We have just left our homeland and moved to New York and my husband was in the middle of his Emergency Medicine Residency and back then he was on call 30 hours every 4 days. Didn’t know a soul in NY and I didn’t want to burden him because he was exhausted and still he always helped me. Reading the bible for the first time saved me . Arlynn , I have cried so much watching you describe your post-partum experience and I thank you for being so honest. I have suffer from horrible panic attacks but now when I feel anxious I just go and walk and walk and being around nature helps. I have dealt with Covid by eating my emotions and gained 25 pounds😫. Your honesty has probably saved someone today. God bless you girl😘.

Thank you my sweet Arlynn for addressing anxiety. I used to suffer with it but thank God with His help and EMDR therapy with a loving compassionate therapist I am healed! I too hate medication. I’m a huge advocate of this therapy. It brought up the cause of this anxiety and the truth set me free! And if I can get well ANY one can!!! Much love to you as always!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I to have suffered from Anxiety and Panic Attacks for most of my life. Arlynn you are correct you do learn ways to cope as you go through them. Deep breathing and counting from 100 backwards really helped me! Just to know that you are not alone in itself is very comforting. I am almost 62 and the closer my walk with the Lord gets the more I rely and trust in Him to handle my issues. I pray for love and comfort for all suffers! 🙏🏼❤️
Hi Pretty Lady, I was crying right along with you. My Dad had dementia and it is a terrible disease, I understand what you mean. Every day was a struggle he wouldn't remember if he ate,where he was. He passed 6 years ago, I miss him every hour of every day, he is my Hero. On a lighter note loved your haul. as I always do. Great to see what is out there and how you utilize it in your home. Of course at the end when I saw Mave, my heart just melted and I laughed. I am so happy your knee is feeling better. Have a nice evening. Love you to bits

Hi Arlynn I love watching your youtube videos, I've actually learned to make a funky bow. You really touched me tonight telling about your panic attacks and spinal headaches. I have suffered from both and I know what you mean. The panic attacks did disable me for a while, I read and tried everything I could find on the subject. One day I was praying , asking God to help me and all of a sudden I was saying, " I'm not going to let this happen to me anymore." It didn't happen instantly, but I'm doing so much better now. I'm praying for everyone having those problems. You, Liz, Bev and Bella bring a lot of joy to my life, I'm 81 yrs old and I'm learning to decorate !

I really enjoy you sharing your story with mental health. I too, am a naturally nervous person. Meditation has absolutely changed my life. I’ve been in sobriety for almost 8 years now. Since getting sober anxiety is just always somewhat present. When the lockdowns happened last year it gas lit me to another level. Now as things are getting back to normal I’m seeing some relief now. Thank you again so much for sharing this and assisting in ending the stigma around mental health ♥️

Hi Arlynn first of all your blouse and necklace is beautiful and the blue matches your eyes. You bought some really nice decor pieces and I have also changed my decor in my home to blue and white. I haven’t been shopping because our Province is on lockdown has been for a month so far and shopping is one of life’s pleasures for me. I have subscribed to Traditions by the Seasons and also love Liz and her decorating. I get anxiety when I go into hospitals or to see doctors now after I went through so much with my husband dying of cancer two years ago. I saw the strongest man I knew get weaker every day and die but I’m staying strong and have my daughters and granddaughter to live for. Thank you for talking about this subject it helps. My mother died from dementia. I told my mother I would be her memory when she couldn’t remember. It was so sad. I know how hard it is. I use to have anxiety attacks especially at night. It is horrible. I take clonopin or I would not sleep. Also I am CBD certified. I take CBD OIL. Which my other business is First Fitness Nutrition. I love watching you more than you know. 💕💕💕

Thanks for your raw honesty dear sister in Christ. Thanks for your daily message as I struggle with chronic pain. I'm close in age to you and my 1st grandchild Simon is only 5 months older than Mav. I have suffered the heartache of a mother forgetting me too. She had awful spells where she would fall and forget everybody for a few days. This happened over and over again until she got into long term care. Thankfully now that she's getting fed well and they are handling her medication she can carry a conversation quite well and knows me. For now. Thanks for your company. As for projects, your girls asked you for wreaths a while back and you were awaiting instructions. My mom asked for a wreath for her room at the home I need to get to. Have a great weekend. 💕🇨🇦
I too had a spinal headache after I was in labor with my “baby” the almost 10# now 39 years ago is 6’2” “baby” the doctor told my to have my husband bring in any liquor that I liked and they supplied the soda or orange juice. But end up with a spinal patch 2 days by later which didn’t help very much. Gee I wonder if that’s one of the reasons I still have headaches today? Glad to see that healing! Have a great week
I love your haul. Those kitchen towels are really nice. Wow, that’s wild to hear about the bears in your area. I would love to have all those birds to watch. We don’t have a lot of different birds here in the desert that I’ve seen, road runners, hummingbirds and those messy pigeons. I can relate to the anxiety issues. I’ve had it my whole life. It has held me back from doing things I’ve wanted to do. But it is what it is and I deal with it the best I can. It’s hard for people to understand it if they haven’t experienced it. I've had both most of my life due to things that happened early on. I had to reach out for help when I was in college. The meds have helped me live a pretty normal life that I never thought I would have. I hope people realize they can reach out for help and not live a life of dread, pain and anxiety. There is help out there.

Hi Arlynn, I always enjoy your videos. Seeing little Maverick is such a treat. He’s looking a little more like a toddler. Such a handsome little guy. I think you’re right in that we all struggle with anxiety for one reason or another, certainly with everything going on in in the US and around the world. I have to force myself to get out of the house sometimes since I have been working from home full time for over a year. One of the thing that I love about you is that you are an open book. I’m the same way and sometimes people will tease me about things I’ve shared, but that’s OK. Is all in good fun at least. None of us are perfect. We are all perfectly imperfect. I saw a t-shirt recently that read, “I’m not perfect, but Jesus thinks I’m to die for”. 😁

One day she said to me I think I should know you. I said you're my Mother, she said I'm so glad I am. That was touching. It was hard for us when she couldnt remember us. But she remember my husband and her preacher until she couldnt talk Hope you don't care me sharing that with you. But I do understand what you went through Maverick has such bezels dark eyes. Seeking professional help for my anxiety disorder has been the best thing that’s happened to me. And if you need medication (like i do!) there’s absolutely no shame in that. Let someone give you the tools to cope with how anxiety shows up in your life- so that you can have a better quality of life!

I experienced anxiety after the sudden death of my husband. I agree about medication and haven’t taken anything. I relied on the Lord and wrote in a journal my friend gave me after Alan’s death. I still experience loneliness especially during the pandemic, but as things get back to being more normal I feel better. I try to focus on the happy memories we made during the 53 years we were married when I feel alone. My friends, family and faith have sustained me.
The top you have on in this video I thought looked gorgeous on you! Loved it. I also like your headband. If you can tell me where you purchased that would be appreciated. They aren't usually comfortable and hurt my head. My heart felt your pain about your mom. Thanks for being transparent. XO

Thanks for sharing I can totally relate! I’ve had anxiety on and off throughout my life and never taken meds for it either just always dealt w it. After I had my son I don’t think I was depressed I think I had postpartum anxiety bad. I had really irrational fears that something was going to happen to him, and could only leave him with someone else for an hour max before I’d basically have a panic attack. I was always filling out the questionnaires at the pediatrician w how I thought they wanted me to answer bc I was afraid if I put how I was really feeling they’d take him away or make me take meds. It did go away after a while but the pandemic did trigger some anxiety to come back especially early on when there were so many unknowns. I also am prone to seasonal anxiety in the winter. What helps me is praying about it asking God to take the anxiety away and give me his peace and also keeping busy doing projects or cleaning.
This is all part of your UA-cam job so stop justifying why you shop for items to do your home decor. This is between you and Chris and no one else. If someone doesn't like it stop watching.

I to have suffered from Anxiety and Panic Attacks for most of my life. Arlynn you are correct you do learn ways to cope as you go through them. Deep breathing and counting from 100 backwards really helped me! Just to know that you are not alone in itself is very comforting. I am almost 62 and the closer my walk with the Lord gets the more I rely and trust in Him to handle my issues. I pray for love and comfort for all suffers! 🙏🏼❤️

Hi Pretty Lady, I was crying right along with you. My Dad had dementia and it is a terrible disease, I understand what you mean. Every day was a struggle he wouldn't remember if he ate,where he was. He passed 6 years ago, I miss him every hour of every day, he is my Hero. On a lighter note loved your haul. as I always do. Great to see what is out there and how you utilize it in your home. Hi Arlynn I love watching your youtube videos, I've actually learned to make a funky bow. You really touched me tonight telling about your panic attacks and spinal headaches. I have suffered from both and I know what you mean. The panic attacks did disable me for a while, I read and tried everything I could find on the subject. One day I was praying , asking God to help me and all of a sudden I was saying, " I'm not going to let this happen to me anymore." It didn't happen instantly, but I'm doing so much better now. I'm praying for everyone having those problems. You, Liz, Bev and Bella bring a lot of joy to my life, I'm 81 yrs old and I'm learning to decorate !

I really enjoy you sharing your story with mental health. I too, am a naturally nervous person. Meditation has absolutely changed my life. I’ve been in sobriety for almost 8 years now. Since getting sober anxiety is just always somewhat present. When the lockdowns happened last year it gas lit me to another level. Now as things are getting back to normal I’m seeing some relief now. Thank you again so much for sharing this and assisting in ending the stigma around mental health ♥️

Hi Arlynn first of all your blouse and necklace is beautiful and the blue matches your eyes. You bought some really nice decor pieces and I have also changed my decor in my home to blue and white. I haven’t been shopping because our Province is on lockdown has been for a month so far and shopping is one of life’s pleasures for me. I have subscribed to Traditions by the Seasons and also love Liz and her decorating. I get anxiety when I go into hospitals or to see doctors now after I went through so much with my husband dying of cancer two years ago. I saw the strongest man I knew get weaker every day and die but I’m staying strong and have my daughters and granddaughter to live for. Thank you for talking about this subject it helps. My mother died from dementia. I told my mother I would be her memory when she couldn’t remember. It was so sad. I know how hard it is. I use to have anxiety attacks especially at night. It is horrible. I take clonopin or I would not sleep. Also I am CBD certified. I take CBD OIL. Which my other business is First Fitness Nutrition. I love watching you more than you know. 💕💕💕

Thanks for your raw honesty dear sister in Christ. Thanks for your daily message as I struggle with chronic pain. I'm close in age to you and my 1st grandchild Simon is only 5 months older than Mav. I have suffered the heartache of a mother forgetting me too. She had awful spells where she would fall and forget everybody for a few days. This happened over and over again until she got into long term care. Thankfully now that she's getting fed well and they are handling her medication she can carry a conversation quite well and knows me. For now. Thanks for your company. As for projects, your girls asked you for wreaths a while back and you were awaiting instructions. My mom asked for a wreath for her room at the home I need to get to. Have a great weekend. 💕🇨🇦
I too had a spinal headache after I was in labor with my “baby” the almost 10# now 39 years ago is 6’2” “baby” the doctor told my to have my husband bring in any liquor that I liked and they supplied the soda or orange juice. But end up with a spinal patch 2 days by later which didn’t help very much. Gee I wonder if that’s one of the reasons I still have headaches today? Glad to see that healing! Have a great week
I love your haul. Those kitchen towels are really nice. Wow, that’s wild to hear about the bears in your area. I would love to have all those birds to watch. We don’t have a lot of different birds here in the desert that I’ve seen, road runners, hummingbirds and those messy pigeons.
I can relate to the anxiety issues. I’ve had it my whole life. It has held me back from doing things I’ve wanted to do. But it is what it is and I deal with it the best I can. It’s hard for people to understand it if they haven’t experienced it. I’m glad you told us about your experiences.

Loved this video. I really love those lanterns and can't wait to see them on the tray Chris made for you. Thank you for sharing your feeling on depression and anxiety. I've had both most of my life due to things that happened early on. I had to reach out for help when I was in college. The meds have helped me live a pretty normal life that I never thought I would have. I hope people realize they can reach out for help and not live a life of dread, pain and anxiety. There is help out there.

I think you’re right in that we all struggle with anxiety for one reason or another, certainly with everything going on in in the US and around the world. I have to force myself to get out of the house sometimes since I have been working from home full time for over a year. One of the thing that I love about you is that you are an open book. I’m the same way and sometimes people will tease me about things I’ve shared, but that’s OK. Is all in good fun at least. None of us are perfect. We are all perfectly imperfect. I saw a t-shirt recently that read, “I’m not perfect, but Jesus thinks I’m to die for”. 😁

Love your videos. Enjoy seeing what you got. I sure understand what you went through with your Mother. My Mother had alzheimers. She finally had to go to a nursing home. I would visit her often. One day she said to me I think I should know you. I said you're my Mother, she said I'm so glad I am. That was touching. It was hard for us when she couldnt remember us. But she remember my husband and her preacher until she couldnt talk

Seeking professional help for my anxiety disorder has been the best thing that’s happened to me. And if you need medication (like i do!) there’s absolutely no shame in that. Let someone give you the tools to cope with how anxiety shows up in your life- so that you can have a better quality of life!

I experienced anxiety after the sudden death of my husband. I agree about medication and haven’t taken anything. I relied on the Lord and wrote in a journal my friend gave me after Alan’s death. I still experience loneliness especially during the pandemic, but as things get back to being more normal I feel better. I try to focus on the happy memories we made during the 53 years we were married when I feel alone. My friends, family and faith have sustained me.

A little tip for you if you want…if the stems of the pumpkins are plastic, you can give them a coat of brown paint and it makes them look less plasticky. I’ve done it before an it helps ☺️. Thanks for sharing I can totally relate! I’ve had anxiety on and off throughout my life and never taken meds for it either just always dealt w it. After I had my son I don’t think I was depressed I think I had postpartum anxiety bad. I had really irrational fears that something was going to happen to him, and could only leave him with someone else for an hour max before I’d basically have a panic attack. I was always filling out the questionnaires at the pediatrician w how I thought they wanted me to answer bc I was afraid if I put how I was really feeling they’d take him away or make me take meds. It did go away after a while but the pandemic did trigger some anxiety to come back especially early on when there were so many unknowns. I also am prone to seasonal anxiety in the winter. What helps me is praying about it asking God to take the anxiety away and give me his peace and also keeping busy doing projects or cleaning.
This is all part of your UA-cam job so stop justifying why you shop for items to do your home decor. This is between you and Chris and no one else. If someone doesn't like it stop watching.
