Chinese are very honest people. They don't scam you and charge you the same price as the local. In other countries, I am sure you will be changed 2 or 3 times more than the local people. Try India and see what will happen?
4 dollars for a tire change. That's amazing. At Kwik Fit in the UK (tire change place) it would have cost an arm and a leg and they would have robbed you at the same time.
yup wont be able to get anything less than £50 in the UK..... most probably closer to £65 £75!!! and if you did you would definitely be suspect!!!! Heck it would be impossible to get a tire change here in the UK without knowing youve been scammed by the big named quikfix companies.....
I have the misfortune of a puncher tire in Los Angles , try two local tire shop , they refuse to repair the puncher , insist it need sa new tire , also due the other tires are not "new " , I should replace them all 4 , with their special deal of the day ! I made a quick trip to Walmart . purchase a tire repair kit for $ 12 and repair the tire myself , still driving after a year on the road , no lost of air pressure ! PS majority of population in this area is Asian ,Arcadia ( The Beverly Hill of Beijing ) but they pick a wrong Asian to scam .

Two late I didn't want to argue. But his lost because I will never want to come back to his garage.
I had a flat tyre recently. The garage said it could not be repaired and they wanted to charge me £120 for a brand new tyre! ( My car is a small Seat Mii ). Rip off Britain so it is!!
Yeah it’s easy to get ripped off at a garage. I know a few trustworthy garages in my home town which I always visit because I don’t trust other garages 😂🙈

Thanks Anthony, that's interesting, I wasn't even aware of the Pozidrive screw. I wonder which type of screw would be most likely to stick into a tyre ? I would have thought the chance of this happening was pretty low but it's happened twice in a few months, probably because there's a lot of construction taking place close to a few of the roads I drive on regularly.
That's sometimes the difficulty, finding an honest mechanic.I would imagine most are honest but it's easy to be misled and ripped off by the occasional con artist.
Services are generally incredibly inexpensive in east Asia. But at least in California, we got you beat haha - it’s pretty much free for non-sidewall tire repair and rotation. Might be a law?
It might have change in the last 3 years but I used to take my tires to America's tire in central California and it's free, whether you buy the tires from them or not.
It was very tasty, but for sure it has a lot of carbs and isn't very healthy, I wouldn't eat those dishes very often. wow, 15 grams is pretty low, what kind of foods do you usually eat ?
@@middlekingdomproductions I avoid most noodles, cause they are nothing but carbohydrates, I think three to four noodles would probably equal the 15 grams, I have to stick with a complex carbohydrate meal, mostly vegetables non root vegetables they are carb heavy can’t have any fructose = no fruit of any kind, no lactose = milk products, heavy cream, milk ext anything with lots of lactose. No sucrose = sugar, sugar is in everything like ketchup. So very little carbohydrates, lots a vegetables and meat. That mostly what I eat. So u can say my diet restriction, and the blood sugar issue where I have to drink uncooked cornstarch every three hours during the day and every four at night. U could say this condition really sucks, but it’s life or death right??. Kind of like a diabetic with their diet restriction also.
Was that a proper repair made from the inside of the tyre? If it was just plugged with tyre string from the outside, I'd suggest caution. In Britain tyre string repairs are illegal for any road vehicle.
Good question! I'm not certain. They did appear to have a few tyres which they were working on inside the tyre but I didn't watch closely I was mostly filming outside in the street while they worked on it. This happened once before on a different tyre and they did the work from the inside for the same price at a different garage so I don't think they just plugged it. is there a way to tell without taking the tyre off? I'll see if we can ask them and find out.

You are correct. The plug repair method should take less than 3 minutes. I did all my tire repairs with the plug method and none of them have problems or leaks.

When we bought it almost nobody here drove one but now they are really popular I see a lot of them around.
I like how the windows and balconies all have steel bars . The question arises ,is it to keep criminals out or the inmates in ? Maybe suicide prevention ?
This is something some old apartment blocks have on certain windows, usually the balcony area or around air conditioning units. You don't often find these on modern apartments here. My last landlord installed some herself on a few front facing windows for added security as it wasn't very high above the ground. Maybe somebody reading this will know more than me though ?
It's to keep the criminal out, not that we have a lot of criminal now, it just in the 80s And 90s, China had a very high crime rate, And also around that time, housing market start privatization, So this 'steel bars' became popular. Even we have a very low crime rate now, people are still installing this. Note: if u understand how chaotic and danger china was back in the 80s And 90s. You'll understand why most Chinese now really do support the government, Cus life really changed A LOT.
I am not sure about the laws and practice in China, but I think the bars may be used to prevent toddlers from falling out! This kind of accidents occasionally happen in my city.

In Zhejiang where I am living it's around 20 or 25 yuan, for taxi cars it's a little cheaper, 10 -20 yuan.
That is less than $2 dollars to fix a tire.

About $30 bucks here to fix a puncture in your tire here in the States.

depends on tire size, in NYC for a needle shot fix from $7 and up, a patch is $15 and up. balance is $8 and up base on shop.
