Yes I agree that a lot of other you tubers definitely do not show Victoria. It’s my home and I for one, loved that you showed many places to camp. Thanks to you I have a list to start ticking off, so thank you.
Great episode guys, we had been follow you for awhile and it was nice to finally hear your stories of your lives. Keep up the great show you have started.
Came across your videos because we live in Victoria and love how much of Victoria you have seen and videoed. We have already put a few places you have visited on our list to go to. Thank you so much, love your honesty, keep up the great work. All the best for your lap. Safe travels.
Been watching your vids for a while because of your real no BS approach. I have stopped watching some other yourtubers due to their non relenting product advertisements which no doubt the ACCC would be interested in seeing so its so comforting to see real people. Always ensure i was the adds and press the like button to show my appreciation. My wife and I are the same vintage and wanting to do the same thing as you so very interested in your trip, equally very interested in buying a Great Aussie due to a video you posted a while back and then seeing other reviews (other family issues have delayed the purchase). Wish you all the best for your trip and excited to see your ventures.
Hi Terry, Thanks for your ongoing support. It really does help us out a lot 🙏. That's exciting news looking at new vans. It can be a bit of a minefield. Like any van, they do have little issues, which we have well documented. Good luck with your travels, and thanks again for watching our channel 🍻
UA-cam steered me onto your channel, as I was looking at ways to stay safe whilst towing a trailer. Off the bat you guys have put me on to Leon from Safe to Tow! So massive thank you! I look forward to watching your unknown journey across Aus. If you have a list of places you could recommend that perhaps are family friendly that would be amazing! All the best on your adventure!
Hi guys I am fairly new to your channel and I absolutely love you guys. I have gone back to the beginning of your channel and now I am up to date. Can't wait to watch your big lap. Safe travels
We love watching your channel with all the adventures and the ups & downs! This year we’re following your travels with greater interest as we’ve had to scale back our own travels to stay more local for a bit while our 11 year old dog is unwell. 2024 was to be the year we travelled in a large figure 8ish route from home in ACT across to SA, up through the centre of SA and NT then via Tanami track to NW WA (Kununurra and the Kimberley) before slowly heading back home. My husband is going to do his much longed for solo motorcycle ride across the Nullarbor to Perth during March and April instead. Your plans sound awesome and we’re so looking forward to revisiting some places we’ve been before through your eyes and seeing a lot that we’ve yet to explore. Many happy adventures to you all!! If you’ve not been to Cape Le Grand National Park before we highly recommend it to you, even as a day trip from Esperance but the campground there looking out over Lucky Bay is fabulous too. 🙋♀️❤️
Hi guys, thank you for watching and following our journey 😊. Hopefully, you get to some amazing local spots. l suppose things happen for different reasons, and you'll be on your trip before you know it 😍
Hey guys, have been following on our personal account for a while now, great to hear that you are also going to stay unsponserd. So jealous you've started, we will be moving into our van on 26th Jan, but only into a local caravan park. We have family commitments until end of April, come June, we'll be right on your tail, will look out for you.
Havent watched you both for a while (life gets busy) but so glad to be watching you again. You guys seem so genuine and down to earth and relatable, something you don’t get to watch on the tube anymore so a big THANK YOU to the both of you and all the hard work that goes into these videos. Welcome to SA too 🥰
Hey Marty, cheers mate, thanks for your support 🙏. I got the BBQ online it's actually meant for boats, it's marine grade stainless steel. from memory it cost around $400 Wander Oz 316 bbq grill
Love following you guys! you are so honest and genuine! After watching your last episode we now don’t skip the adds now we know it will benefit you Enjoy your travels and freedom in this wonderful country of ours.Hope to see you on the road on our travels
Enjoy ya trip guys love the raw content my mate Crossy owns and runs naturalist charters he does the orcas out of Bremer bay he’s a good fella hopefully you see heaps they are amazing creatures
Good info on a inside about you both.. as for watching your ads we have UA-cam prim. So we don't get ads but still hope it helps by watching and liking.
Rewatching all your videos in December (watching and playing in the background - was suppose to writing down all the places i would like to visit but ended up just enjoying the videos and forgetting to take notes 😅 haha Thank you so much for the extra episodes editing is alot more time consuming then people think, but we a super grateful ! Cant wait to see all these exciting adventures !!! 🎉
I’m so happy that you are doing the “mid week update”! We are setting off in the same direction from Griffith in late February so we are hoping to learn as much from you guys about SA, the Nullarbor and the bottom of WA as we can before we get there. The only planning we have done is Easter across the bight and the two weeks of school holidays in WA
Do you think you will get a club lounge when you build the next van? We love our one, and want it in the next van with the centre bathroom. Sorry for the added comment. 😊
WA Based here, by accident or similar planning we are looking to end up with a very similar setup to you guys... sing out if your passing by Mandurah WA
I have done lots of trips around Australia but getting older have my Jayco on the market. I follow and subscribe to a number of VLOGS but abandoned some because they became too commercial. Like your approach. Will travel with you for a while. Although I have seen some of your later episodes already. Good luck.
Thanks so much David. It's part of the algorithm with UA-cam. Some videos do really well and others not so much. It also depends on how UA-cam recommend our Channel.
New to your channel well seen 8 videos so far and i love how you both are honest. I know that my car is and my caravan are not new but i will love doing the travelling. It will be as i can keep going back through your videos. I was the same way should i sell the house and get a new car and video but i thought no i have my 4b i have had for 10 years and love it and i get the rent in to be able to support my travels. Thank you and the caravan parks are so expensive. Take care and see you in your next video.
Hi Maree, welcome to our channel! Thanks for your kind feedback, much appreciated. We agree, you don't need a new 4WD or caravan, you just need to drive and camp to your abilities and make sure your setup is reliable and can get you out of a pickle. Enjoy the upcoming episodes!
Your honestly and non commercial focus is refreshing... make sure you get to really enjoy your holiday , and don't get too bogged down making videos.... Safe travels and watch those propellers Troy!
Half the fun is planning the trip. After 11 yrs of caravanning we are awaiting deliv. of our Motor Home in Feb.2024. Already planning our Trip. Happy Days
Hey Rod, thank you, I've recovered well. I haven't come up with a name so perhaps you can come up with one for us as I can only come up with swear words. 😂
thanks for your lifestyle rundpwn. Watching makes me feel happy In some ways we are about to follow in your footsteps. Martine and i were married in France in July. After both losing partners and fate bringing us together we are waiting on a new van build. and let the party begin Happy trails. Cheers from Frank and Martine
Congratulations on the start of your exciting adventure. Looking forward to seeing more of the travels. Have really enjoyed watching all of your little tips along the way. Some great ideas. Stay safe & happy travels. Cheers Nicole & David 😀
Great to see you have started your big lap! I am looking forward to seeing all the new episodes, as I hope to learn some hints when we finally retire... I would love to be as organized as you with your travel itinerary and your meal planning! Well done!!
Guys we love your videos, we hang for your new clips sit down with a beer & wine to see what you guys up too. We appreciate the shake down advice and your honesty. Please stay safe hope all goes well. We might see you on the road someday.
Hi Laura and Troy, welcome to the big lap community. We are currently in Lancelin WA and have been on the road since August. I hope you love the caravanning life as much as I do. Looking forward to many episodes of your trip.
An absolute belter of an introduction Guys, you are so unique in how you do things which makes you Guys Wolfs and not sheep like the rest of UA-camrs LOL. its such a pleasure to watch a channel on UA-cam without someone pushing products and merchandise . have been following you for such a long time now, its grate to see you are finally on your trip around our lovely country and to have your family join you from time to time is such a memorable experience to treasure. 👍👍👍
That's amazing, will live vicariously through you both until we can do our own big lap next year. Enjoy and make great memories. Five days in Margaret River will have to do for the time being.
We are fulltime travellers from Esperance region, WA, so welcome to the West when you get there :) Always love watching your episodes, looking forward to all the new adventures from here on in :) Last time we crossed the Nullarbor (Feb 2023) we went up to Cook, the abandoned railway town. It was so interesting, and we camped the night at the old school. I think the Indian Pacific runs through on Fridays and Mondays from memory! It's 100ks north of the highway but the road is very well maintained and easily done with a caravan (depending on rainfall of course). Just a side note, we have a semi permanent caravan in Bremer Bay and spend all our summers there (here now) - you will absolutely love it Xx
Hi, that's great to hear you're living the dream 👌, thanks for the recommendation we're both looking forward to the West . Thank you for your support 🙏
Awesome guys happy for you. Hope we catch up on the road sometimes . Debbie and Laz and the fur babies. Taking off from Bunbury wa heading North on the 13 April.
Good to see you are off?we are currently at Venus Bay heading from the Eyre Peninsula going to the York Peninsula.Been to Ceduna last week from the 6th and the crabs are going off on the jetty. Two crab pots 2hrs and 20 crabs.Might come across paths as was trying to get to your meet and greet but had hiccups with the 200 series. The joy of full time travelling ( which been on the road for 6 months) Would have been heading West ourselves but have to be back in Victoria for caravan repairs so we are going back up the East coast and might be in Darwin by June or July love all your episodes and don’t usually comment to UA-camrs that much now because we are full time travelling doing it but been rolling from the beginning and you are all legends. Cheers Rod and Jenny 🦐🐟🦈🎣👍
Hey Rod & Jenny, thank you for your kind comments. We may very well cross paths if the stars align. We're heading out of the Yorke and to the Eyre next week. Would've been great to meet you both. Sounds like you have it all planned out after your repairs which is good to hear. Travel safe if we don't see you. 😀🙏
I subscribe to You Tube so I don’t get ads, so does that mean you get paid? I follow a lot of channels, just getting ideas of places etc., and people with dogs and must admit I get a bit tired of the merch push, the push for patrons etc. so glad you’re not doing it. Can I ask if you do things without the dogs, can you say if you’ve had to get dog sitters and how you found them. Cause I’m making notes on my wiki app 🙏🏻 love the channel ❤
Hey Kerry, thanks for tuning in. We'll absolutely let the followers know what we do with Coco when we can't have her around in a location. If you've got YT Premium, then we still get paid from you being a member to YT, thanks for checking with us, appreciate it. Also we use Camps Australia if you're interested.
Hi Troy, We enjoy your channel, we are in Adelaide and doing a Tassie lap in February for a month. Did you fix the issue with the 300 loosing power on the steep climb, I have the same issue and have sent a report and logged the issue with Toyota customer care. They have called to collect more detailed i formation Loss of power as the engine heats up and can not change gears down or up Waiting for a reply from Toyota. Has it happed again Thanks Allan
Hi Allan, thanks for your message. No the issue hasn't happened since but the 300 is going in for a service next week and we'll know more then about what happened on the Snowy Mountains Hwy. It sounds like it's an overheating issue and since that episode, many other 300 series owners have mentioned the same thing. Interesting to see what Toyota respond to you. Keep in touch.
Guys we are SO THRILLED for you and this journey. We absolutely loved this and can’t wait to watch every upload. As always your honesty and just being you is why we have been following along since your very first upload as Journey Unknown. 🙏🏻❤️ we love you guys
It is great to see you have started your lap. Must say you guys are very well organised and it is also good to see that Troy's chin is healing nicely. That was a close shave with the drone (pun intended).
Sounds great guys!! When crossing the Nullabor make one of your stops Koonalda Homestead. The road in is fantastic now (we did it in Dec 2023) as they’ve redone in. No UA-cam travelling families have done it and it’s a fantastic place to visit. Troy will love all the old rusted cars out there too. Travel safe and enjoy!!
Hi Guys, I have been only watching/catching up with your blogs the last few weeks. I have a serious question for you. I am planning to sell house/by 4x4 & caravan/ and travel the outback ... so ... I'm a lone traveler with 2 GSPs. I have noticed you have left Co-Co in the car or caravan while on a date so for me there will be times when I have to leave them in the car or caravan .. so ... how can I safely keep them in the car/caravan and keep the temperature level safe for the pets (fan/aircon) while I do shopping/maybe National Park/or some other activities that cant accommodate dogs/pets ???
Hi Peter, That's exciting news 😀. thanks for watching and commenting. Coco travels in the car with Aircon she generally sleeps most of the way. We also have plenty of stops along the way for her to run around. When we have to leave her in the van, the Aircon goes on, and we have a camera that we can monitor her, if we go out for dinner, etc. 👌. hopefully, that helps, and good luck with your travels 🍻
Wow, how exciting for you guys… We are off for our second lap this year and doing it Laura style in our new van as our last lap 6mth and really 3/4 as we went central Vic, NSW, Qld then NT, WA, SA and home in a camper trailer… This lap will take in Cape York, Nhulunbuy and a lot more remote at times.. We will let the ads run now to support you as I was a skipper 😊 enjoy your lap we will keep watching and hopefully cross paths at some stage… We are from Eltham so Vic also… safe travels Choc & Kris..
Woohoo safe travels
Thank you.
Safe travels 😊
Thanks!
Enjoy your journey, wherever it takes you.
Thanks Joanne 🙏
I’m excited for you guys. All the best😃

Came across your videos because we live in Victoria and love how much of Victoria you have seen and videoed. We have already put a few places you have visited on our list to go to. Thank you so much, love your honesty, keep up the great work. All the best for your lap. Safe travels.
Thanks, Rachel. we loved showcasing Victoria . it's great to see you're enjoying our content 😊

Another great episode it’s the nuts and bolts that make a successful adventure all the best wishes and looking forward to going with you.👍
Cheers Roger thanks for coming along with us 🍻
That's amazing, will live vicariously through you both until we can do our own big lap next year. Enjoy and make great memories. Five days in Margaret River will have to do for the time being.
😄 thank you. Margaret River is a beautiful location 😍. thanks for watching our episodes
Love watching your travels. Never have commented before but just wanted to wish you both a wonderful trip. May see you in WA later, on my travels.
Aww thank you for your comment. We both appreciate your well wishes 🙏 ❤️
Woo hoo legends - so stoked for you both! Have loved watching from the start and can’t wait for the new adventures to come - travel safe 👏
Thanks Tracey ❤️ 😊
Love you guys. The most genuine people on You Tube. Looking forward to the episodes and please stay safe. Troy, listen to Laura 🤣.

That's exciting. yes, please come and say hello if we cross paths 😍
Looking forward to sharing your travel experiences. Loved the sandwich box idea, I'll be using that for sure
Hi Helen, Yes, we love the sandwich box it gets used near every day 🥰. thanks for tuning in 🙏
So excited to watch your travels. There’s been a great build-up!

Bon voyage finally happening. Enjoy the journey, I can't wait to get on the road myself. Your giving me inspiration. Ps. We need toys troy
That's awesome 👌. yes, we certainly do 😂
Good to see you are off?we are currently at Venus Bay heading from the Eyre Peninsula going to the York Peninsula.Been to Ceduna last week from the 6th and the crabs are going off on the jetty.
@@JourneyUnknown thanks for your kind words so stay safe all of you 🦐🐟🦈🎣👍
I subscribe to You Tube so I don’t get ads, so does that mean you get paid?
Hi Troy,
We enjoy your channel, we are in Adelaide and doing a Tassie lap in February for a month.
Did you fix the issue with the 300 loosing power on the steep climb, I have the same issue and have sent a report and logged the issue with Toyota customer care.
They have called to collect more detailed i formation
Loss of power as the engine heats up and can not change gears down or up
Waiting for a reply from Toyota.
Has it happed again
Thanks
Allan
Hi Allan, thanks for your message. No the issue hasn't happened since but the 300 is going in for a service next week and we'll know more then about what happened on the Snowy Mountains Hwy. It sounds like it's an overheating issue and since that episode, many other 300 series owners have mentioned the same thing. Interesting to see what Toyota respond to you. Keep in touch.
Awesome, we are not far from the yorks and off to WA 1st March, please showcase the free camps
100% we will if we stay there. It's going to be a mixed bag of free, low cost and caravan parks. Stay tuned!
Guys we are SO THRILLED for you and this journey. We absolutely loved this and can’t wait to watch every upload. As always your honesty and just being you is why we have been following along since your very first upload as Journey Unknown. 🙏🏻❤️ we love you guys
Awww thank you so much 😍
Happy New Year, guys! Safe travels. Is Buster joining you on the lap?
Happy New Year. Buster will be looking looking after the farm. he'll come on a few trips when we come back through Victoria
Burners beach was one of our favourite camps, so much so that we went to it twice while in SA
We're not surprised as why, it was an amazing camp and nice calm seas.
Where on the Yorke peninsula are you
In that episode, we were at Burners Beach.
It is great to see you have started your lap. Must say you guys are very well organised and it is also good to see that Troy's chin is healing nicely. That was a close shave with the drone (pun intended).
Hi Phillip, Cheers, mate 👍. 😄 definitely a close shave bit too close 😉
Thanks Kelly, that's a great recommendation 👍
We will let the ads run now to support you as I was a skipper 😊 enjoy your lap we will keep watching and hopefully cross paths at some stage…
We are from Eltham so Vic also… safe travels Choc & Kris..
Thank you 😊. That's awesome. we really appreciate your support 🙏. Your upcoming trip sounds amazing 👌 Safe travels
