What do you think of the exhaust crackles?! Best thing EVER?
Yeah and the fact that a 5-cylinder engine kinda sounds like a V10 ;-)

Supercars of London I feel the engine has a great sound but the crackles aren't as good as the A45! :P
***** LOL yes because the shit A45 needs an electronic sound generator to generate such sounds :-))
Teslalabor I don't know if there is a sound generator, but the sound of the a45 (with the sport exhaust) is more artificial than this one
Paul this may seem a bit random and I don't even know if you'll read this, but just from watching your daily vlogs and a few of your other videos, you seem like one of the nicest, most down to earth people I've ever met. Your mannerism makes me want to be you- the way I haven't heard you swear in any of your videos, and just the random acts of kindness just commands respect from everyone you meet and everyone that watches your videos. Then there's your general approach to life- the way you have a passion which you dedicate your life to by working hard every day when others your age spend their years partying is just truly inspiring.
I wish you every success for the future, and I know as a matter of fact, you WILL one day become one of the big boys with the LaFerraris and P1s sitting in your driveway!

And just like you I hope to see Paul winning more and more in life, because he's making the difference in our generation, he didn't follow the crowd, he started to do what he loved most and built a career on that. Yeezy Yeezy exactly in his success stories interview , he said instead of going out to his friends he went to London alone and filmed cars, his friends thaught he played video games all day but he didn't care and kept at it , now look where he is !!! All his old friends are probably unhealthy and working shitty 9-5 jobs ;)

Kaisuke971 I know it's a 5-pot, but since when do they sound like V10s? :D
+lobniklukas. They've always did dude. Inline 5 has V10 note just like 4 banger (Especially high revving NA) can have Flatplane V8 (try a 458, it does have an intake sound similar to an Inline 4) sound, and Inline 3 (BMW) can have inline 6 sound.
Oh and somehow Inline 6 can have V12 sound too (599 GTB/ M3 E46 sound alike)

Why aren't more cars using a 5cylinder engine? It sounds so good, reminds me of a rally car

Just freaking nice the exhaust sound... Not to mention the package: small car, insane, well made, Quattro, brutally fast, brilliant interior, grip, acceleration, seats - everything is just nice ... Tks AUDI for putting a smile and contributing to people like us who really like cars...
It's so subtle looking,, just minor modifications that a car enthusiast would spot, but it's hiding this crazy deranged nutcase of an engine. If there was ever a car that resembled Jekyll and Hyde, it's this one.

Pretty sure the V8 R8 does 60 in 4.8. This is 4.3 lol
gig2night It actually is way faster, and maybe even funnier due to the fact that's it's a smaller car.
Jack Wheatley No it was 4.6sec on the R8 V8 thats 0-62mph but yes the Rs3 does is in 4.3sec while BMW M6 and M5 does it in 4.2sec so thats really close to those two but this is just a 2.5L small hatch . This Rs3 impresses me and it makes me wonder what would be 0-62mph of the upcoming Audi Rs5 or TT RS

And forget the RS5 the old one did nothing against E92 and W204. Seeing how good F82 and W205 are (well, will be for the C63 Coupe) i don't see how could they beat BMW and Mercedes. Even if the RS5 came out after both C63 and M3, it was still not quite as fast. Same goes for the current RS4.

After watching the blog on the RS3. I actually test drove it and its mental. loved everything about it .
RS3 is coming to USA, with manual trans and Hatch. Spoke with my local dealer who confirmed it with me.

I just drove this car last week in Australia where the optional exhaust is standard here. The car is insanity fast and the sound is awesome. The interior is basic looking but is of high quality and a pleasant place to be in. Too bad it doesn't come in sedan. I'm Test driving the S3 soon, but will be hard to be impressed after driving the SR3.
Love the Audi RS3. You need a camcorder with image stabilization though.

that new RS3 is just awesome, I have been driving 2015th seat leon cupra which was great, but that audi looks so much better, cheers ;d
I am a die hard BMW fan, and my family have been specialists in the German salvage car trade for over 15 years so you can imagine the cars that i have worked on & drove. My opinion may differ to others since we work on alot of high end cars, so i try to compare the top cars of that model for example an M4 - RS4, M5 - RS5/6 etc. Theres no better cars in my opinion than the M3 M4 M5 M6 but Audi are bringing out some great cars, the only disappointment i have is that the drive-train is not as responding as the BMW's, I currently have an M135i (M//Performance) sitting at my garage and an RS3 (2012), and they are both good drives i just think audis S3 line is better than the 1 series line but not the 3 series line. But hopefully in the future we will look out for an RS3 2015 and see if there is any improvements in the drivetrain, I already know the likes of Audi and Mercedes can produce power but its about how they distribute that power back into the hands of the driver. & I know I might get a lot of hate mail saying why am i comparing the RS3 to M135i -M1 thats because I believe the RS3 is not in M3 league and thats a fact from someone who has not only test drove these cars but have actually owned them for 6 months to a year and then sold them on.
***** Well sir you may feel that but my honest and open opinion is that BMW driving wise are better then Audis. However im not knocking the RS4 5 or 6 they are monsters but personally from my experience I feel as if BMW have the upper hand.

you drove both the RS3 and the 2016 A45 amg , what are your thoughts on them ? give us like a comparison , obviously no matter what a person would choose one over an other , it's a personal choice but feelings aside , which one is better ?

Great video, was the hill climb Shelsley Walsh? as live quite close and looked familiar. Also was looking to change car later this year currently run a Nissan 370Z Roadster great fun but this RS3 is on another level or two! think might go for this next was looking at the New Ford Mustang GT V8 but not sure thoughts?

I'm not too far with my S3; 7hp and one cylinder less but that makes all the difference! The sound of the five cylinder is awesome
WiZe1972 Well just remap it so it would be as quick as the rs3. If your worried about warranty use a tuning box you can remove it with no trace left on the ecu
It has ABT stage 1 with 60hp... I should take APR direct intake and exhaust to fill the gap
