In episode 61 of Whisky in SV, I did a blind tasting of the Jack Daniels 10 Year Batch 03 compared to batch 02 from last year. Before doing the blind, I spent some time with both whiskies and concluded that although they are very similar, batch 02 is significantly more oaky and I prefer it, but in the blind, I got them mixed up, so it was a pretty humbling experience.
