One correction at 4:31 : Taliban was not used by the US to fight Russians in Afghanistan. Peshawar Shura warlords were used for this purpose. Taliban was formed sometime around 1993, while Soviet Union war in Afghanistan ended in 1989. Taliban was raised by Pakistan, and funded by US and Saudi Arabia for other purposes. Great video though, as always! Love it!

India needs to have a naval base in the middle of the 1000 nautical mile long Red Sea (near to Port Sudan) so as to be able to reach attack spot, by its fighter aircraft (a naval base/air force wing). While India may not be affected by Crude oil shipments (that affect only Europe), her trade with Europe will suffer. As an alternative India needs to send ships around Cape of Good Hope/Capetown. This route has a few advantages over Suez/Red Sea route too. (obvious advantages over Suez/Red Sea route. Away from the choke point of Suez (where the speed can get reduced to 10 knots or less even), open sea shipping can be as speedy as 30 knots (though the obvious disadvantage is that the distance is more) Far bigger ships of very high tonnage (VLCC, ULCC & more containers per ship) is possible, that are impossible through Suez. Rather than being woeful of the disadvantages, count the blessings. In the long run, Red Sea countries will lose money heftily (Egypt will suffer the most & an already starving Yemen will want to return to normal, the shipping situation in Red Sea) & will regret their present, mindless move.
Isn’t this day dreaming? You think we have the means to project power and maintain a base there? We have 1.5 aircraft carriers and the newer one is not fully operational. We need to defend against Pakistan and China while being woefully short of air squadrons. Basically kuch bhi ….

When we are seeing piracy problem from so many years, why aren't the cargo ships getting armed security or weapons on board for protection??
shipping companies are trying to cut their expenses by not getting any guards for their ship.these are private guys.all they care about is PROFITTT!!

00:02 Red Sea War tensions may disrupt world and Indian economy
01:51 Houthi rebel group's actions in the Red Sea can lead to increased costs for Indian exporters
03:34 Houthis emerge as a group to fight against corruption in Yemen and are now being used by Iran to fight its enemies.
05:16 Houthi rebels control of Red Sea critical for world trade
07:01 The Red Sea blockage affects global trade and energy supply.
08:48 Increased shipping costs and traffic disruptions affecting Indian economy
10:22 Red Sea war disrupting shipping routes
11:59 Slowing demand from Europe will impact India's labor-intensive sectors
as an indian i condemn what ymen is doing to indian ships i care about the other isr@eli supporters even if my country at a point of time supports isr@el at the same time we sent tons of food to p@lestine, but on the other hand what yemen is doing is absolutely right what they are asking for are the pirates ?, or someone who just randomly attack ships? they have capability of doing this from a very long time they are just asking for a ceasefire in g@za hatsoff to h0uti rebels despite being one of the poorest gulf country u earned soo much respect.
India trying to generalize this saying world economy is affecting by this blockade but were nonchalantly blockading all the routes to a landlocked country (Nepal) and stopping almost 100% of imports and exports in several timeline throughout the history.
This blockade seems reasonable, as their demands are directly related to human lives in Gaza. This is totally justified!!
Loved it. Thanks
Great video and absolutely top notch research Ganesh and team.
But I think we missed the part "What India is doing to secure our business" this time.
Question: How the korean war will be more disastrous for world economy
Valuable information ❤
One of the most interesting episodes ngl.
Love it!
You're also product of Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤😂
Well Explained bro 🙌❣️
I got a valuable information through this video
Make a video on great wilders
If things get worse around the Red Sea, India can always join the coalition against the Houthis.
Keep it up the good work...
We must complete north-south corridor ASAP.
That would greatly increase Russia-Iran-India relationship and economy partnership.
It means goods move faster and cheaper between them , India ensures about their energy supply, Russia ensures about selling their energy and Iran ensures about it,s economy growth.
Wow! Analysis.❤
Thanks for the insight 💜
Ytn baba sa jda viewers are happy
Sir ji❤
we can go through saudi route like from gujarat to arabian sea to persian gulf. Indian Economists n Business houses may be knew it earlier... thats why we are focusing on IMEC
Nicely explained.
Excellent explanation
Hello brother, thanks for giving the knowledge.
Bro is too good in geopolitics
Very nicely covered🎉
This is increasing the importance of India middle east Europe trade corridor. The investments to it will increase
Probably the best video 😄
We do know India is a sleeping giant in the Arabian sea, when will we awake our naval powers of not now? When our interests are being compromised. Show of strength and proper response might be required
Thanks is not enough but thanks for all the informative videos👍
Doing very good man
This channel becomes more geopolitical channel than its original business related content.
We know geopolitics content getting more views now but Ganesh please we request you to stick with core business related content. ( Share market, how to attract investment, emerging unicorns, business ideas, entrepreneurship ) there are multiple topics which you should actually focus on, rather than geopolitics only. If u have keen interest then start another channel for geopolitics. Geopolitics matters for business but it's for big companies not for a beginners or individuals. I hope you will get on your old track ❤
Peaceful community at work.
Peaceful when you are cordial with us or else you'll be piecefull if you get in war with us😂. Tit for tat, we don't follow your gandhi ideology😂.
@@addyaddy614 First attack others then cry islamophobia when you get the reaction which is why 1% of Gaza population is already in pieces😂🤣
@@addyaddy614 the houthis are a terror group not because of israel / hindus / christians, etc. They are a product of Shia resitance against sunni rulers of Yemen. So the pieces are Shia & Sunni - both byproducts of the religion of peace & pieces.
And Houthis have killed thousnads of muslims amongst themselves and led to mass starvation in Yemen. And rich muslim Saudi Arabia have let their neighbors in Yemen starve.
These are just honest facts, something which is difficult for peaceful people like you to acknowledge
@@sid8285 Thank you for your generous comment but more than 1% have been martyred and we won’t grieve over it. But give more if need be. Likes of nelson mandela and every true legend have supported and said Palestine always belonged to Palestinians. Ignorant can have their islamophobia disorder happily.
@@andalibkhusro2663 you're right though but this war isn't about that. There are so many geopolitical layers to this war going as far back as Russia China Iran America UK and all that jazz. This war stopped being about the Palestinians a long time ago unfortunately 😢. It's very sad to see the death toll rising day by day but they'll just be numbers as all the previous wars. What's gonna happen to the world man. We're living in scary times
