It’s worked perfectly for me so there hasn’t been anything I’ve wanted to improve. I did end up building a second, slightly smaller, one for my hi hat pedal just so they’d be level.
@@HipsterHarrisonBut it's not annoying for them ? I was just playing and my next door neighbour thought there was construction going on. I got a KD-9 kickpad and i already have a felt patch for the kickdrum and another more silent beater coming. I think i'll make a plate like this too. Couldn't hurt i guess.
I like the part where he shows us if it works! 👍
ikr!!!??
@@glickyglue Hipsters never say the truth.
Could you do a demo of how that sounded without the music or the drum sounds just the drums and the pads alone?
just curious
Thanks for this ! Just made one
so how did you screw in the tennis balls? or did you glue them up?
do you have a link to the type of matting you used? Ny the way very well done so the goes on the inside of the tennis ball or bot in and out?
Thanks for this. Now that you've used it a couple of months, do you have any suggestions for improvement? Going to try to build one of these.

Did you glue the tennis balls? I can't see what's going on in the video. Thanks!
They’re screwed to the board.
@@HipsterHarrison thanks
nice idea thanks !
Great build! I have the same kit, so was wondering, what size wood piece did you use for this?
Again, video ends before the sound.
Hi, what size is the wood board you used?
Do your neighbors still hear you with this or no
When I asked them they said they’ve never noticed the sound of it.

@@mikey2111 Did it make it better?
Looks good, man! How well did it work for you? Stable to play on? Less vibration transfer?
It worked really well. It’s nice and stable and no complaints from the downstairs neighbors.
@@HipsterHarrison Great! Thanks for the reply! Cheers
