- In This Video I'm going to show you how I built my professional E-Drum Noise Isolation Platform with Sylomer.
If you have issues with Neighbors and family complaining about the noises during your drum practise, pay close attention, how to get rid of the structure-borne sound with this drum riser platform using sylomer instead of tennis balls.

Great video!
would it be possible to record downstairs with and without it to hear the difference? many thanks!
I will think about it, how to measure the difference 👍
@@eDrumUp awesome because I would love to build something like this too. Or if I should just open the flooring but thats a way more expensive thing to do. cheers!
How about using a semi-perm bed foam on entire bottom, eliminate vibration, 100% stable... no need for hole drilling .
just simply layer it this way: (double sided tape in between can add stability and dampening too)

PERM BED FOAM. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Don't know if anyone has ever tried :D it might definitely work as an sound insulation, but I'm not sure if it will match Sylomer in the efficiency. Might be enough for your case though 😉
@@eDrumUp agree with sylomer, its a kind of material which absorbs vibration, but in our region its not available, and if it will be available i'll use it in replacement with PERM BED.
but then again what i'm trying to emphasize is the stabilty because of the structure and simplicity in constructing a platform with less effort.
@ sure, why not. I'm looking forward on your opinion, when you try it out 👍
Hey bud, nice set up. I have the same kit but I hate the triggering from that module. Too many missed triggers. I noticed you have a second module. You should make a video explaining how you did this for people like me that need help with edrums and connecting them with multiple modules. That would be awesome! Hope you can explain how you did it and how you like it if any noticeable improvements that you can tell from not using the module that came with
Hey, I'm already planning on a video about that. I will combine it with a review of the T950. You'll have to be patient for a few more days (maybe weeks) 😉
Nice bro-- is it that loud ???? May be quick video how it sounds like in the room.. thanks
Will add it to the review. Sorry, this one took a bit longer 😅
Hi! Thank for the video! I´m building a similar raiser, but its not clear to me yet the calculation of the Sylomer pads amount. Could you tell me how did you calculate yours? Thanks in advance!
Hey there. The calculation is depending on the size of the sylomer pads.
I used pads in the size of 150x150mm, they therefore work best for 25kg each. So for these pads you need to calculate the complete weight of your drumset, the wooden platform and yourself (if you are sitting on the platform as well) and divide the total weight by 25kg to get the amount of pads you will need.
You can find these pads here: www.monodrums.com/english.
If you use other sized pads, they will probably carry a different weight, therefore you need to adapt the calculation to the respective pads you use.
Hope this helps 👍
Hey, great job) What are the dimension of your platform?
In total 165 x 140 cm, but not over the entire length, because of several cutout
Мой английский не слишком хорош и я не поняла, почему такая странная форма у этой платформы 🙄
Otherwise it would not fit into my room 😉
@@eDrumUp я еще долго буду думать про угол, который можно было сделать скошенным или вообще закруглённую форму 🫠
broo all good but wear shoes when working !!
