Excellent brief description (despite mispronouncing the "I" of I Ching). I have practiced yarrow stick oracle for forty years, and am continually impressed with the wisdom imparted in dealing with everyday situations. I don't seek to know the future as this is not necessarily its purpose, but the meditative aspect of the yarrow oracle and the lesson that comes through the practice all come together in helping one live harmoniously in a conflicted and struggling world. This isn't a "power of positive thinking" kind of thing that will turn your reality into a rose garden. Instead it's an understanding the things change and here are understandings that help one move with the changes.
Make a video on yarrow stalk method. I do coins because it's easy and understandable.

That was a great explanation! Very concise, and yet, you covered everything. I've been reading the I Ching for years, and it has been so meaningful for me.
The 2017 total solar eclipse intersected the region of hopkinsville for the longest duration which is where the famed mystic Edgar Cayce was born, and what is even more incredible to me is that it was determined that the I ching is a lunar calendar related to our DNA structure. 64 hexagramsx6=384 days which is a lunar year. Edgar Cayce lived 67 years which is the number of (365day) years that results when 384 x 64 is calculated. there is also a lunar Shrine in Southern Illinois built by Native Americans named Emerald mound in the town of Lebanon which also was intersected by the 2017 total solar eclipse.

My husband read and studied it, did it for a couple of years. He says it is true, but you have to do what it says or why bother. He would rather walk into his future than check with the book. I think it must help get you in touch with your inner knowledge.

Instead of time and history being cyclical think about this, could time and history flow in a spiral? Consider the rotation of the Milky Way galaxy, and other galaxies for that matter. Just a something to think about.

The diagram you showed for the core interpretation map is the vertex of a pentachoron. This allows for the understanding of the connected tesseract lattices that form the threaded framework of creation. There's much, much more, and this is but one tiny facet; however, it is a great start.

The book of changes(i-ching ) reveals that the basic arithmetic of the universe is binary.
The binary system is represented by 0 and 1.
You can't go back in time in three dimensions. Just like Einstein's theory of relativity.

Mike, your pronunciation is wrong. It's not I-Ching. The "I" in "I-Ching" is pronounced as "Yi".

I was very pleased to find available around here the Shinto Hietsuki Bushi, performed by the Noday family; got to thinking about the phenomenon of Terrestrial Mansions. 64 is a perfect number to interpret, for this- the such mansions can be represented by Eight Trigrams with Eight Longitutde lines; similarly for Latitude ones- e.g., for Japan, the longitudinal would probably correspond to trigram Sunh, The Gentle; the latitudinal to Chien, Heaven or Father. For China, Sunh and K'un, the Receptive or Aerth. The Hexagrams Hampering (traditionally Taming Power of the Small), and Contemplation are very meaningful to interpret from the two trigrams of each. These 64 represent the Wisdom divinities or Saphaeiahs of the regions, which are for both the Parenter Type religions, and also the Animism or Paganism, which was often called by the name of the local Parenter religion (e.g., the I Ching, technically of Animism); the first 33 old aeons were all Parenter Type ones. For Japan, Ipon Gaura. the Saphaeiah; China, Durga; for India, Nudimud, or Nemed (in Celtic, also Sir'za), etc.... The Old Aeon order of the 8 trigrams changed somewhat for the New Aeon- from N to NW, Later Heaven became K'an, Chen, T'ui, Sunh, Li, K'un, Ken, Chien, their Primal World corresponding trigram moving with them, also...

I used to use the I Ching when I was a teenager. Pretty interesting.
This book maybe more significant than just in china. it's been in ancient Egypt and Jerusalem. Ancient walls and structures are built in Triagram patterns. The coins represent blood, sweat and tears. when toss on your birthday, three seperate times, for a total of 18 tosses. Than you will be granted three fortune(one for one of the three years).
Also cards and tarot cards where used in other years. Divinity and math where some of the highest forms of education,
It does involve alot of research and experience. Especially in a world like this, it's an enigma.

The Yi Jing is also widely used in Chinese medicine.
As 7:50 you show 3 sets of 3 coins. There is a challenges I have with this frame. The Challenge is that on the Top and the Middle line of coins you refer to the plant side of the coins as Tails, on the Bottom line you refer to the side of the coin with the #1 on it as Tails. It can't be both.
This ancient book work entitled "I-jing" is also entitled "ZHOU-I-jing". That it is translated with "The Book Of Changes" implicates a tautology: we all are "travelling on the TIME axes from our birth to our death (if we want it or not want it); thus everything and everyone IS INDEED CHANGING continuously. Its author was the wise ancient scholar "WEN wang" (BC1231-1135), having lived during the SHANG dynasty for almost a century life time span (at least age 95 at his time of death -for that time amazing long life span)! -Already C0NFUCIUS had studied regularly in it... ("I-jing" was the literature for study for C0NFUCIUS)! -I myself did buy three bilingual versions of "I-jing" in Shanghai during my residing period in summer 2012. Unfortunately these and other studied books like "The History Of TAOISM" (bilingual) were lost (!) [my last resident CITADINES on PUDONG (Hong-Feng 450) let all my stored luggage disappear contrary to their statement to keep it until my return five years later: 2018] after my necessary journey to Europe (for selling my summer house in N0-WAY for financing my young HAN-Chinese family with two superior boys for the next decade) and surprising denial of return to very own HOME&FAMILY since this Government started its first term in March 2013!!! -P0SITIVE! It doesn't predict the future, it tells you the best way to choose so it is a way to guide you..
It is because you dont know much about it. It has a higher version much more complicated than basic book of change in english version. Vietnamese people are very good at using higher version. It can read the past and tell the future.

One way to translate "Ching" is "Classic." The two are sometimes roughly translated as "The Classic of Changes" and "The Classic of the Way of Virtue."
I use the I Ching as a divinatory tool when I need some insight from a spiritual realm.
The Tao Te Ching is perhaps the most profound and greatest book in the world. It's a very small book and contains short passages which are nonsensical to our minds at times and must be meditated on/contemplated to gain insight and wisdom. Eckhart Toller carried a copy around for over 20 years. Dr Wayne Dyer spent 4 days meditating on each passage or page and then wrote a book about it. They are related as they have the idea of yin/yang at its center .... Taoism.

Thank You for this presentation about "YI JING". Here is my experience: I did purchase three bilingual (Mandarin-English) "YI JING" in SHANGhai in the year 2012. Then I was reading and studying it during our staying period in SHANGhai while waiting for the German documents (passport with citizenship) of my then only three years young beloved son "L0HENGRIN" -the whole summer until the middle of October even, in total four months! -Now, five years later, all my own owned books (about 800) in three locations (SHANGhai and BERGEN[N0-WAY] and FREISING{BAVARIA}) have disappeared (!) and my beloved young, intelligent, talented and already knowledge acquired (from both "LUN YU" and "DAO DE JING" and "GU LAN JING" as well as "SUN-NAH JING") son L0HENGRIN was thrice violently seperated from me by corrupted Spanish state servants as evil PL0T during our holiday in the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria owned top hotel "SANTA CATALINA" since date 22/05/15. mathod : flip three coins randomly six times in bottle. Look at the heads and tails of the coins. So you get a state of space time.This space-time state is represented by a graph.This binary graph goes through a binary operation to get another binary graph. It shows you a binary map of your future.Then we can predict the future according to the statements in the book of changes. In China, this is called the "six lines".
And the "Ching" is pronounced as Jing. The modern Chinese PRC Romanization is more suitable--"Yi Jing".
Same problem with the mispronounciation of "Tai Chi"...leading folks to mistakenly think the name relates to the "Chi" in Acupuncture etc. WRONG! Tai Chi should be pronounced as "Tai Ji". "Ji"...as in Bei Ji...and Nan Ji...North Pole and South Pole.
