- We had a proper dust up! 🥊
After a wash out yesterday with no breeze, it was breeze on today. Racing finally got aways for INEOS Britannia and Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team after multiple delays. Ben Ainslie and his team had a textbook entry and LRPP was disqualfied for outside assistance (dropping their main with a bunch of broken battens).
In the second match, the Italians came back swinging, and boy did they have to given that Ineos were out to get a penality. Even though the British were faster with the correctly sized mainsail, and both teams were doing some very tidy maneouvres, it was the Italians who won the second race to again level the scores.
