I just heard that the step daughter of a VERY famous lead guitarist committed suicide a couple weeks ago. She was 25 years old. He calls her stepdaughter . It’s true about the energy, vibe & environments we are in having either light & positive energy & way of life & health or dark themed depressing, angry, horror obsessed environment… I’m not point fingers just bringing awareness. Both this VERY famous guitarist & his girlfriend of many years, she’s not actually legally officially his wife, anyway, they are obsessed with everything horror themed. Horror movies, cartoon horror porn which is disgusting & they both often posted it on their Instagram accounts. Fans would often say what’s wrong with you, this is disgusting & not actually funny. It’s very sad. What we are around has energy it’s either good or bad. It either lifts us up or brings us way down.

Ive lost about 15 or so friends and my nephew to fentanyl poisoning. They all thought fentanyl was just a hoax. My nephew told me i didn't know what l was talking about. It's just sad at this point how destructive these drugs are. Now tranq is a problem. You can't just do the casual line at the club,it may be your last. Also like you l was a pawn broker. I saw a lot of my customers die from fentanyl.
Brad, to be clear the Farm Bill legalizes CBD with less than 0.3% active THC. It has no psychoactive effects whatsoever and is used as an anti inflammatory. You may be referring to Delta 8 THC which mimics the effects of marijuana and is unregulated. No one should use Delta 8.

I'm a native Nashvillian from way back in the 80s and I've buried friends and family due to fatal overdoses. I'd like to also say that I don't recognize this city any longer. It's not even remotely like it was when I was a kid and young adult. Look I know things change but this change was so fast and so drastic. I'm selling my house and getting out of here like basically everyone else I know did ten years ago. The violent crime is out of control, especially where I live. Antioch. Think I'm headed for the hills. Likely Oak Ridge or maybe Chattanooga, although from what I understand it's starting the same change Nashville went through.
While doctor prescribed (had a lumbar fusion), the fentanyl still makes me nervous. If one of my patches gets damaged while I'm wearing it, I'm in serious trouble. More than a lethal dose in each. I've smoked on and off since age 17 and am 40 now, both medical and rec. My personal rule of thumb is that I don't buy ANYTHING from the streets. Certified caregiver or dispensary only.

My wife was shopping at Kroger's in Nashville saw a woman wobbling around and then she went down. My wife was trying to keep her awake while the store manager called 911. Long story short, they hit her with Narcan and she came around. She was doing blow that she thought was good but it was laced with fentanyl. You can't trust anyone, please don't do this if you are visiting Nashville! Thanks Brad, this is important.
16 years sober and 14 clean of everything on top of it brother..cold turkey and it nearly killed me..never looked back..best thing I ever did for myself...I'm far too wild..I just smoke my weed and that's what I use for pain control for multiple chronic conditions..
Lost two friends just this past year who liked candy for their sinuses because the person they regularly shopped at wasn't available so they bought at another unknown store and by the end of the night both were dead I'm lucky to have cleaned up years ago but have enough friends that wont that tell them all if they aren't going to stop then never use a source other than the one you've been using for years. Here, you see a lot of haschish and used to see some grass, when it was the season, but now, it's all around the year, and it comes from countries from the East. Hi Brad, What you are talking about comes from a real marijuana plant. Plants are cultivated and picked when a substance called thc-a which is the precursor to the substance that gets one high, thc 9. When the thca is burned, it turns into thc delta9 which gets a person high.
I’m sober and work in recovery. There are worse substances out there unfortunately. Some narcan won’t reverse. They are putting it in all substances. It’s sad and will only get worse.
As someone who was involved with the "substance distribution" industry many decades ago, I have a hard time understanding the thought process of dealers or those that supply them anywhere up the distribution chain, providing a product that's going to kill your customers, at least potentially immediately. It doesn't make business sense. If there is something going on that is intentionally designed to kill those that use those drugs, wow, how scary is that?

Like 20 years ago my uncle came to visit me. Old hippy guy. He got something from a head shop on his way to visit. I think it was like a gram package of this stuff. Some fake weed thing that was legal at the time as it takes years to pass laws on desinger drugs. I think the package said SPITZ. I tried it. 2 puffs....OMG...That was it for me. My experimental days ended with those 2 puffs. I almost died. I could not stand or breath for half an hour.... I rarely drink tea or coffee anymore. Caffeine gives me a mild panic attack and stomach acid sometimes. I feel bad for kids now. The crap that is out there is unbelievable. Here in New Mexico there was a drug going around a few years ago that kids called coffin pills. The reason is in the name.
Sad that Prince died of a fentanyl overdose …. It’s not over here in the UK but drugs took hold of Amy Winehouse and just like Michael Jackson , Whitney and Prince …. It doesn’t matter how famous you are.

That is not true! Fentanyl was developed by Dr Paul Janssen from Belgium in 1959. His company merged with Johnson & Johnson in 1962. It is used in medicine all over the world daily. It may be manufactured in China in large quantities but make no mistake they did not invent it.
When I lived there, the Dean of my school told us that Dickerson Rd was nothing but trouble. One day around 4 pm my roommate and I were heading to work. We took Dickerson as a short cut. A hooker tried to climb through the window. She also said she had every drug we could want. I pushed here back and we took off. I have never seen anything like that.
Our value system as a whole sure has changed over the last 40 years. I'm totally out of that scene now, but when I was younger you only had to worry about getting something that was bunk but never something that would kill you. And Yes, I have heard of fentanyl being laced in "trees" now. Why would you want to kill your customer. I don't think you are off-base with the "grand conspiracy" thinking at all...
I thank The Good Lord that for the 30 years I have been a professional musician, I never touched any illegal drugs. It is easy to get it here too but I am spared.
I talked to a guy in a guitar shop in my area who was our/your age and had hair like yours mainly due to his Lebanese ancestry. The interwebs are full of cheap shot projections onto others so don't sweat "the comments." In my area guys are largely beard clones. I choose to stay clean shaven, although I refuse to go grey. But that is purely my business. As for alcohol and other things, a waste of time and money and a destroyer of lives. A former colleague of mine asked why I thought there were fewer noticeable addicts on the streets in our city this year, I answered that probably enough have died that its a noticeable difference.

Our value system as a whole sure has changed over the last 40 years. I'm totally out of that scene now, but when I was younger you only had to worry about getting something that was bunk but never something that would kill you. And Yes, I have heard of fentanyl being laced in "trees" now. Why would you want to kill your customer. I don't think you are off-base with the "grand conspiracy" thinking at all...

I thank The Good Lord that for the 30 years I have been a professional musician, I never touched any illegal drugs. It is easy to get it here too but I am spared.

I talked to a guy in a guitar shop in my area who was our/your age and had hair like yours mainly due to his Lebanese ancestry. The interwebs are full of cheap shot projections onto others so don't sweat "the comments." In my area guys are largely beard clones. I choose to stay clean shaven, although I refuse to go grey. But that is purely my business. As for alcohol and other things, a waste of time and money and a destroyer of lives. A former colleague of mine asked why I thought there were fewer noticeable addicts on the streets in our city this year, I answered that probably enough have died that its a noticeable difference.

We've already been doing that for many years lol The South likes holding on to bad ideas for dear life. There were holdouts on the alcohol thing into the 60s(and dry counties are still a thing). And let's face it alcohol is far worse in pretty much every way.
