I doubt there is much point doing that - as Shawn has pointed out they have been demonitised. He usually includes a link to "UA-cam unacceptable" content in description. Where appropriate - To a site where they are acceptable.
Or else you find mice getting dumped out of a bucket interesting, you're really not missing much anyways. I doubt he'll do that for something like this but I'd still watch if if we did get that link.
As a mechanical engineer, traps like this fascinate me. All of the components are, by themselves, simple machines, but together they make a complex yet super effective trap. Also this thing is more effective than half the traps you see available on the market today!
Typical German overengineering - the "rolling bar" trap and "walk-the-plank" traps also have unlimited kills, but with 10 times less complexity and price

Some people have those mechanical minds, like Bob Ross can picture an Alaskan Skyline in his head, an engineer can imagine a machine and how it all fits, and what it takes to make it work. I think that people that build those intricate watches with all those little gears must be so artistic and smart at the same time. This mouse trap is so awesome and the guy who designed it must have one of those minds, and this was some little thing he thought of on the toilet. It's like an engineer's sketch!
I don't know understand what the problem is. There's dead animals on the road all the time. Everyone sees them. I drove pass an opossum that was killed on the road this morning. It was unfortunate sure, but it was still there in plain view on a SCHOOL BUS ROUTE!

This is a very cool trap but why do the mice go in. Is there a place for bait? If so how do the earlier arriving mice not eat all the bait and keep it from attracting more mice,
I saw on the Aussie's video from years before UA-cam existed (actually from Australian TV) that there is bait (to attract the mice in) but the mice can't get at it. If you look at Shawn's video at 2:55 you can see that the grating that the bait should be put behind is not in place but the mouse couldn't get out there. No need for bait the mice were put in by Shawn. That grating is to stop the mice getting to the bait even when they enter through the correct entrance. They've seen the bait through the grating and look for a way to get at it. VERY CRAFTY DESIGN! No last supper for them!
The one my grandparents had was very similar, it came with a one page comical instruction paper written in an English/German combination, I’d love to find one like theirs. It was built slightly better looking quality wise.

The Curiosity Show was one of the best educational shows for children of all time. It focused on science and was great because it never spoke down to kids. A lot of Aussies like me who grew up in the eighties remember it fondly.
You could make a trap that consists of a manually precharged revolver type cylinder, that has a pressure pad with a locking mechanism, so when the mouse goes into the hole and presses the trigger plate, the revolver rotates one notch, locking on the next open cylinder and resetting the trigger and catching the mouse.
I clicked on the curiosity show(great show btw) video the other day because I saw this trap which I originally saw on Shawns channel ages ago. Curiosity show gave a great demonstration but they didn't reference the teeter totter like I remembered Shawn doing, so it's good to have the Shawn Woods version again.

Reset is explained @2:18 & 2:44. the trigger is what is not clear: teeter toter board has a bar, attached at front, going up at an angle into path of the door holding it open. When teeter toter board moves from mouse/rat walking over from front side to back side, bar moves up and out of path of door towards center of trap allowing door to drop. Reset is from mouse weight on lever (plank) inside top of tank causes plank to go down and door to go up (@2:18 & 2:44) allowing teeter toter and trigger bar to reset final bit.

The world needs something like youtube but without the censorship !! I'm an adult and can decide for myself what is or is not offensive. I find it offensive for other people to decide for me what is offensive ! Love your shows, brilliant. :)
when people see "mouse trap" they should know it may show dead mice, so if they are offended by seeing this, easy, DONT WATCH, but don't moan, these traps are very clever and need to be seen, even if its only for historical reference, now off you go and watch pepper pig.
