if you’re watching this and it doesn’t work, what ended up working for me was putting the nut back on so it’s on the shaft but not up against the wheel. then whack the shaft with a hammer. you’re supposed to use some leverage on the wheel too so it’s being pressured in the opposite direction but it came loose without that. the guy at the marina said it was to “shock” the corroded parts loose 🤷♂️

@@tomspontoons Mine has been soaking for 3 years, I peck on it and give it hell from time to time, no key and not coming off. One day I will probably get destructive with it. I have even called it's mama all kinds of names, still no go.

Gotta let it soak in PB blaster a little longer and keep working it. If you can tap on the key with a punch it can help a ton.
