Well in the hypothetical case we consider neji having better taijutsu than sasuke, which I believe so since sasuke copied lee who lost to neji. Then neji should be able to use his gentle fists on sasuke and block his chakra points in the first taijutsu clash. Preventing sasuke from gathering chakra for the chidori, unless he pop out the curse mark to fix the blocked points. I think that’s unlikely cause neji wouldn’t have the intention to kill unless your name is hinata. Also the mentality of neji would be different in this fight compared to naruto who he thought was incompetent. He’d try to end sasuke faster because he knows sasuke will be able to analyze his taijutsu eventually.
That is what is missed, ppl think that the gentle fist is just strong taijutsu, but each hit on normal ninja is a massive debuff, neji only needs to touch sasuke a few times. Furthermore chidori doesn’t blitz him, even gaaras sand reacted and tried to stop him. Neji would absolutely see it coming and it’s feasible if he could dodge it - all the moreso if he landed any hits earlier, bc they weaken sasuke It’s not even like naruto is stronger/faster than him here, naruto just hard countered his ability to shut down chakra points with kyuubi. Literally any other ninja there save gaara would have lost after getting hit by 64 palms, naruto got stronger and faster instead. Idk if neji *wins* but it is a lot less certain than discussed in the video
@@RyokoEarth The real question would be if Neji would try to close the tenkatsu on the head or the hands, shutting down Sharingan which does still require chakra would stop Sasuke from tracking him or even using Chidori, since it causes a tunnel effect that would make it difficult to use.
Sharingan hard counters gentle fist. Chakra points are very small and require great precision to be hit so the precognition granted by the sharingan will be really valuable in this case.
I don't think the curse mark would fix the blocked tenketsu. We saw Kidomaru being forced out of curse mark level 2 because of the gentle fist. Extrapolate that any source of chakra could unblock the tenketsu just because it worked for Naruto, and only Naruto with a very specific source of chakra, is far fetched to me.
@@marko1263 that’s also depends on how sasuke and neji use their taijutsu as lee and bee pointed out just cause you can see something doesn’t always means you can react to it. Feints in taijutsu or strategy can still work.
Naruto would get the same amp. He got that amp in the Kiba fight. He wants to prove to everyone he’s the strongest. So the fight with Gaara would be very similar to that in the forest. And Naruto would never forfeit. He was scared in the forest but felt he had no choice. If Rock Lee would do anything for his dream, I doubt that Naruto wouldn’t. Naruto is winning against Gaara. Proof is he was terrified to fight Orochimaru and saw Sasuke forfeit, and Naruto wasn’t having that. And that was their chance to get away

While kcm has better travel speed than sage mode sage mode has better reaction speed due to its sensory ability which is why Naruto’s shadow clone beat the third raikage which was also an edo tensie so it naturally regenerates damage it is fair to say that Naruto even in base is a lot stronger when he enters the 4th war than in the 5 kage summit
EXACTLY!!!!! I was waiting for someone to say that. Plus? Naruto genuinely just has WAY better stats than the Raikage. The only person who was able to hurt the Third Raikage was himself and they realized that. Naruto went toe to toe with him and dodged at the LAST second weaving around to hit him with a Rasengan. People also blatantly forget about the Frog Kata. Naruto is decimating with the Frog Kata especially in a room like that Pain was an above Sannin Level threat and Naruto was able to fuck every single one of them up. He simply has far too many physicals for the Raikage to keep up with and he can make up to 2 more shadow clones that have sage mode as well! There is just legitimately no way that the Raikage is winning that fight. Jugo's blast ain't like Naruto's Rasenshuriken ESPECIALLY not the Sage Art: Rasenshuriken. Raikage is definitely getting his ass whooped.

Naruto would def beat Gaara. He sees this dude as a threat and even told Kakashi that he should stop the match. Idk why he wouldnt get an "amp" or use his full aresenal to stop Gaara when he does it like an hour later. He saw what he did to Lee, and had that convo with Shikamaru. Sasuke's arsenal just was never enough to stop Gaara to begin with.
I feel like people overplay Sasuke's speed in the chunin exam. Neji is said to always beat up Lee who is just as fast (arguably faster) than Sasuke and Sasuke can't hold that top speed for that long so Neji would not be that impressed by Sasuke's speed. The only thing Neji didn't know about Lee was that he could open that many gates and that version of Lee would probably win against Neji but weightless Lee gets bullied all day so basically Sasuke's speed is not enough to give him an edge and if he gets hit even once he is done.
Thank you. I was really sitting here like how did they mention the Lee statement and still say Sasuke’s too fast? Like the Sasuke that’s fighting Gaara is not only fatigued from using the chidori in the stadium but also had a short scuffle with Temari before using another chidori, a jutsu so draining he can only use it 3 times without risking dying from chakra depletion. I didn’t hear any argument for why partial transformation Gaara is faster than gated Lee and why a drained Sasuke reacting to Gaara is better than Neji casually reacting to gated Lee. Or why Sasuke hitting Gaara with the 2nd chidori is a better feat than Neji’s clash with Naruto when we see Gaara’s arm is still made of sand and Sasuke already used the same jutsu to negate the sand armor already. Then only reason Sasuke did as well as he did is because of a type advantage. And to make everything worse for Sasuke; even though we never see him do it until the first part of Shippuden, Neji might already be able to see the chakra points of projectile based Ninjustu like the Fireball Jutsu so long range spam doesn’t help him anymore than fighting up close does. And Neji is normally cautious as hell (he kept his Byakugan active and ready to strike Hinata down even though he knew she was defeated, he still trained in the time before his fight with Naruto even though he thought Naruto was a joke although you might say he was training to fight Lee again but that doesn’t make a lot of sense since Lee still wasn’t able to move) and he’s seen how capable Sasuke is or at least the legacy of the Uchiha and wouldn’t be sandbagging like he did against Naruto

He was in base to post link KCM1 for 1-2 chapters. If it’s no restrictions Kabuto can just sever his chakra network from Kurama like he did in part 1. He wanted Sasuke alive so he held back, and he won’t be treating a fatigued KCM Naruto like that. -EMS Sasuke wasn’t “very Intimidated” by Tobirama, he didn’t even use his base 3t sharingan.

Against Edo 3rd Raikage he’s an Edo, any damage is healed before it really effects him. Against Obito he had Kamui. It’s the Amaterasu paradox. Ai got pierced by a chidori from 3t 5KS Sasuke, he is not tanking a rasen shuriken and Naruto has 1 to waste and 1 to land if he pulls what he did against the Third off.
@@hobbyhorse5848 the sage mode that naruto used against raikage 3rd was not as restricted as the sage mode naruto used against pain. The sage mode he used against kyubi is way more freely accessible than the sage mode he used against pain as well. Full ninetails was able to tag naruto in a better sage mode than the pain fight, its proven since with the ninetails battle naruto was able to summon what looks like 50+ clones against the ninetails, he obviously could not do that against pain, so naruto was not wrong when he said that hewas stronger than when he fought pain, taking ninetails chakra for his own, locking away the rest of kurama it look like he took 6 tailsworth of the ninetails chakra, if thats true then kcm> sage mode since the only form naruto was consciously remembering was sage mode, after 4 tails came out naruto was gone, 6 tailsdid way better against tendo pain than sage mode did, kcm~ sage naruto definitively, so with that scaling kcm is above sage mode in the pain arc, but the sage mode grew in efficiency when naruto got kcm chakra unlock, again against pain he could use 4 sage mode clones at max, after kcm he can casually use 50+, completely different story from before which mean naruto stating hes stronger than when he fought pain, it is true

I have a question. How powerful would Rinnegan users would be if the Deva Path allows the user to have total control of gravity? Let's say the Deva Path can do something similar to C Moon by shifting the gravity or turning things inside out. How strong would they be? And speaking about C Moon, can Made in Heaven solo the entire Naruto cast all at the same time?
if we are removing scales of power nagato/pain/deva would be near unstoppable aside genjutsu. if you are taking scaling into account, hes arguably half of the full ninetails level. while heavily fatigued an having fought 6 tails, pain could basically throw hands with it the entire time. then at 8 tails he has to give himself an aneurysm to hold 8 tails. increasing the variability of the gravity technique doesnt necessarily increase the power. it just gives you more ways to finesse your opponent. so the true answer to your question is it doesnt change much about their total battle prowess except they have a few more moves in their arsenal if they wanna be gruesome to their opponent.
While Made in Heaven doesn't have any direct combat prowess, it's the fact that no one outside of time stop users and most definitely GE:R could do anything against it. Well, that and WR. Basically, to answer your question...yes, Made in Heaven would be able to destroy all of Naruto as they wouldn't be able to do anything against it.

Hi. Great video as always. Revisiting old topics to see how your opinions and analysis has changed is really fun. Just wanted to throw in my two cents on some fights. I know Sasuke is your guy, but there is a lot of Sasuke bias in the part one section of the video and it left me a little disappointed because I feel like I know part one very well, so it's mainly in regards to that. The Naruto vs Gaara in this video was also interesting, so I have a note on that as well. This is a minor thing, but I actually think Kiba could take the win off of Sasuke even without the plot nerfs. Among the Genin kids, Kiba has some of the best speed, taijutsu skill and straight up AP feats. Naruto is getting ragdolled by Kiba, and Sasuke is primarily a Taijutsu fighter at this point so I don't see why it would be any different for him. Naruto has much better durability showings than Sasuke, and he only managed to get the win through a trick that Sasuke could never replicate. Neji is stated by Lee, who obviously knows his own weightless speed, to be in a completely different league from him. Neji is not even impressed by Lee until he opens the fourth gate. Neji saw Cursed Seal Sasuke in the Forest of Death and didn't even flinch. There's no world where Sasuke can beat him in the Taijutsu match. Sasuke's only chance against Neji is Chidori off rip, which is uncharacteristic of him to use that way. Kaiten is stated to be an even more absolute defense than Gaara's sand and it was hurling dozens of Naruto clones around the arena. Chidori has an enormous telegraph and there's no world where Sasuke gets to connect that through Kaiten because Sasuke will get flung by it. That kind of attack has never been shown to work against Kaiten no matter who was doing it. Sasuke gets beaten by Neji in pure Taijutsu skill and it's a bad match up for him because his only AP feat is negated by Neji. I'm honestly not even sure if Sasuke with CS1 can beat Neji. Sasuke vs Gaara was not even remotely close, and neither was Lee vs Gaara for that matter. Sasuke used Chidori, his trump card that he only gets two shots with, in order to INJURE Gaara. After Sasuke hits Gaara with Chidori, after which he immediately panics and runs away from Gaara. When we continue the fight in the forest, Transformed Gaara gets injured one more time by Sasuke and then destroys him. If you have to use your trump card twice and completely deplete all of your energy to simply INJURE your opponent, then that opponent immediately goes on to have a fight with someone who is significantly stronger than you are, you were not even close to winning that fight. When Naruto gets his mental amp to protect the village from Gaara afterward, Sasuke is dumbfounded and utters the phrase "What kind of fight even is this?" as his ego is irreparably shattered for the rest of part one because of how much stronger Naruto and Gaara are than he is. Gaara is a different animal compared to the other kids. On Naruto vs Gaara, this is a weird one to discuss because of how you could view the circumstances of battle with the rules you presented. If blood must be drawn from Gaara in order to force Shukaku transformation, Naruto stands no chance against the defensive calculating Gaara that Lee and Sasuke had to fight against due to Naruto's lack of AP feats. If Gaara is going to transform anyway due to deteriorating mental state from pressure of the mission, you could argue Naruto would get the same protect the village amp and we already saw that fight. This was one of the more interesting swaps to me because it really depends on how which head space you're in about Gaara's transformation being plot relevant. I personally don't think Gaara transforms like that without the blood drawn, preventing the mental amp which would allow Naruto to get the win, but you could argue either way and it's pretty fair. I also just wanted to say Kimimaro is an absolute freak of nature and his scaling by implication is absurd. Kimimaro is narratively implied to be relative to Haku. Haku is stated to be stronger than Kakashi, and Kakashi is far above CS2 Sasuke. Orochimaru got devastated by Itachi and set out on his life journey to acquire the Sharingan, which he perceived to be the most powerful bloodline. After he met Kimimaro, Orochimaru decided he didn't need the Sharingan anymore until Kimimaro fell ill. Orochimaru thought that if Kimimaro wasn't sick that he would have been able to fight against Hiruzen. Kimimaro survived Gaara's Sand Tsunami Imperial Funeral and immediately stood up for a killshot on Gaara. When he was revived in the War Arc, Kimimaro was effortless demolishing platoons of shinobi and samurai. Haku also had that level of feat during his resurrection in the War Arc, which is consistent with their scaling. Kabuto placed Kimimaro in the same category of ninja as Chiyo and Hanzo. Kimimaro is straight up Kage level.
To be fair about the last point, that Kimimaro was liberated from his terminal illness. It is still straight up insane however that base/barely curse mark 1 healthy Kimimaro took on Mifune and thousands of samurai with a nerfed Chiyo for a whole day (Mifune is sannin level and just a few dozen samurai led by Mifune’s lieutenant actually captured Suigetsu and Jugo and threw them in jail).
Doesn’t I say Sasuke only win 1 fight in part 1 in this video and it’s a commonly debatable topic? I’ve gotten a couple comments on Neji vs Sasuke and have quite literally done videos on the matchup up before, there will just never be any kind of conclusion to it I think Sasuke wins, I think Neji has a way better chance if Sasuke can’t use chidori from a win con aspect and speed which I do allude to in the vid. The Kimimaro used is not the same one in the war arc he can only function via moving his body via his mind and is clearly not the same one fighting a kyuubi Naruto clone, I felt like that one was pretty clear especially since we said he loses. @@hobbyhorse5848 Oh sure yeah, War Arc usually isn't very relevant to Part 1 scaling. It just goes to show how consistent the parallel is if Kimimaro = Haku continues to be true that far into the series. I was mainly just trying to detail that Kimimaro is so far above most everyone else in the series at that point that it's a bit silly to suggest that CS2 Sasuke could put pressure on him. Chiyo is also pretty insane through implication. She fought Hanzo multiple times and lived to tell about it, even doing that one time elevated people to legendary status in the world.
Naruto has a thousand shadow clones and tons of ways to merk Danza till he runs out of izanagi , on top of that if he uses the 9 tails chakra danzos wood style would react to it and Danzo would lose control.. Just with how much Charkra naruto has naruto is more suited for a long drawn out fight with Danzo,Sasuke was struggling and just getting use to the MS powers This is after naruto has beaten pain.. With sage mode Naruto sense everything Danza is doing the izanagis wont even catch naruto by suprize.. Danzo has nothing for naruto Danzo using 100 izanagi wouldnt beat naruto Naruto would probably beat Danzo easier than what sasuke did
Yes this, Danzo would be an easier fight for Naruto than it was for Sasuke. Danzo's izanagi would be exhausted by Naruto infinite chakra pool compared with his sage mode, Danzo has nothing to kill Naruto with.
So I heard Sasuke had an advantage against Gaara that he did not know about at the time being a lightning style user and Gaara being and earth style user much like deidara... Could I argue that Gaaras defense is particular weak to Sasuke's lightning?. Where as nejis rotation would not be weak to Sasuke's chidori like Gaaras "ultimate defense" obviously was
Also Sasuke doesn't start off with chidori so to think he pulls it out before neji stops him from being able to use it at all is ridiculous Every blow neji lands messes up your chakra control and Sasuke does not have massive chakra like Naruto, messing Naruto's already bad chakra control is not as much as messing Sasuke's good control up.. bad reserves/good control - control = bad, very bad Great reserves/bad control - control = you better block all 64 points or it's near meaningless
As far as Neji vs. Sauske goes there a couple of issues I see which make me disagree with the outcome. If Sasuke is base Lee speed, and Lee thinks he needs up to the 5th gate to beat Neji then Neji should be able to keep pace with Sasuke since he constantly spars with base Lee. Further more Neji's rotation is wind style base. Wind is strong against lightning, so the elemental advantage plus the capability for Neji to react to Sasuke's speed I would say puts him above Sasuke. Lastly as far as eyes go, base Byakugan is superior to base Sharingan. Especially when they aren't even 3 tome, like Sasuke's at the time. Overall Neji has superior jutsu, eyes, elemental advantage, intellect, experience and is stronger than Lee who is stronger than Sasuke. I gotta give it to Neji.

@@exequielbreton4393 it wasn’t with a kunai. it was with the ninetails’ cloak, at least in the manga. and mb i meant rotation is comparable to rasengan as far as properties. they’re both essentially just rotating chakra, but as far as strength, i’m not sure. i can’t think of any reason to say they’re not comparable in strength tho.
What makes me argue that rotation is wind style is based on the fact that Neji, as well as other Hyuga in the series, have shown to be able to use wind style attacks like Air Palm and such. Like, as far as actual jutsu goes, I don't think any Hyuga, other than Buroto, have shown an affinity to use any other nature than wind. So wind seems to be the natural nature affinity that the clan possesses, just like the Uchiha and their affinity for fire nature. Obviously I could be wrong about rotation being wind style, but based on the Neji's jutsu and the clan as a whole it seems that rotation could very easily be a wind style ability.

All I know is that there's no way Naruto beats Diedara. Even if Sasuke's win was BS, everything up that happened before C0 made sense. I don't even think Naruto even makes it to that point bc of how bad of a matchup it is. He probably can do okay vs Danzo bc of his insane chakra reserves but I'm not sure he deduces what's going on as quickly as sasuke does. I don't see him beating Itachi either.
1:04:03 Danzo cannot place a seal on Naruto if he can't find the right Naruto. Worst case scenario, if Danzo succeeds and Naruto is angry enough he can go 8 tails and destroy Danzo.

I disagree with sasuke vs sick orochimaru. Suigetsu just implies that orochimaru with his arms would beat sasuke, which means hiruzen fight orochimaru would beat sasuke not naruto fight orochimaru would beat sasuke. Plus sasuke had been doing secret training the entire time so sasuke is a decent amount stronger than orochimaru thinks. Sasuke’s lightning release was pretty effective against orochimaru, and he shouldn’t really have an answer for his genjutsu or kirin.

And we know that hebi sasuke and a stronger itachi are equal in genjustu with the base sharingan, it's a fact we see that in their figth. @@israelmatulimubalama1496 he cannot use Kirin because it is incredibly circumstantial, he had to trick Itachi into warming the atmosphere himself to use it, Sasuke cannot invoke it by himself in a battle, Kirin is actually a shit jutsu. All that work needed to do it once, and he couldn't even break crippled Itachi's Susanoo with it, let alone KILL four tails Naruto. Orochimaru said base Naruto was much weaker than Sasuke, you cannot extrapolate that comparison to Kyubi Chakra cloak Naruto in any form, and if we use their words as proof, Sasuke said he would lose to an Orochimaru that wasn't literaly in his deathbed. Additionally, hebi Sasuke is not as strong as Itachi, in no way is this implied, to the point that, in the war ark, EMS Sasuke was still being lectured by Itachi in the Kabuto fight. Orochimaru is much stronger than Deidara, and even so, Sasuke, even with the advantage of lightning and script aspull, was sweating at the end of that fight. There's no way Hebi Sasuke scales to 4 tailed Naruto or Orochimaru at that point in time, Orochimaru has jutsu at much greater scale, is much more durable, and is a more experienced fighter.
Frankly, the only reason Sasuke survived his fight with the Raikage at the Kage summit was his insane defense thanks to Susanoo. Naruto doesn't have that. Sure, Naruto and Sasuke are pretty much equal at this point, though I think that's more of an "on average" thing because Naruto has more chakra to pump into his attacks, making them stronger, while Sasuke has tons of defense thanks to Susanoo, but at the end of the day Sasuke would've been bodied without Susanoo and Naruto would end up just like that against the Raikage. Besides, Naruto needed to gain control over Kurama's chakra to even become relevant to Raikage's speed, which is a huge amp compared to his base and a large amp even compared to his Sage Mode. All in all, Naruto gets bodied here
not here to argue, video is dope, but Naruto verse Deidara honestly would be more close. like Sasuke got some god tier level plot armor in that fight, summoning the snake manda and crawling into it's mouth to live from an explosion of like 12 nukes. Theres zero chance in hell Sasuke should of actually survived that. I would argue that though Deidara is kicking Naruto's ass almore at the beginning and middle of the fight, by this point Naruto does have the wind style rasengan and getting beating up bad enough would 100% go into at least 3 or 4 tails state, forcing Deidara to using that nuke ability to end the fight and we all know the healing factor of kurama's chakra, letting alone the defensive capablitiy. Naruto probably would of been scuffed up pretty bad by it still, but he's be walkin and ready to fight within a week or less. you don't gotta agree, but you can't say it wasn't a huge ass pull that Sasuke lived from that fight.
Straight up, I don't think Sssuke could beat Neji during the exams. Its not a matter of who is faster, but who is more skilled. Lee's secret tech to try to beat Neji was the gates. Sasuke copied Lee's movements, which I can only imagine is something Neji is accustomed to, and even if not, no blind spot Byakugan, so moving quick behind Neji is not an advantage. Rotation can probably also deflect Chidori. Then theres the whole thing about Gentle Fist.
Ngl, I don’t necessarily disagree with Sasuke beating Toneri but that statement from the last movie novel don’t mean much to me. 1) Naruto by the end of Shippuden is blatantly stronger than Sasuke….by the time of the last, Sasuke no longer has the chakra of the 9 bijuu while Naruto has gained the other half of Kurama and has been training. Like I get Sasuke has been training too and has gotten more used to the rinnegan but it doesn’t make any logical sense as to how that’s an equal amp to A WHOLE OTHER HALF OF KURAMA. If he still had the bijuu chakra that makes sense but he doesn’t. 2) imma get real nasty rq. Sasuke is effectively Kakashi’s only student. Another video that gets Sasuke vs Neji wrong, using DBZ powerscaling when part 1 of Naruto at least understood and shows us the idea of matchups being more than just x power or x speed. 1. Neji would take sasuke seriously from the start of the fight until the end, he acted like an arrogant idiot vs Naruto, but transferring his behavior from that fight to this one makes no sense 2.Kakashi literally tells Sasuke that chidori is not a weapon to use against an ally, and taught him it so he wouldn't get killed by Gaara. Does that mean he wouldn't use it? Probably not if he gets cornered but by the time that happens his chakra points will be blocked off and he won't be able to. Can the curse mark reopen his points? Possibly, but the second he used it the fight would've been stopped and given to Neji anyways. 3. Sasuke has no knowledge of rotation being in Neji's arsenal, while Neji coming into the fight *may* be aware of Sasuke possibly having chidori since Kakashi is his teacher but even if he doesn't and Guy's knowledge of Sasuke. Sasuke has to be perfect to win this fight, the second his chakra gets disrupted he LOSES. Neji was low diffing Lee until the point he felt he needed the 3rd gate and above, specfially the hidden lotus to beat him, is sasuke with Lee's speed and 2 tomoe sharingan stronger than weightless lee, sure, but above 3rd gate lee is a nah for me. Also he copied LEE'S TAITJUTSU, you know who is used to seeing that style? Neji, the guy on the team with Lee and the upgraded version of him, Guy. That is another significant advantage Neji has. Also it is shown repeatedly that Sasuke needs time to prep his chidori in this ark, so he needs to get distance on Neji form the seals, charge it up, not have any of his points blocked off at this point then charge at Neji, who can use rotation to clash. It's talked about how Neji got one shot by Naruto after the explosion but yet that same explosion did a massive amount of damage to Naruto as well. So to act like Neji doesn't have real durability esp after we see how much he can take in his sound 4 fight is a bit ridic. AND another thing about mental amps, why do we ignore the mental debuff Gaara had coming into his fight with Sasuke? The man is unraveling and going full schizo mode trying to kill lee in the hospital like right before, hanging out on rooftoops and murking Dosu. His family even comments on it. Can Sasuke win this fight? Yes, he has a *win* con that begins and ends with chidori. Nejis win con is hitting Sasuke with his gentle fist at any point during the fight. Considering all of that it'd be pretty weird to say Neji doesn't win more out of 10 than Sasuke.

Moving on to address what you wrote. Points you didn't address or I didn't feel were address properly, or are new points. .Sasuke is using a fighting style Neji is incredibly familiar with, while he has never fought a gentle fist user .You relied pretty heavily on Neji having bad/questionable durability because he loses after an attack he doesn't see coming, and him taking damage from that clash, that also left Naruto (one of the biggest tanks in the series) at the brink of exhaustion, who for *sure* has a mental amp considering his speech about changing the village and fighting to prove failures can change via hard work. .Gaaras declining mental state was noted by his own family and we see it, post his fight with Lee. If you don't think it was a factor for some reason that's fine, but to just wave it off as blood loss ignores his freak out over Guy protecting Lee, him trying to kill Lee SPECIFCALLY in the hospital while acting like a school shooter, which also by the way is a notable part of why Naruto was so scared of him, seeing the look in his eyes and seeing a darker version of himself in the reflection. Naruto was scared of more than just Gaara as a fighter but, what he represented, and his victory over Gaara showed that his philosophy of protecting his friends making him strong was right, which in turn, changed Gaara. I already said that Sasuke has a win con that beings and ends with chidori, the wrong take in this video is not that Sasuke *can* win, its that him winning is a forgone conclusion, or that he wins more than 5/10 times when his win con is not in what he would've done in character against Neji. Also once again Neji has a much simpler and easy win con than Sasuke as well. your (2). Saying that sasuke would just use a smaller chidori isn't applicable to this arc when we see him have to charge each of the three he uses and they are the same, in a wide open battlefield, he needs to disengage from Neji and prep the jutsu. Kakashi does mention the size of it after his rooftop fight with Naruto yes addressed later in (3). Could he find the time in the fight, sure. Can he do it before he gets hit by Neji? It's doubtful, but certainly not clear cut. Sasuke knows Chidori drains his chakra by about 1/2, coming into that fight he knew that he'd need chidori, but he still didn't use it until later on when he needed it to puncture that shell. Gaara is a bigger threat than Neji in this arc, Sasuke has this jutsu for *him* and he still doesn't use it out the gate. I have no reason to believe he'd use it before engaging in cqc with Neji and getting tapped. If we can both acknowledge that Sasuke getting hit by Neji is game over and him using Chidori at the start is very unlikely than I think its more than reasonable to say he doesn't win more then 5/10 times. I can see why you would see it as not being outlandish since the general consensus is that Sasuke wins this fight from other people who have gone over it, but I'd encourage you to rewatch your segment on the fight and see how little of the context that I mentioned in Neji's favor, even if you don't agree does not get mentioned. You and your cohost even seem to agree that Neji does have an advantage in cqc and wave it off with a chidori that sasuke won't be able to use if he gets hit by Neji. There is not a single time this smaller chidori pops up in part 1 from Sasuke, every single time he uses the hand signs, charges it then attacks even in CS2. You could argue he doesn't do it for his 3rd chidori vs Gaara and his rooftop fight with Naruto which makes it, but the manga makes it unclear on whether or not but it'd be weird for him to able to rip out chidori just fine without the hand signs when is he weaker than his post steroids amp, and seeing as how he continues to do it. But anyways I'm not going to argue about a theoretical version of the move we never see beyond a statement from Kakashi. All I'm saying at the end of the day and what gets me on this fight is that it seems like a lot of match up specific points are ignored just to use what I see as lazy scaling when part 1 of Naruto beats us over the head of having specific match ups be good or bad. Like Temari being nightmare fuel for Ten-Ten, or Gaara being a bad match up for Lee. I don't even really want to go into the argument that base Gaara is not wholly inferior to his partial transformation. Appreciate you being fair and for sure I fully acknowledge it’s a debatable topic, I usually acknowledge it as such. Ive literally been on the standpoint that Neji performs well or has an edge until Sasuke can get chidori out, it was definitely one of those things where the rest of the vid was so long proper time just couldn’t be spent. For the record I also wasn’t the one making that durability argument since I don’t think it really matters in this matchup. I went ahead and read the entire comment but, legit there’s so much here I just can’t respond. Apologies on my end too if I came of hot, appreciate the watch and discussion I’ll definitely take a lot of this into account. Specifically the Gaara mental state is something I should have touched on a lot more, even if I don’t think it’s a debug I’ve heard it argued around.

Them thinking Sasuke is beating Neji is wild. At this point, Chidori was a straight line thrust where you blitz your opponent using sharingan to dodge. Neji is the most agile character, arguably moreso than Lee. And if Neji closes his chakra points he is clapped beyond belief.

When they are talking about the kage summit I feel like they don’t take into account Naruto’s fatigue and that he wouldn’t be able to maintain sage mode through all the fights in the summit. Also base Naruto is implied to be equal to blind sasuke immediately after killing Danzig several times and then skirmishing with both kakashi and Sakura.
Dude actually said Sasuke loses to Kiba and Naruto beats Yoroi😂 Sasuke was only in a rough spot BECAUSE he had to fight Yoroi who drained his chakra. If Sasuke fights Kiba without having to fight Yoroi, it’s an easy wash. And if Naruto doesn’t have access to Kyuubi chakra because of the five pronged seal, Yoroi walks all over him.
Sasuke was in a rough spot due to the curse mark he couldn’t use basic chakra to amp his stats let alone fight, Naruto could actually use ninjutsu even if the forest with his seal tightened.
The curse mark made it so he couldn’t use ANY chakra or else the mark would have responded, happens in the forest of death + Kakashi notes this right before the exam, Sasuke himself does too. Yoroi literally just accelerates the process by forcing Sasuke chakra to zero and forcing the curse mark to take over.
@@Sara.Sukuna Neji is inherently weak against long range fighters. Zaku's wind style just covers a lot more area and Dosu's attacks don't even have to make physical contact. Like how he messed up lee. And thats not even getting into Kin's Genjustsu abilities. I'm sorry, but no. The Hidden Sound village has teams that are just built to support and help each other. And Unlike the sound 4. We Team Dosu do exactly this. And keep in mind. Neji in the forest of death didn't have Eight trigrams.

In that specific situation I would see him block Kabuto with the Kurama avater and either break Itachi out, have a clone break itachi out, or just wait for itachi to break himself out

Neji lost his fight ONLY because Naruto was able to tap into an outside chakra source. Given Sasuke cant do the same, if he doesnt IMMEDIATELY blitz Neji with his best attacks, Neji wins the fight through Juuken style debilitation.
@@melovil9199 obviously not, because when Neji broke through Kimimaro's silk armor he was able to seal his chakra points. Curse Marks seem to enhance a persons existing chakra, not exist as an outside power source disconnected from their own chakra.
Sasuke vs Pain is laughable. At that point in the story, Sasuke got murdered 3 times in the same fight by Killer Bee. Even Kage summit Sasuke with Susanoo gets trashed by Pain via attrition.
At the end of the day even with Sage Mode Naruto got clowned by Pain too. Dude destroyed the village and went through a gauntlet of every relevant ninja in the village, then fought a buffed Naruto with two clones as chakra reserves alongside toads providing backup and having intel on Pain’s abilities, and even then Naruto had already lost before Kurama started going wild. No wonder Obito said Pain would’ve done better than Sasuke on the summit, Pain was just at a different level than both of them at that point in the story.
Naruto literally isnt any stronger when he fights gaara than when he fights neji, its literaly the same fight, Naruto takes that w, him not beliving he can do it doesnt mean he couldnt, stop the cope. Also i dont think that chidori just automatically punches through rotation and even beyond that nothing stops neji from just slapping saskues wrist away. Neji rolls saskue up like a blunt and smokes him.
Naruto is making explicitly clear to be amped from a need to protect Sakura, it’s actually a common trend with Leaf Nin that later is brought up as the Will of Fire which plays into the narrative of the leaf being the strongest party due to this. Naruto can’t replicate that feat in every fight or isn’t in a position to do so if his comrades lives aren’t at stake, just like with Iruka

A little disappointed in the downplaying of Naruto's ability to summon Gamabunta. The fight between this NarutovGaara chuunin finals would be taking place not long after Naruto's earned Gamabunta's respect. If Naruto summons him as a result of Gaara being pushed into transforming, Gamabunta's gonna know that's a tailed beast brewing in there and try to stop it before it becomes a problem that could kill him like the Shukaku itself.

It wasn't the sole reason he helped Naruto, and him saying get lost as an initial response is something he'd tell even Jiraiya. He cared about em and wasn't gonna leave the kid hanging. Small edit: The guy's in on a full on summoning contract with Naruto with his consented signature and everything. The idea he doesn't care about Naruto to some people in lieu of this fact boggles me.

@user-hm7tg7mq5q I'd say reread the chapter, friend because that's just inaccurate. Jiraiya was hiding from Gamabunta that whole time--and Gamabunta was yelling for him too. He was keeping a loose eye on the scene, but only returned when Gamabunta left with the signature next to a sleeping Naruto. Jiraiya definitely didn't force him to do anything. Already mentioned why Gamakichi wasn't the full reason why he helped Naruto so I won't go in circles on it.

People don’t realize how big a gap there is between 3tailed version 1 Naruto and 4 tails version 2 Naruto. One cloak in version 2 is already over 8-9 version 1 cloak tails.
Sage mode Naruto beat the 3rd RaKage in the war ark, he could dodge him using sage mode because he can sense faster, also the only reason he survived the Rasen Sheriken is cause he was an Edo Tense, so I’m confident he could’ve beat the 4th Rakage (sorry I can’t spell)
No he survived the rasenshuriken with nearly 0 damage on him , taijutsu can tear edo tensei bodies apart , if a near point blank rasenshuriken didn’t stun edo 3rd raikage who was on auto pilot btw to where he had to pause to heal , whereas instead after tanking the rasenshuriken he interrupted the sealing attempt On him 2 seconds after getting hit with said rasenshuriken then he would’ve indeed tanked it .

Here's a question for Sasuke vs Neji: can Chidori pierce rotation? If yes, Sasuke wins. If no, Neji wins Neji just needs to hit one Chakra point in Sasuke's dominant arm to win too, basically. It'd be an interesting fight, since Sasuke had Lee speed with a Sharingan, but I'm less confident in Sasuke for that one than you guys, just cause I think Sasuke would have issues pre-chidori. And I don't think Sasuke would go straight into the Chidori, and that risks him getting his Chakra blocked and him unable to burst with new Chakra the way Naruto could with the 9 tails chakra
Hope ya see this love the content and I'm late to this, but you know. Naruto is looking for Danzo due to them switching places at the "exact moment and exact form" Sasuke's goal should apply to goal of this fight too, right? Zetsu exposes his presence at the summit when they were covertly looking for Danzo. He has to know that his main objective is kill Danzo. Take into account that he is not in KCM, he's in sage mode fighting the 3rd Raikage in the War Arc >when he realizes that he should hit the 3rd Raikage with his own spear< He is in sage mode preforming this feat he's also a shadow clone when he does this. Contention/implications aside on the 3rd vs 4th speed scaling let's just say they're relative. Having said that, he has sage mode here. So could he fight the 4th at the max speed, i dont think so. However, he can dodge, and possibly even counter with Frog Kata. And at the very least he can react and not get laid out. And his objective is not fighting, it's finding Danzo so him getting away is the priority, technically a win for him. He could dodge, have 2 clones Rasenshuriken the pillars and do exactly what Sasuke did. You could argue quicker too since he realizes it's best case going to be high diff. Although the Raikage still has his 2nd arm and would probably give immediate chase after the dust settles since he still has both arms. Naruto would probably realize immediately that he is unable to win and had to continue looking for Danzo. Obito is always there to bail him out too in worst case scenario declaring war as he does so. It's unfair to Naruto to bring up KCM vs the 3rd Raikage but then leave out the Sage Mode portion of the fight. So i wanted to throw out my take. What do you think? I don’t think sasuke beats Neji because neji could keep his space from any chidori with rotation then use gentle fist and potentially block a his tenketsu points in his eyes stopping his sharigan
1:05:19 This is not really a physical fight so you may as well count that Sasuke as having a limited version of EMS. So he's not necessarily destroyed by lacking sharingan abilities. Now, you gotta consider the main issue: The win condition is to drain Kurama's chakra. Can Sasuke's body even do that at that point? Naruto is able to do a lot just because he's an Uzumaki. Has amazing quantity of chakra and amazing longevity. Without something replacing that like Hashirama cells and/or a very powerful and versatile sealing jutsu like the rinnegan one I don't think most people would be able to survive that.
46:54 Even fully recovered Sasuke can't deal with Pain. It's too troublesome for what he can do. Summon spam will keep him completely busy if he uses Susanoo, shinra tensei can disperse amaterasu and the Preta path can absorb it, Sasuke has no counter to Preta path (while Naruto gets a freebie due to sage mode), and considering the encounter (Itachi and Nagato) in the war arc, I don't think visual genjutsu will be very effective. Not only Sasuke can't win, he doesn't have a chance in hell. Not only he gets outclassed, but it's also a terrible match even for EMS Sasuke (who is way, way more powerful than sage mode Naruto). I think EMS Sasuke has a decent chance but even then I don't think it's a good one. 47:43 It's not a matter of "X is stronger than Y, and Y is stronger than Z so X beats Z". The kind of fighter that Sasuke is has a way higher power requirement to be able to defeat Pain, because Pain has a counter for everything he has. Also he can't convince Nagato to do anything because he doesn't have Talk no jutsu. And all that is, under the assumption that Sasuke starts the fight by destroying the Asura path.
Getting a lot of comments on the Sasuke vs Neji portion of the video - I think it’s entirely fair to say Neji wins I just couldn’t go as in depth as I would have liked due to not wanting to make the video solely about it or due to how I’ve talked about it multiple other times.

Well in the hypothetical case we consider neji having better taijutsu than sasuke, which I believe so since sasuke copied lee who lost to neji. Then neji should be able to use his gentle fists on sasuke and block his chakra points in the first taijutsu clash. Preventing sasuke from gathering chakra for the chidori, unless he pop out the curse mark to fix the blocked points. I think that’s unlikely cause neji wouldn’t have the intention to kill unless your name is hinata. Also the mentality of neji would be different in this fight compared to naruto who he thought was incompetent. He’d try to end sasuke faster because he knows sasuke will be able to analyze his taijutsu eventually.
That is what is missed, ppl think that the gentle fist is just strong taijutsu, but each hit on normal ninja is a massive debuff, neji only needs to touch sasuke a few times. Furthermore chidori doesn’t blitz him, even gaaras sand reacted and tried to stop him. Neji would absolutely see it coming and it’s feasible if he could dodge it - all the moreso if he landed any hits earlier, bc they weaken sasuke
It’s not even like naruto is stronger/faster than him here, naruto just hard countered his ability to shut down chakra points with kyuubi. Literally any other ninja there save gaara would have lost after getting hit by 64 palms, naruto got stronger and faster instead. Idk if neji *wins* but it is a lot less certain than discussed in the video
@@RyokoEarth The real question would be if Neji would try to close the tenkatsu on the head or the hands, shutting down Sharingan which does still require chakra would stop Sasuke from tracking him or even using Chidori, since it causes a tunnel effect that would make it difficult to use.
Sharingan hard counters gentle fist. Chakra points are very small and require great precision to be hit so the precognition granted by the sharingan will be really valuable in this case.
I don't think the curse mark would fix the blocked tenketsu. We saw Kidomaru being forced out of curse mark level 2 because of the gentle fist. Extrapolate that any source of chakra could unblock the tenketsu just because it worked for Naruto, and only Naruto with a very specific source of chakra, is far fetched to me.

The rasenshuriken has damaged the third raikage!! The reanimation regen just kicked in too fast. But the lightning shield did absolutely get pierced.
Naruto would get the same amp. He got that amp in the Kiba fight. He wants to prove to everyone he’s the strongest. So the fight with Gaara would be very similar to that in the forest. And Naruto would never forfeit. He was scared in the forest but felt he had no choice. If Rock Lee would do anything for his dream, I doubt that Naruto wouldn’t. Naruto is winning against Gaara. The only person who was able to hurt the Third Raikage was himself and they realized that. Naruto went toe to toe with him and dodged at the LAST second weaving around to hit him with a Rasengan. People also blatantly forget about the Frog Kata. Naruto is decimating with the Frog Kata especially in a room like that Pain was an above Sannin Level threat and Naruto was able to fuck every single one of them up. He simply has far too many physicals for the Raikage to keep up with and he can make up to 2 more shadow clones that have sage mode as well! There is just legitimately no way that the Raikage is winning that fight. Jugo's blast ain't like Naruto's Rasenshuriken ESPECIALLY not the Sage Art: Rasenshuriken. Naruto would def beat Gaara. He sees this dude as a threat and even told Kakashi that he should stop the match. Idk why he wouldnt get an "amp" or use his full aresenal to stop Gaara when he does it like an hour later. He saw what he did to Lee, and had that convo with Shikamaru. Sasuke's arsenal just was never enough to stop Gaara to begin with.
I feel like people overplay Sasuke's speed in the chunin exam. Neji is said to always beat up Lee who is just as fast (arguably faster) than Sasuke and Sasuke can't hold that top speed for that long so Neji would not be that impressed by Sasuke's speed. The only thing Neji didn't know about Lee was that he could open that many gates and that version of Lee would probably win against Neji but weightless Lee gets bullied all day so basically Sasuke's speed is not enough to give him an edge and if he gets hit even once he is done.

Like the Sasuke that’s fighting Gaara is not only fatigued from using the chidori in the stadium but also had a short scuffle with Temari before using another chidori, a jutsu so draining he can only use it 3 times without risking dying from chakra depletion.
I didn’t hear any argument for why partial transformation Gaara is faster than gated Lee and why a drained Sasuke reacting to Gaara is better than Neji casually reacting to gated Lee. Or why Sasuke hitting Gaara with the 2nd chidori is a better feat than Neji’s clash with Naruto when we see Gaara’s arm is still made of sand and Sasuke already used the same jutsu to negate the sand armor already. Then only reason Sasuke did as well as he did is because of a type advantage.
And to make everything worse for Sasuke; even though we never see him do it until the first part of Shippuden, Neji might already be able to see the chakra points of projectile based Ninjustu like the Fireball Jutsu so long range spam doesn’t help him anymore than fighting up close does. And Neji is normally cautious as hell (he kept his Byakugan active and ready to strike Hinata down even though he knew she was defeated, he still trained in the time before his fight with Naruto even though he thought Naruto was a joke although you might say he was training to fight Lee again but that doesn’t make a lot of sense since Lee still wasn’t able to move) and he’s seen how capable Sasuke is or at least the legacy of the Uchiha and wouldn’t be sandbagging like he did against Naruto

-Naruto vs Kabuto actually Naruto had just ran out of Kurama chakra and needed to build up more. He was in base to post link KCM1 for 1-2 chapters. If it’s no restrictions Kabuto can just sever his chakra network from Kurama like he did in part 1. He wanted Sasuke alive so he held back, and he won’t be treating a fatigued KCM Naruto like that.
-EMS Sasuke wasn’t “very Intimidated” by Tobirama, he didn’t even use his base 3t sharingan.

Against Edo 3rd Raikage he’s an Edo, any damage is healed before it really effects him. Against Obito he had Kamui. It’s the Amaterasu paradox. Ai got pierced by a chidori from 3t 5KS Sasuke, he is not tanking a rasen shuriken and Naruto has 1 to waste and 1 to land if he pulls what he did against the Third off.

The sage mode he used against kyubi is way more freely accessible than the sage mode he used against pain as well. Full ninetails was able to tag naruto in a better sage mode than the pain fight, its proven since with the ninetails battle naruto was able to summon what looks like 50+ clones against the ninetails, he obviously could not do that against pain, so naruto was not wrong when he said that hewas stronger than when he fought pain, taking ninetails chakra for his own, locking away the rest of kurama it look like he took 6 tailsworth of the ninetails chakra, if thats true then kcm> sage mode since the only form naruto was consciously remembering was sage mode, after 4 tails came out naruto was gone, 6 tailsdid way better against tendo pain than sage mode did, kcm~ sage naruto definitively, so with that scaling kcm is above sage mode in the pain arc, but the sage mode grew in efficiency when naruto got kcm chakra unlock, again against pain he could use 4 sage mode clones at max, after kcm he can casually use 50+, completely different story from before which mean naruto stating hes stronger than when he fought pain, it is true

while heavily fatigued an having fought 6 tails, pain could basically throw hands with it the entire time. then at 8 tails he has to give himself an aneurysm to hold 8 tails.
increasing the variability of the gravity technique doesnt necessarily increase the power. it just gives you more ways to finesse your opponent.
so the true answer to your question is it doesnt change much about their total battle prowess except they have a few more moves in their arsenal if they wanna be gruesome to their opponent.
While Made in Heaven doesn't have any direct combat prowess, it's the fact that no one outside of time stop users and most definitely GE:R could do anything against it. Well, that and WR. Basically, to answer your question...yes, Made in Heaven would be able to destroy all of Naruto as they wouldn't be able to do anything against it.

Hi. Great video as always. Revisiting old topics to see how your opinions and analysis has changed is really fun. Just wanted to throw in my two cents on some fights. I know Sasuke is your guy, but there is a lot of Sasuke bias in the part one section of the video and it left me a little disappointed because I feel like I know part one very well, so it's mainly in regards to that. The Naruto vs Gaara in this video was also interesting, so I have a note on that as well.
This is a minor thing, but I actually think Kiba could take the win off of Sasuke even without the plot nerfs. Among the Genin kids, Kiba has some of the best speed, taijutsu skill and straight up AP feats. Naruto is getting ragdolled by Kiba, and Sasuke is primarily a Taijutsu fighter at this point so I don't see why it would be any different for him. Naruto has much better durability showings than Sasuke, and he only managed to get the win through a trick that Sasuke could never replicate.
Neji is stated by Lee, who obviously knows his own weightless speed, to be in a completely different league from him. Neji is not even impressed by Lee until he opens the fourth gate. Neji saw Cursed Seal Sasuke in the Forest of Death and didn't even flinch. There's no world where Sasuke can beat him in the Taijutsu match. Sasuke's only chance against Neji is Chidori off rip, which is uncharacteristic of him to use that way. Kaiten is stated to be an even more absolute defense than Gaara's sand and it was hurling dozens of Naruto clones around the arena. Chidori has an enormous telegraph and there's no world where Sasuke gets to connect that through Kaiten because Sasuke will get flung by it. That kind of attack has never been shown to work against Kaiten no matter who was doing it. Sasuke gets beaten by Neji in pure Taijutsu skill and it's a bad match up for him because his only AP feat is negated by Neji. I'm honestly not even sure if Sasuke with CS1 can beat Neji.
Sasuke vs Gaara was not even remotely close, and neither was Lee vs Gaara for that matter. Sasuke used Chidori, his trump card that he only gets two shots with, in order to INJURE Gaara. After Sasuke hits Gaara with Chidori, after which he immediately panics and runs away from Gaara. When we continue the fight in the forest, Transformed Gaara gets injured one more time by Sasuke and then destroys him. If you have to use your trump card twice and completely deplete all of your energy to simply INJURE your opponent, then that opponent immediately goes on to have a fight with someone who is significantly stronger than you are, you were not even close to winning that fight. When Naruto gets his mental amp to protect the village from Gaara afterward, Sasuke is dumbfounded and utters the phrase "What kind of fight even is this?" as his ego is irreparably shattered for the rest of part one because of how much stronger Naruto and Gaara are than he is. Gaara is a different animal compared to the other kids.
On Naruto vs Gaara, this is a weird one to discuss because of how you could view the circumstances of battle with the rules you presented. If blood must be drawn from Gaara in order to force Shukaku transformation, Naruto stands no chance against the defensive calculating Gaara that Lee and Sasuke had to fight against due to Naruto's lack of AP feats. If Gaara is going to transform anyway due to deteriorating mental state from pressure of the mission, you could argue Naruto would get the same protect the village amp and we already saw that fight. This was one of the more interesting swaps to me because it really depends on how which head space you're in about Gaara's transformation being plot relevant. I personally don't think Gaara transforms like that without the blood drawn, preventing the mental amp which would allow Naruto to get the win, but you could argue either way and it's pretty fair.
I also just wanted to say Kimimaro is an absolute freak of nature and his scaling by implication is absurd. Kimimaro is narratively implied to be relative to Haku. Haku is stated to be stronger than Kakashi, and Kakashi is far above CS2 Sasuke. Orochimaru got devastated by Itachi and set out on his life journey to acquire the Sharingan, which he perceived to be the most powerful bloodline. After he met Kimimaro, Orochimaru decided he didn't need the Sharingan anymore until Kimimaro fell ill. Orochimaru thought that if Kimimaro wasn't sick that he would have been able to fight against Hiruzen. Kimimaro survived Gaara's Sand Tsunami Imperial Funeral and immediately stood up for a killshot on Gaara. When he was revived in the War Arc, Kimimaro was effortless demolishing platoons of shinobi and samurai. Haku also had that level of feat during his resurrection in the War Arc, which is consistent with their scaling. Kabuto placed Kimimaro in the same category of ninja as Chiyo and Hanzo. To be fair about the last point, that Kimimaro was liberated from his terminal illness. It is still straight up insane however that base/barely curse mark 1 healthy Kimimaro took on Mifune and thousands of samurai with a nerfed Chiyo for a whole day (Mifune is sannin level and just a few dozen samurai led by Mifune’s lieutenant actually captured Suigetsu and Jugo and threw them in jail).
Doesn’t I say Sasuke only win 1 fight in part 1 in this video and it’s a commonly debatable topic? I’ve gotten a couple comments on Neji vs Sasuke and have quite literally done videos on the matchup up before, there will just never be any kind of conclusion to it I think Sasuke wins, I think Neji has a way better chance if Sasuke can’t use chidori from a win con aspect and speed which I do allude to in the vid.
The Kimimaro used is not the same one in the war arc he can only function via moving his body via his mind and is clearly not the same one fighting a kyuubi Naruto clone, I felt like that one was pretty clear especially since we said he loses.

It just goes to show how consistent the parallel is if Kimimaro = Haku continues to be true that far into the series. I was mainly just trying to detail that Kimimaro is so far above most everyone else in the series at that point that it's a bit silly to suggest that CS2 Sasuke could put pressure on him. Chiyo is also pretty insane through implication. She fought Hanzo multiple times and lived to tell about it, even doing that one time elevated people to legendary status in the world.

As far as Neji vs. Sauske goes there a couple of issues I see which make me disagree with the outcome.
If Sasuke is base Lee speed, and Lee thinks he needs up to the 5th gate to beat Neji then Neji should be able to keep pace with Sasuke since he constantly spars with base Lee.
Further more Neji's rotation is wind style base. Wind is strong against lightning, so the elemental advantage plus the capability for Neji to react to Sasuke's speed I would say puts him above Sasuke.
Lastly as far as eyes go, base Byakugan is superior to base Sharingan. Especially when they aren't even 3 tome, like Sasuke's at the time.
Overall Neji has superior jutsu, eyes, elemental advantage, intellect, experience and is stronger than Lee who is stronger than Sasuke.
I gotta give it to Neji.

What makes me argue that rotation is wind style is based on the fact that Neji, as well as other Hyuga in the series, have shown to be able to use wind style attacks like Air Palm and such. Like, as far as actual jutsu goes, I don't think any Hyuga, other than Buroto, have shown an affinity to use any other nature than wind. So wind seems to be the natural nature affinity that the clan possesses, just like the Uchiha and their affinity for fire nature.
Obviously I could be wrong about rotation being wind style, but based on the Neji's jutsu and the clan as a whole it seems that rotation could very easily be a wind style ability.

All I know is that there's no way Naruto beats Diedara. Even if Sasuke's win was BS, everything up that happened before C0 made sense. I don't even think Naruto even makes it to that point bc of how bad of a matchup it is. I disagree with sasuke vs sick orochimaru. Suigetsu just implies that orochimaru with his arms would beat sasuke, which means hiruzen fight orochimaru would beat sasuke not naruto fight orochimaru would beat sasuke. Plus sasuke had been doing secret training the entire time so sasuke is a decent amount stronger than orochimaru thinks. Sasuke’s lightning release was pretty effective against orochimaru, and he shouldn’t really have an answer for his genjutsu or kirin.
Sasuke admits out loud of his own volition that tenchi bridge Orochimaru> him and that he waited until he was at deaths door to step up. We see Orochimaru easily break out of Hebi Sasuke’s genjutsu on panel, and he can just poison Sasuke to subdue him like we literally see deathbed Orochimaru do.

All that work needed to do it once, and he couldn't even break crippled Itachi's Susanoo with it, let alone KILL four tails Naruto. Orochimaru said base Naruto was much weaker than Sasuke, you cannot extrapolate that comparison to Kyubi Chakra cloak Naruto in any form, and if we use their words as proof, Sasuke said he would lose to an Orochimaru that wasn't literaly in his deathbed. Additionally, hebi Sasuke is not as strong as Itachi, in no way is this implied, to the point that, in the war ark, EMS Sasuke was still being lectured by Itachi in the Kabuto fight. Orochimaru is much stronger than Deidara, and even so, Sasuke, even with the advantage of lightning and script aspull, was sweating at the end of that fight. Frankly, the only reason Sasuke survived his fight with the Raikage at the Kage summit was his insane defense thanks to Susanoo. Naruto doesn't have that. Sure, Naruto and Sasuke are pretty much equal at this point, though I think that's more of an "on average" thing because Naruto has more chakra to pump into his attacks, making them stronger, while Sasuke has tons of defense thanks to Susanoo, but at the end of the day Sasuke would've been bodied without Susanoo and Naruto would end up just like that against the Raikage. Besides, Naruto needed to gain control over Kurama's chakra to even become relevant to Raikage's speed, which is a huge amp compared to his base and a large amp even compared to his Sage Mode. All in all, Naruto gets bodied here
not here to argue, video is dope, but Naruto verse Deidara honestly would be more close. like Sasuke got some god tier level plot armor in that fight, summoning the snake manda and crawling into it's mouth to live from an explosion of like 12 nukes. Theres zero chance in hell Sasuke should of actually survived that. I would argue that though Deidara is kicking Naruto's ass almore at the beginning and middle of the fight, by this point Naruto does have the wind style rasengan and getting beating up bad enough would 100% go into at least 3 or 4 tails state, forcing Deidara to using that nuke ability to end the fight and we all know the healing factor of kurama's chakra, letting alone the defensive capablitiy. Straight up, I don't think Sssuke could beat Neji during the exams. Its not a matter of who is faster, but who is more skilled. Lee's secret tech to try to beat Neji was the gates. Sasuke copied Lee's movements, which I can only imagine is something Neji is accustomed to, and even if not, no blind spot Byakugan, so moving quick behind Neji is not an advantage. Rotation can probably also deflect Chidori. Then theres the whole thing about Gentle Fist.

1) Naruto by the end of Shippuden is blatantly stronger than Sasuke….by the time of the last, Sasuke no longer has the chakra of the 9 bijuu while Naruto has gained the other half of Kurama and has been training. Like I get Sasuke has been training too and has gotten more used to the rinnegan but it doesn’t make any logical sense as to how that’s an equal amp to A WHOLE OTHER HALF OF KURAMA. If he still had the bijuu chakra that makes sense but he doesn’t.
2) imma get real nasty rq. Sasuke is effectively Kakashi’s only student. Kakashi didn’t teach Sakura squat and he literally pushed Naruto away to teach personally teach Sasuke. Naruto’s teachers were Jiraiya, Bee, and Pa. Yea he came up with a training method for Naruto to master the rasenshuriken and gave him that hint on looking two ways at once, but other than that naruto was basically learning how to do that on his own. mind you, kakashi wouldn’t have even been able to come up with that method if it wasn’t for Yamato.

Another video that gets Sasuke vs Neji wrong, using DBZ powerscaling when part 1 of Naruto at least understood and shows us the idea of matchups being more than just x power or x speed.
1. Neji would take sasuke seriously from the start of the fight until the end, he acted like an arrogant idiot vs Naruto, but transferring his behavior from that fight to this one makes no sense
2.Kakashi literally tells Sasuke that chidori is not a weapon to use against an ally, and taught him it so he wouldn't get killed by Gaara. Does that mean he wouldn't use it? Probably not if he gets cornered but by the time that happens his chakra points will be blocked off and he won't be able to. Can the curse mark reopen his points? Possibly, but the second he used it the fight would've been stopped and given to Neji anyways.
3. Sasuke has no knowledge of rotation being in Neji's arsenal, while Neji coming into the fight *may* be aware of Sasuke possibly having chidori since Kakashi is his teacher but even if he doesn't and Guy's knowledge of Sasuke.
Sasuke has to be perfect to win this fight, the second his chakra gets disrupted he LOSES. Neji was low diffing Lee until the point he felt he needed the 3rd gate and above, specfially the hidden lotus to beat him, is sasuke with Lee's speed and 2 tomoe sharingan stronger than weightless lee, sure, but above 3rd gate lee is a nah for me. Also he copied LEE'S TAITJUTSU, you know who is used to seeing that style? Neji, the guy on the team with Lee and the upgraded version of him, Guy. That is another significant advantage Neji has.
Also it is shown repeatedly that Sasuke needs time to prep his chidori in this ark, so he needs to get distance on Neji form the seals, charge it up, not have any of his points blocked off at this point then charge at Neji, who can use rotation to clash. It's talked about how Neji got one shot by Naruto after the explosion but yet that same explosion did a massive amount of damage to Naruto as well. So to act like Neji doesn't have real durability esp after we see how much he can take in his sound 4 fight is a bit ridic.
AND another thing about mental amps, why do we ignore the mental debuff Gaara had coming into his fight with Sasuke? The man is unraveling and going full schizo mode trying to kill lee in the hospital like right before, hanging out on rooftoops and murking Dosu. His family even comments on it.
Can Sasuke win this fight? Yes, he has a *win* con that begins and ends with chidori. Nejis win con is hitting Sasuke with his gentle fist at any point during the fight. Considering all of that it'd be pretty weird to say Neji doesn't win more out of 10 than Sasuke.
1: IDK what point this is since you'd have to extend this argument to sasuke since he was toying around with Gaara in base
2: He'd use it to win the exam he can change how powerful the jutsu as the chidori can very in size as demonstrated when kakashi ostracizes sasuke for using it with enough force to kill naruto in their match.

If you want to say Base to Base Neji can block Sasuke's Tenketsu before he preps chidori since he should be faster that's entirely fair, but, chidori is pretty definitive, with sasuke having much better reaction feats than this Neji. I don't have any issue with dudes saying Neji win I just believe it's more consistent for Sasuke and have my own opinions. I quite ltierally say in the vid that even if you think Neji is superior in this category or the other because Chidori is so much stronger along with better feats against a much stronger Gaara. Points you didn't address or I didn't feel were address properly, or are new points.
.Sasuke is using a fighting style Neji is incredibly familiar with, while he has never fought a gentle fist user
.You relied pretty heavily on Neji having bad/questionable durability because he loses after an attack he doesn't see coming, and him taking damage from that clash, that also left Naruto (one of the biggest tanks in the series) at the brink of exhaustion, who for *sure* has a mental amp considering his speech about changing the village and fighting to prove failures can change via hard work.
.Gaaras declining mental state was noted by his own family and we see it, post his fight with Lee. If you don't think it was a factor for some reason that's fine, but to just wave it off as blood loss ignores his freak out over Guy protecting Lee, him trying to kill Lee SPECIFCALLY in the hospital while acting like a school shooter, which also by the way is a notable part of why Naruto was so scared of him, seeing the look in his eyes and seeing a darker version of himself in the reflection. Naruto was scared of more than just Gaara as a fighter but, what he represented, and his victory over Gaara showed that his philosophy of protecting his friends making him strong was right, which in turn, changed Gaara.
I already said that Sasuke has a win con that beings and ends with chidori, the wrong take in this video is not that Sasuke *can* win, its that him winning is a forgone conclusion, or that he wins more than 5/10 times when his win con is not in what he would've done in character against Neji. Also once again Neji has a much simpler and easy win con than Sasuke as well.

Saying that sasuke would just use a smaller chidori isn't applicable to this arc when we see him have to charge each of the three he uses and they are the same, in a wide open battlefield, he needs to disengage from Neji and prep the jutsu. Kakashi does mention the size of it after his rooftop fight with Naruto yes addressed later in (3). Could he find the time in the fight, sure. Can he do it before he gets hit by Neji? It's doubtful, but certainly not clear cut. Sasuke knows Chidori drains his chakra by about 1/2, coming into that fight he knew that he'd need chidori, but he still didn't use it until later on when he needed it to puncture that shell. Gaara is a bigger threat than Neji in this arc, Sasuke has this jutsu for *him* and he still doesn't use it out the gate. I have no reason to believe he'd use it before engaging in cqc with Neji and getting tapped. If we can both acknowledge that Sasuke getting hit by Neji is game over and him using Chidori at the start is very unlikely than I think its more than reasonable to say he doesn't win more then 5/10 times.
I can see why you would see it as not being outlandish since the general consensus is that Sasuke wins this fight from other people who have gone over it, but I'd encourage you to rewatch your segment on the fight and see how little of the context that I mentioned in Neji's favor, even if you don't agree does not get mentioned. You and your cohost even seem to agree that Neji does have an advantage in cqc and wave it off with a chidori that sasuke won't be able to use if he gets hit by Neji. If you wanted

A smaller chidori is being implied by Kakashi to be less powerful, by how much, no idea, but I don't see where it means Sasuke would be able to make it fast enough to stop Neji from attacking him. There is not a single time this smaller chidori pops up in part 1 from Sasuke, every single time he uses the hand signs, charges it then attacks even in CS2. You could argue he doesn't do it for his 3rd chidori vs Gaara and his rooftop fight with Naruto which makes it, but the manga makes it unclear on whether or not but it'd be weird for him to able to rip out chidori just fine without the hand signs when is he weaker than his post steroids amp, and seeing as how he continues to do it. But anyways I'm not going to argue about a theoretical version of the move we never see beyond a statement from Kakashi.
All I'm saying at the end of the day and what gets me on this fight is that it seems like a lot of match up specific points are ignored just to use what I see as lazy scaling when part 1 of Naruto beats us over the head of having specific match ups be good or bad. Like Temari being nightmare fuel for Ten-Ten, or Gaara being a bad match up for Lee.
I don't even really want to go into the argument that base Gaara is not wholly inferior to his partial transformation.

Ive literally been on the standpoint that Neji performs well or has an edge until Sasuke can get chidori out, it was definitely one of those things where the rest of the vid was so long proper time just couldn’t be spent. For the record I also wasn’t the one making that durability argument since I don’t think it really matters in this matchup.

Them thinking Sasuke is beating Neji is wild. At this point, Chidori was a straight line thrust where you blitz your opponent using sharingan to dodge. Neji is the most agile character, arguably moreso than Lee. And if Neji closes his chakra points he is clapped beyond belief.

Why would you @ThunderGodTG feel as though Itachi uses Amaterasu on Naruto? Itachi intentionally lost to Sasuke at the hideout, if his goal is to ultimately fight Sasuke, why not just beat Naruto unconcious or slip away worst case scenario? Why use an extremely lethal move on Naruto?

When they are talking about the kage summit I feel like they don’t take into account Naruto’s fatigue and that he wouldn’t be able to maintain sage mode through all the fights in the summit. Also base Naruto is implied to be equal to blind sasuke immediately after killing Danzig several times and then skirmishing with both kakashi and Sakura.

Sasuke was only in a rough spot BECAUSE he had to fight Yoroi who drained his chakra. If Sasuke fights Kiba without having to fight Yoroi, it’s an easy wash. And if Naruto doesn’t have access to Kyuubi chakra because of the five pronged seal, Yoroi walks all over him.
Sasuke was in a rough spot due to the curse mark he couldn’t use basic chakra to amp his stats let alone fight, Naruto could actually use ninjutsu even if the forest with his seal tightened.

The curse mark made it so he couldn’t use ANY chakra or else the mark would have responded, happens in the forest of death + Kakashi notes this right before the exam, Sasuke himself does too. Yoroi literally just accelerates the process by forcing Sasuke chakra to zero and forcing the curse mark to take over.
The Team Dosu fight is so incredibly underrated in the arc.

In that specific situation I would see him block Kabuto with the Kurama avater and either break Itachi out, have a clone break itachi out, or just wait for itachi to break himself out

At the end of the day even with Sage Mode Naruto got clowned by Pain too. Dude destroyed the village and went through a gauntlet of every relevant ninja in the village, then fought a buffed Naruto with two clones as chakra reserves alongside toads providing backup and having intel on Pain’s abilities, and even then Naruto had already lost before Kurama started going wild. No wonder Obito said Pain would’ve done better than Sasuke on the summit, Pain was just at a different level than both of them at that point in the story.

Naruto is making explicitly clear to be amped from a need to protect Sakura, it’s actually a common trend with Leaf Nin that later is brought up as the Will of Fire which plays into the narrative of the leaf being the strongest party due to this. Naruto can’t replicate that feat in every fight or isn’t in a position to do so if his comrades lives aren’t at stake, just like with Iruka

A little disappointed in the downplaying of Naruto's ability to summon Gamabunta. The fight between this NarutovGaara chuunin finals would be taking place not long after Naruto's earned Gamabunta's respect. If Naruto summons him as a result of Gaara being pushed into transforming, Gamabunta's gonna know that's a tailed beast brewing in there and try to stop it before it becomes a problem that could kill him like the Shukaku itself.

@user-hm7tg7mq5q I'd say reread the chapter, friend because that's just inaccurate. Jiraiya was hiding from Gamabunta that whole time--and Gamabunta was yelling for him too. He was keeping a loose eye on the scene, but only returned when Gamabunta left with the signature next to a sleeping Naruto. Jiraiya definitely didn't force him to do anything. Already mentioned why Gamakichi wasn't the full reason why he helped Naruto so I won't go in circles on it.

No he survived the rasenshuriken with nearly 0 damage on him , taijutsu can tear edo tensei bodies apart , if a near point blank rasenshuriken didn’t stun edo 3rd raikage who was on auto pilot btw to where he had to pause to heal , whereas instead after tanking the rasenshuriken he interrupted the sealing attempt
On him 2 seconds after getting hit with said rasenshuriken then he would’ve indeed tanked it .

Here's a question for Sasuke vs Neji: can Chidori pierce rotation? If yes, Sasuke wins. If no, Neji wins Neji just needs to hit one Chakra point in Sasuke's dominant arm to win too, basically. It'd be an interesting fight, since Sasuke had Lee speed with a Sharingan, but I'm less confident in Sasuke for that one than you guys, just cause I think Sasuke would have issues pre-chidori. And I don't think Sasuke would go straight into the Chidori, and that risks him getting his Chakra blocked and him unable to burst with new Chakra the way Naruto could with the 9 tails chakra

Hope ya see this love the content and I'm late to this, but you know. Naruto is looking for Danzo due to them switching places at the "exact moment and exact form" Sasuke's goal should apply to goal of this fight too, right? Zetsu exposes his presence at the summit when they were covertly looking for Danzo. He has to know that his main objective is kill Danzo.
Take into account that he is not in KCM, he's in sage mode fighting the 3rd Raikage in the War Arc >when he realizes that he should hit the 3rd Raikage with his own spear< He is in sage mode preforming this feat he's also a shadow clone when he does this. Contention/implications aside on the 3rd vs 4th speed scaling let's just say they're relative. Having said that, he has sage mode here. So could he fight the 4th at the max speed, i dont think so. However, he can dodge, and possibly even counter with Frog Kata. And at the very least he can react and not get laid out. And his objective is not fighting, it's finding Danzo so him getting away is the priority, technically a win for him.
He could dodge, have 2 clones Rasenshuriken the pillars and do exactly what Sasuke did. You could argue quicker too since he realizes it's best case going to be high diff. Although the Raikage still has his 2nd arm and would probably give immediate chase after the dust settles since he still has both arms. Naruto would probably realize immediately that he is unable to win and had to continue looking for Danzo. Obito is always there to bail him out too in worst case scenario declaring war as he does so.
It's unfair to Naruto to bring up KCM vs the 3rd Raikage but then leave out the Sage Mode portion of the fight. So i wanted to throw out my take. What do you think?

I do wonder if the perception would allow him to preform similar parry-style reactions and turn the 4ths momentum on himself or just have to block/dodge. It's not like the 4th uses a spear it's like actually decking somebody with your arm. Would he just like do similar reaction style counterattack. Instead of just pushing the arm back into his chest, he'd just break his elbow or something. hit the elbow with a rasengan or something while he's using the Lariat and make the Raikage punch himself in the head hahaha

I don’t think sasuke beats Neji because neji could keep his space from any chidori with rotation then use gentle fist and potentially block a his tenketsu points in his eyes stopping his sharigan
1:05:19 This is not really a physical fight so you may as well count that Sasuke as having a limited version of EMS. So he's not necessarily destroyed by lacking sharingan abilities.
Now, you gotta consider the main issue: The win condition is to drain Kurama's chakra. Can Sasuke's body even do that at that point? Naruto is able to do a lot just because he's an Uzumaki. Has amazing quantity of chakra and amazing longevity. Without something replacing that like Hashirama cells and/or a very powerful and versatile sealing jutsu like the rinnegan one I don't think most people would be able to survive that.
46:54 Even fully recovered Sasuke can't deal with Pain. It's too troublesome for what he can do. Summon spam will keep him completely busy if he uses Susanoo, shinra tensei can disperse amaterasu and the Preta path can absorb it, Sasuke has no counter to Preta path (while Naruto gets a freebie due to sage mode), and considering the encounter (Itachi and Nagato) in the war arc, I don't think visual genjutsu will be very effective. Not only Sasuke can't win, he doesn't have a chance in hell. Not only he gets outclassed, but it's also a terrible match even for EMS Sasuke (who is way, way more powerful than sage mode Naruto). I think EMS Sasuke has a decent chance but even then I don't think it's a good one.
47:43 It's not a matter of "X is stronger than Y, and Y is stronger than Z so X beats Z". The kind of fighter that Sasuke is has a way higher power requirement to be able to defeat Pain, because Pain has a counter for everything he has. Also he can't convince Nagato to do anything because he doesn't have Talk no jutsu.
And all that is, under the assumption that Sasuke starts the fight by destroying the Asura path.
