i would kill for a NFS High Stakes reboot where it returns to it's exact old style of NFS where it has NFS tracks from 1994-2002 plus new tracks for tha High Stakes Reboot and nothing but Electronica music!

i remember them all tracks especially the norwegen/Norvegen one its based on my contry Norway i think it was based on Trysil area in east-Norway hehe, it has Watch the speed in Norwegian text 48:30 ;D
i wish ther was a mod that only adds the orginal nfs tracks from nfs1&2 in to nfs4 with out replacing them and the extra cars in same detail as the orginal cars in game sort so it looks lik it was made from ea back then :D now its still seems that there is someorginal extra official cars to downloade and then need to nit pick and test cars to see whats good/same low poly&texture look.
sad ea back then didn`t include nasca C2 in pc Version of nfs3 and the extra cop cars etc :)
Ahhh... Cygnus Rift by Rom Di Prisco (menu music) I always listen to these tracks while driving, calms me down and also makes the nostalgia hit you like a brick

Almost 1 hour of gameplay, showing us this amazing cars, beautiful tracks from NFS 1 & 2, and god dammed, Voodoo 6000 is the most powerful D3D-6 card ever, which will never bring any issues with this game. I played this game first time in software mode. Later I played it with Voodoo 4500. And graphics was beautiful. Now I tried it with GF2 Ultra, and there was som issue with rendering, so I have to try elder drivers. VSA cards also cannot play games like GTA 1997. Need Voodoo 1 or 2, don’t know about Banshee. Very good video, watched it from beginning until end

I recommend try my USA city tracks for NFS4 :) I also made Special Editions tracks from NFS2SE, make them a little better... and don't forget about Burnt Sienna and Transapolis from NFS1 SE :)

Geil! I loved this Game. At Release i played this Game with a Riva128 and it looks terrible and mostly slow fps. Later i bought a Voodoo3 it was like a new Game. High fps and a awesome look made this Game real fun to play! It runs very fast on your cool System!
The expansion pack is a welcome change from the original NFS4.

This pc version was the SHIT. 60fps the mclaren without working for it. Netppay. Yeah we had a ball with this game. Plus the nfs3 tracks
Another very well made video demonstrating the V5 6000. Everytime a watch one of your videos in which you use the Epox 8K3A+ I remember that I still need to find someone to re-cap the two boards I have of that model. Until then I need to use my other KT333-based boards.
NFS4 still sucks big time though. No driving feel whatsoever and bad sound. I'd rather play the tracks from the older NFS titles in their original game even though NFSII itself isn't that great. TNFS: SE and NFS Porsche are very good though.
I have a question again regarding the LOD setting: a few days ago you wrote to me that "a LOD shift of -0.5 for 2x AA and -1.5 for 4x AA has proven itself in the 3dfx driver control panel settings." But in this video you choose LOD Bias -8. Maybe this video is older than the recommendation you gave me and you gained experience in the meantime. Would be nice if you could explain this to me though!

I like all NFS parts until NFS Porsche, also the first one that has no 3d acceleration: The Need for Speed Special Edition. I am playing this from time to time on my DOS machine, a really realistic and not so easy game, more simulation, than arcade as the second part NFS II.
To the LOD: Because -8 gives a lot of sharper image with 4x FSAA, look here in this article, these are the settings: www.anandtech.com/show/580/22
It is too sharp with -8 and without FSAA. -4 should be good for 2x FSAA. You have to try it out, to find out your best settings for you.

Hi, is there anyone who can help me with extracting 3d files of the tracks in obj or fbx format? I've tried Ninja Ripper and 3Dripper dx but it doesn't work.
Wow, it has all of the NFS1 and 2 tracks on High Stakes engine? Good lord! Now is a good time to install this mod. Now im not gonna need to play again NFS1 and 2 with that badly made stiff handling and inconsistent physics.
This must be the pc version I only ever played the ps1 version. It doesn't let you change much
your tire smoke is green. Was not properly converted to 32bit color.

3:28 almost every converted track from NFS2 had this bug, 10 years ago. like path finding is wrong or something? some cars just crash in a few corners in every nfs2 track converted to nfs4.
Hey man, I'm wondering did you have problem during the loading screen after you clicked on race the game crash and it should something about the file of the track? I have that problem when I picked Atlantica at night only and the game crashed.
All runs fine and I have only tested on my Retro Systems. Which system do you have used? The Expansion Pack 4.0 also runs fine on a modern system with Windows 10, but not tested yet.

Try to install the latest patch 1.2 for Rogue Squadron 3D.

Hallo! Danke für das liebe Kommentar! Ich würde ev. auf einen zu hohen Gammawert tippen. Die RGB Werte lassen sich im 3dfx Controlpanel einstellen. Gehe mal in kleinen Schritten runter und teste dann.

Should be running on 32 bit though...
Only with reduced settings, because the frame drops are high in 32-bit, in special the rain/snow scenes. You can't change the colour in-game to 32-bit in 3dfx Glide mode, you have to force it in the driver. I prefer more high FSAA settings. With a V5 5500, you can play with the same settings/performance like the V5 6000 , if you change to 2x FSAA.
