Great quality video, was expecting to see a much more famous channel! Hope that changes soon 😊 Oh, I loved how you forgot the buttons at first because I recently restored a Gameboy too, first time I opened one, and I forgot the buttons as well, I felt so stupid for missing something so obvious but I'm glad it wasn't only me. I guess fiddling with the screen for so long takes up a lot of your thinking and when you're finally done it's "the screen board" in your mind, buttons are out of the picture until after you put it back in 😂
Issue isn’t with the audio mod issue is with the potentiometer wheel. Which is the audio wheel. The static is the result of a failing volume wheel. Sometimes running new solder over the contacts will fix the issue and or using a contact cleaner to blow out the wheel then compressed air to dry even more dry. If this does not work use a donor gameboys for its volume wheel.
This channel is a damn gem, that's for sure.
Thank you!

Thanks!
I forget to do steps ALL THE TIME! Everyone does it. The worst is I once put back together an entire Wii and had one screw left over.
I'm so sorry to hear about the audio mod not working out. Great vid though.
Great video as always.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy them.
Your volume knob is going bad. The mod is probably fine

Are there some other audio mods out there that might actually improve the audio quality?
I can't mod, wish I could, still enjoyed the video.
P.S. Although he wants to hide it, you can hear how happy he is doing this video.
