Good explanation.. what I also found to be true is the rust build up on the rotors right above the calipers.. remove those rust build up on the rotors and your problem will disappear.. let me know what you think or if this help some same some money on replacing rotors and pads...
Hi, I need some help. I have a 2006 BMW 530 I and I was driving one day and my brake pedal just stopped working like it stopped working. I had to go through stoplight and it was very scary driving home so I had my mechanics look at it, and they said it was the brake booster master cylinder so I got those repaired and I even got the rear brake pads repaired and bled the brakes, even professionally and my problems still persist my brake pedal only works maybe one out of 10 times but it mostly works when the brake pedal is low cause ever since I got the booster put in the brake pedal is tougher now but the brakes don’t work then, until the brake pedal goes down some and then the brake will work like one out of 10 timesdo you know what it could possibly be?
Can a bad bearing or caliber cause this? I got new rotors and bads but didnt change my calibers and i have no signal in rear left wheel so thats why i think its bearing now?
i have same problem, car shakes when braking, been told is brake pad and disk , have put new ones is doing the same, after someone said is arms, new ones the same, someone else said is the tracking done tracking too, i don’t know what else to do more.
Can a shudder be caused due to the problem related to ABS system (no ABS light shown on the dashboard however). For me shudder can be felt on low and high speed when driving on tarmac (asphalt) roads. When I drive on gravel roads the problem is severely less noticeable. Rotors look normal when visually inspected.
@dhmjr gloss black by a company called the wheel specialist. Ended up just buying new wheels , all the re balancing in the world didn't get rid of the problem. They were absolutely perfect before the car went in, no juddering, and then the very next day, the problem was immediately apparent

What kind of refurb did you have done on your wheels? Thank you!
