One time I picked up one of the wandering NPCs who is always fighting a Bokoblin, and flew him up to the sky islands near the Water Temple. Unfortunately, he wouldn't fight the constructs up there and just froze up. Sometimes it feels like Nintendo *didn't* want Link to transport NPCs all over Hyrule, but that's just crazy!
I'm pretty sure most things break if you take them to a level there not supposed to be on. Because Horses (and apparently NPCs) stop doing anything one they go to the depths or sky.
LMAOOOO shout out to the orchestra that was blastin' like HELL to make the largest... yet quietest battle a little less ~awkward~ oh my it felt so intimate with all twenty troops just silently battling their hearts out making the Lionel sound like super embarrassing when he made any sound at all... Yknow something interesting? Theres an NPC on Eventide (hes part of the MCC) that rewards you with a Blue Lynel Saber Horn for completing the islands quest. Gives you an idea of how capable the Monster Control Crew CAN be. I can just imagine they took some casualties.
I don't remember well but wasn't he saying something like he just found this horn somewhere? Anyway I also think that in terms of ingame world NPC warriors can do a lot more than they're doing when Link is there
Hey, thorny! It's Pippi! Remember me? I suggested monster airlines. Awesome game show! The next thing I think you should do is make a gleeok fight a talus with muddle buds! it really works.
@@ThornyFox IIRC muddle buds don't work on Gleeoks. You have to get the Gleeok to not see you for it to fight the Talus. They're very reluctant to fight and don't quite know what to do though, so it'll really just amount to the Talus pelting rocks at a stationary Gleeok until the Gleeok notices you.
Been watching your videos for almost a month now, and I really admire the work you put into it. Not only you enjoy making these videos but you also turn our days enjoyable by watching your adventures.
Getting twelve people on a flying machine is as impressive as anything else that happens along the way… I’m not sure how long you worked on that…but thank you. Your video shows possibilities that I didn’t know existed. I am grateful….Tom
Once again, watching you GET the NPCs there was even more exciting than the epic battle! I was actually getting hopeful for our side when I saw they were starting to do damage to the thing.
I’ve been watching your videos for about a year, and I am really glad that you are still creating high-quality videos for Zelda! Thank you so much :D Greetings from Hong Kong 🇭🇰

Amazing video! to get even more NPCs you can actually abduct travellers with weapons to reinforce your NPC army. they don't deal as much as the crew, but help to tank damage for them XD
I mean, that guy from the quest at eventide island does give you a blue lynel horn, and even says it was obtained in a monster control crew mission so it doesn't make sense that they lost

To be fair, Link is the only mutant with chosen one powers that can match Lionel’s by himself. You need an army to beat it. So that small group was too realistic to beat that Lionel.
Great video! I have a kind of unrelated question though. Do you know where to find that massive stone platform you used in that video a while back where “Link builds his own sky island”? I’m trying to find it but I can’t.
