      Well we have anonymous confession. You can use confession and then confess your sins to a group if you want to. I know friends who confess their struggles with me and still go to confession.

    Was Jesus tempted from within by lusts in his flesh like we are? What is your answer Dr Brant Pitre? For instance, was he tempted to lust after a woman and then had to say no everytime that happened from within him?

    Sin is the turning away from God.... this was a teaching while we grew up!!!! Is this still a teaching?
    If this is true, and we believe it is, Jesus could not sin because He is God and could not turn away from Himself !!!!

      If he couldn't sin as a man man, then maybe he couldn't have redeemed us, there are many reasons why he came as a man and conquered sin as a man like us in all things

    Dr. Brant. I have a question. Why is jesus tempted by Satan if he was fully divine being, one with the father in nature of being YAHWEH. Then I mean from the perspective of Satan who isn't like us who was the might angle of God who does know WHO and WHAT GOD is, how would he even dare to test jesus. How come an angle or demon dare to test the LORD? I seek your explanation.

    • @malrchys2095
      @malrchys2095 2 роки тому

      Maybe The Father sent satan to Jesus to tempt Jesus, in order for the author of Hebrews to show us that satan couldn’t do anything to Him. After all, the devil can do nothing, and GOD let’s the devil tempt us, therefore the devil is given authority, by GOD himself, to test us. Nothing is outside of GODs control. This is just my speculation tho.

      @@malrchys2095 which is still abit odd to reconcile with that fact that Jesus christ was THE ALMIGHTY. I mean satan is a created being. He tempted Job(a human, a created being), angles or us or anyone. He tempts any other created being. But it's far toooooo much for satan to tempts his own creator. Let's put ourselves at Satan's place, would we ever dare to tempt that ONE who we clearly that he created us. Would we? I think this Temptation story violates the absolute divinity of Christ.

    • @malrchys2095

      @@yeminhtun2543 But as I’ve said, nothing is outside of Gods control, meaning the devil still listens to God when He tells him to do something, and to deny the story is to deny the fact that the author is speaking the truth,

      @yeminhtun2543 2 роки тому

      @@malrchys2095 I don't see a problem in authorship of newtestament or old. The topic is that I'm not just convinced enough that Did early christians including those new testament writers and those readers of very early church really believed in the divinity of christ? We find no historical findings that tell us that early christians believed in the divinity of christ. I'm not here to discuss about trinity or duality or unitarianism. I'm just seeing that doctrine of Christ's divinity was never explicit till very late century like 4th 5th. Shouldn't it be prominent since at the very first century if it was the understanding of early christians? And the scripture never teaches the divinity of christ to us explicitly. All we have is our own interpretations and conceptions. Through out the letter of pauls, it's always obvious that Father alone is called "God" "Theos". For jesus it was always "Lord" "Kryos". Why he tried to differentiate if he believed they are one in nature. The debate goes on and on.

    Sin is the unconscious ( They don't know that they don't know) separation from God
    Humans believe that they are separate from God because of one's conditioning from an early age.

      Not really, sin are conscious acts, who knowing the good choose the lesser good.
      What you meant is that we as siners don't fully know who we are offending.

      What about demons? They are angels, they know the truth, they understand it but they do not want to accept it. Why? Because of pride.
      As for humans, you are kind of right, because sometimes we do not know, understand or accept the truth.

    Where does feminism fall in this theme within our time? Can we trust a system based on women empowering each other, as any other cult like group as cultural empowerment of different cultures that support each other, would there be a slippery slope entering into the feminine realm? Or is it better to follow God?

    • @annasyl12
      @annasyl12 3 роки тому +1

      But that's not what i was asking. My question has nothing to do with women being priests. You missed what i was saying.

    • @revelation12_1
      @revelation12_1 3 роки тому +2

      The problem is that what feminism is is constantly changing with the times. It is absolutely incompatible with God’s revealed truth: that men and women were created to be complementary, but complementary in their differences. Today’s world seeks to erase gender differences as if they don’t matter or are a social construct. This is an absolute lie both scientifically and spiritually. A woman’s beauty is in her femininity and in the role or vocation that God calls her to. Here is a good quote: “We are also confronting an entrenched ideology determined to wipe out all cultural recognition of the differences between men and women. In refusing to cave in to this ideology, the Church is defending the specific originality and unique vocation of women. The differences between men and women are natural and part of God's plan, not the result of oppressive, sexist, patriarchal, gender socialization. The Church is not denying women something they need, the Church is defending the right of women to be women, against the lie that women can be human only when they imitate men in all things, and against the lie that women must exercise influence in the same way as men do, or they will have no influence at all.” www.ewtn.com/catholicism/library/sacraments--authentic-womanhood-11054
