A nearby must visit spot is Three Finger Gulch. Massive cliffs with nesting birds, caves, meadow with small stream, old rock corral. Motorcycle, quad, or 4wd needed to get there but one of the most beautiful places to see IMO.
Yah, kinda a hidden gem for sure. But certainly not the easiest place to get to which is probably why it is less visited. But very much worth the visit if you find time!
Dago Gulch is pronounced: "day-go" While fishing and hiking is done in this area in October there is a Chukar bird hunting season that lasts through November. Just recently my Dad had camped in this area over the last 50 years and it is a place where pictures do not do justice.
