Just wanted to expand on the whole halls of lightning point which watching back i didn't feel like i expanded enough on - The reason i said it COULD still be better than running round questing is because of how contested levelling zones will be, under no circumstances would it be quicker than questing uncontested.

20:30 worth adding that the bear mount you get now in Zul Aman is a re color , to distinguish it from the ones obtained in the raid version.
And ZG gives you a panther mount now instead of tiger.

I’m pretty sure the bear mount from ZA will look different from the original. In retail it was kind of a faded purple hue instead of dark red.

I have a question for you, as a new or returning player. How am i to be able to pug into a raid specially when every spam i see is gdkp? I know for sure going to cata i dont have the gold bag for such things what am i to do? my work schedule does not allow me to commit to a guild raid schedule. Some advice would help! thanks in advance.

question: i used ur link for the restexp 80-81 prep but it's suggesting quests that i've already completed. Any idea how that's possible? thanks for all the great vids btw.
Someone please help me answer this. If my first priority upon Cata Classic release was to get my herbalism maxed out and farm a ton of herbs, can I access all of the zones at level 80, or do I need to do all the quest chains before I unlock access to the zones?
Can anyone find a source to where they talked about Account Wide Achievements at blizzcon? Like Scotte talked about at 9:02. I do not remember this and I personally can't find a source for it.
Edit: I checked the beta and currently Achievements are Account Wide, but titles from Achievements are character bound.

I find it weird that Blizzard extended Ulduar patch in WOTLK cause we missed out back in OG WOTLK, but then they made Cata 8 months long from start til last raid, Firelands only getting 3 months (being during the busiest holiday season too) like what Blizzard?
Ulduar was their crowning jewel of design, and then they shortly after release made it irrelevant. They wanted it to breathe this time around. Now, my assumption would be they're looking at Number drop-offs from WoTLK and SoD, and decided that a faster pace release would be more beneficial for player retention. Nothing is set in stone so it might change, who knows.

I'm kind of worried about if they accelerate everything and don't increase drops, might be harder to get closer to BiS.

Well, there is Classic WoW, there is Hardcore, there is Season of Discovery, there is Retail - and there is gonna be Remix (Pandaria (&probably others gonna follow [they might also test to end Classic with these Remix Stories... Who knows])) and there is Cata Classic. That's lot of shit and tons of Stuff. So, how can we make the best out of it ? Let's cut down the Timeline. People gonna go crazy between the content they wanna play. Damn you Blizz...
6:15 about the best tank and it being blood, I agree. But the best off tank is a Feral Druid.
Theres also a stone drake you can get as a mount in deepholm it flys circles over the map

What happens to excess triumph and frost badges if you have way over 346? Do they get converted to gold, or do you lose them?
So let’s say LFR is there , is it gonna be same difficulty of 10 or 25 normal or a difficulty by itself and drop lower Ilvl gear? Never raided in retail but I know that LFR

What should I do with my Defiler's Scourgestone? Swap for saronites (120g) or wait for the pre patch and swap for gold?

So for prepatch honor will be converted to a much lower amount - will the gear cost less then? Just dont want to cap at 75k honor to save for buying wrathful and then get screwed
With the way they changed Wrath, Watch out for quests that give Justice, You don't want to loose out because youre capped. If they do the same in Cata that is.

the only thing that genuinely makes me happy is the fact that people have/are coming to terms with the fact that cata was never bad it just that hard time of coming after wrath and then before mop two xpacs that people consider very highly
Only thing I dont get about the emblems: Why is the gold conversion better for Conquests and lower? Like, why make us calculate our 346 frost and triumphs, than convert the extras into conquest so we get a better rate? Why not make all extra emblems over cap the same rate?

Been asking on the forums/reddit/ etc and cant seem to get an answer, so just to shoot a shot here does anyone know if prepatch introduces the 10 OR 25 mechanic for raids or is that coming with Cata in May? I know that its a per boss system but my Guild cant find any confirmation one way or the other if we can still do both until Cata or if everyone will have to lock into just a 25 or a 10 starting with the prepatch.

are archeology items like the sword will be account bound or i have to lvl specific archeology on every class i need that ? or if i get arch on my druid and get it i can send over to my paladin ?
Epic gear items will 100% not be account bound, and you will be lucky to get them at least on your main. If you intend to do that on every class, Blizzard needs to bring back the Insane title just for you.
The weapons and armors are bind on account.

i think raid finder should just be a separate instance than the actual raid. like instead of RF dragon soul, they go to a bigger version of a dungeon or something for some in between gear to help ilvl

Hey just a quick question that i have yet to see anyone mention. When prepatch hits will yellow int gems change, will red brilliant gems for spellpower change to int?
i believe so. during raid a few weeks back my Druid buddy was talking about having to re-gem his equipment when pre-patch dropped. Mind you he's a bear tank so take that with a grain of salt

No that feature is only in retail currently

I would think they get converted to gold just like all other currencies barring Emblem of Frost, and Triumph (which are converted into justice points)

I know some of you might be persuaded to get restedxp for leveling but trust me on this, you do not need it, I know scottejaye mentioned this but you quite literally get no benefit from it. Might as well donate personally to him if you actually doing it to support him

There are plenty of leather gear that are bis for ret pallies in wotlk…don’t blame the players for blizzard not making the game right. That’s why they brought in specializations based on your armor type in cata.
@@Orly90 Minimal gains just because it sim’d that way? I will blame the players because blizzard as a collective didn’t tell everyone that it was ok to prioritize gear when other classes only had one option. When ultimately, if you knew how to pump dps, you could still pump with plate gear
@@matthewm1606 I am with you, but from the paladin side, I never took other armor than plate in BC and WotLK, it felt weird to be forced to wear a leather g-string as a holy warrior for 1% dps increase.

Indeed, thats what i miss in classic.. Even though 1-60 are goated in cata as it is, but i like what they did in retail and let us level pretty much anywhere.

Yes, Cata was the "beginning" of rubbish talents that removed the possibility of hybrid specs, which killed all creativity around them. That is actually one of the very few things I disliked about Cata
Regarding faster leveling 60-80. On the retail Cataclysm, they just reduced the amount of XP you needed for lvl 60-70 and 80
Another thing worth mentioning and everybody forgets about it, is that flying in the old world is not working for any content behind the TBC loading screen (meaning Silvermoon, Ghostlands e.t.c)
Yea regarding faster levelling your talking non classic catacylsm, this time round they have already confirmed they are increasing the speed of 60-80 even further but we don't know how yet because they don't like communicating about anything that isn't season of discovery.

My guild q'd for LFR with 20 of us and we needed on everything so our guild could get it. They need to cap how many people can q at once.
Just make it so that if you do LFR then you are locked and you can't do normal that week

As a plate wearer, can you transmog other classes tier sets? Like a paladin transmogging the warrior T1 set?
No, unless you have a piece that isn’t tier that looks like that tier piece

@@OrionStarzz The only tier sets which can be transmogged for other classes are the original Naxx T3 sets, as the class requirement is only there for purchasing the tier, not equipping it. That said it's only obtainable now through the Black Market AH, which isn't added until MoP.
@@OrionStarzz By current rule, you can only learn the look of an item, if you can equip it. Meaning no, if you loot a warrior tier set on your paladin, you can't learn the outlook of it. (In retail, it will change in the next expac, but I don't think it will have anny effect in Classic)

Even Sub rogue is good in cata though blizzard had to tell us that, lol. But only 1 disc priest is required for raiding.
