Friends Today i travel from Raipur To Puri By Car And The Roads and Route I Traveled so in the coming days if you plan to visit Puri by road from Pune you can get a brief idea about the road conditions and the route so you can plan your trip and travel comfertabely.
As you had seen in my previous video how i reached Raipur from Pune a distance of 1100 kms and it took almost 18 hours for me to cover this distance
You witnessed the road conditions and construction work going on from Bhandara onwards upto Raipur
Continuing my journey forward today I am moving ahead towards Puri from Raipur, this distance is about 600 kms but the travel time is around 12 hours
The issue of stray cattle on middle of the road and how dangerous it can be if you are not alert while driving can been experienced on this road
I took my journey from Raipur to Sohela on the Mumbai Kolkata Highway and at Sohela I took a right turn towards Sonepur Boudh Nayagarh Daspalla Khorda and reach Puri in the evening
The reason for this much of travel time is because the roads from Sohela onwards are Single Lane Small Roads and from Sohela to Sonepur the distance of 80 kms is under construction
One more thing I want to share is that if you are planning to travel on this route please download the offline map as from Sohela I had lost Mobile and Internet Connection
So an offline map will help you in such situations
I had to stop and ask for directions at many occasions just due to the fear of getting lost or ending in unknown location
But thankfully I was guided properly by locals and i reached Puri Safely

I am on a roadtrip from Nagpur to Puri and beyond (my native place in 350 km away from Puri towards north of Odisha). Jagannath Darshan felt so awesome. I also want to say, next time when u visit don't take the right turn from Sohela (to Sonepur) ... go straight to Sambalpur then to Boudh Dashpalla Nayagarh Khordha and Puri.

The underpass was not a wrong turn but the correct one. If you would have taken left from there then you would have gone through Bhubaneswar which could have taken another 1 hr extra and extra 40kms.

I mean I thought that Google took me through some village roads instead of highway..and due to which i reached Jaggannath Puri late .

Bahut kharab bhi nahi aur bahut accha bhi nahi..
Overall 50% accha road hai & 50% under construction hai..

खरे सांगायचे झाले तर, कोणत्या गाडीतून प्रवास केला तर प्रवास आरामदायी होईल हा ज्याच्या त्याच्या आवडीचा विषय आहे..
माझ्या कडे maruti ertiga आहे आणि मी ह्या गाडीने एक लाख किलोमीटर पेक्षा जास्त प्रवास केला आहे आणि अत्यंत आरामात आणि आनंदात..
आणि आपण मला पुणे ते जगन्नाथ पुरी चे प्रवसा साठी कोणत्या प्रकारच्या गाडीने प्रवास करावा असे जर विचारत असाल तर, माझा अनुभव हा आहे की इथे मी ज्या मार्गाने गेलो तिथे SUV गाडी नसेल तरी पण चालेल. रस्ते चांगले आहेत ( सोहेला ते सोनपुर मधला भाग सोडला तर ) पण दुसऱ्या मार्गाची मला माहिती नाहीये म्हणून त्या रस्त्यांची पारिस्थी बघून गाडी ठरवावी असे वाटते

It took me around 12/13 hours to reach Puri from Raipur, because my GPS was not working properly and I had to ask for directions at many places,and secondly because I took many stops in between this journey
