard to make sure we produce the best possible product they can. They are awesome, none of us are perfect, but the entire team works endlessly to improve and that is all I can ask for.

@@goosegear since we are all being honest here give all of us customers who bust their ass for our hard earned cash what your mark ups really are. Even with salaries for your wonderful employees and all your aforementioned pieces and parts, it’s a production house after all, and out the door you’re probably pocketing 35% or more. So go get in your AMG G Wagon and drive to work so you can continue to bend us over.
@@thejason51873are you wining to every company? You don’t have to buy it. 🤷♂️
I like the concept. Others mentioned removing the factory underseat plastic cover.
I think there could be pieces to finish out the top of the back section to to the rear glass to finish it out...[saw this has already been mentioned].
Also thinking doors on the back panels to access the space there. Granted there's not a lot of room, but every cubic foot is useful. Maybe add some flush fit tie down points on the back and bottom sections at the corners and middle to facilitate lashing down gear, etc.
I can appreciate the quality workmanship put into this kit. It looks very well made.
Thanks for the effort!
@@thejason51873I mean u could just not even commented. It’s not like you would buy this product anyway, even if it was. 50% cheaper. If you don’t like these prices, go make a company and produce a better and cheaper product. That’s what free markets allow you to do. Never seen a comment so vindictive and spiteful as yours, especially after a very nice response from the owner.
