This composition is the title piece for Timothy's album Here On This Ridge (1997), produced in collaboration with the Shenandoah National Park Association.

It’s like a violin but opposite
There is a separate string for each note, so you move the bow from string to string rather than move the left hand's fingers to get different notes.
