Hunter, this is a GREAT video!! Thank you so much for putting this together. Please keep them coming. I’m in the learning process right now and trying to figure out the best methods for helping my grand son!! Thanks again!!
Im 5'9, 225, 15 yo, lineman in sophomore year. do i have a chance at playing college ball? GPA shouldn't be a problem, have a 3.75. just gotta keep it up
Thanks for the information Coach, I’m going into my 8th grade year and I’m wondering how I can figure out which high school I should attend to start on varsity as soon as possible. And how can I figure out which high school college coaches look or recruit at the most
Horrible goal. Instead of looking for the high school you’re going to start on Varsity as soon as possible, you should be looking at what high school has the most quality coaching. That’s the high school you can develop at the most as a player. Too many players want to just say they started to look cool, but not exit players are interested in actually getting better
@BlueNGold09 i agree my kid started as a freshman in high school we transfered and sophomore year had minimal playing time in varsity and starts now as a junior with a much bigger school where we have recuits there weekly
Speed is very easy to increase I went from a 4.9 to a 4.4 in 5 months it’s so easy that you can even make your own program. The way you get faster is first by just sprinting go to a field or park and run a 40 yard dash, sprinting is 1st second is pylometrics it’s basically just jumping after that theirs the weight room and when you practice these frequently every 2 days or so for 6 months straight you will get fast The biggest tips is to watch these UA-camrs but actual coaches and scientist like athlete x and the sprint project and the movement system and jusjamri they single handlely got me fast and i would never ever play in college or be successful without being fast and explosive like how they taught me
Hey man I didn’t play football this year which is my freshman year. How can I connect with my coach during the off season and train so I can make jv next year and stay on track to be on varsity eventually?
I'd assume there is a football sign up period but if not go to the coach and tell him you plan on playing next year and they should have an offseason workout program
Trying to help my son stand out more on X. Do you think having self recorded videos talking about goals and growth/failures and successes before/after each camp, game etc would be helpful? I realize 95% of coaches don't have time to watch those videos, but would having them and letting them see a bit of your character be helpful? @hntr27
As great as it would be for that stuff to matter it won’t really have any impact on recruiting. Could be a neat thing to be able to look back on and document yhe growth throughout the journey tho

Showing you can compete at camps is your best bet

Any advice for Olinemen or Centers for the recruiting process?
Pretty much the same things as skill players. Camps, sending film out, etc. For linemen lifting numbers are more important
Yo, what did you do to improve your speed? What was your slow speed, and what was your best #s
A big part of it was stretching and improving my running mechanics. Ill have a video up soon of a speed workout
