Oh my word, what a session!. Stunning fish, huge Perch, a lovely dark Chub & then that Pike - wow. The underwater footage could have come from an Attenborough documentary & the the editing to upload just absolutely amazing. Your personality on vlogs screams out for a tv series Chris - are you listening BBC!
You are a true master of your craft. Always hugely entertaining and informative, this is the closest you can get to going fishing without being on the bank.
Fella your videos have inspired me getting back on the bank,so bought all the stuff take my grandson fishing on the cheap.i love making my own imitation lures thank you fella.
Sensational underwater footage and timing, 👏 well done 👏 ✔️ superb predator angling especially in such a shallow stretch of river, lucky you had 15 lbs fluorocarbon leader on for the hungry Pike! 😀
Great session on the river Chris and fantastic camera work buddy. Fantastic chub and a lovely double figure pike along with some stunning perch. Keep those uploads coming. Tight lines 👍
Awesome video as always! Would just like to say a huge thank you to Chris and this channel, started having a go at lure fishing last Oct, I got alot of my info and setups off this channel.... I caught my first ever jack pike today, to say I was chuffed to bits is an understatement, what a feeling! Hope there's many many more to come.
Well , I think that's what they call a Red Letter day!☺ Lots of fantastic coloured Perch and a couple of 2 pound beasties too, that incredibly long 4 pound plus Chub and the bonus double figure Pike at the end. It just shows the power of using those floating bait jigs in that kind of water. And the underwater footage of the jack Pike attacks was the cherry on the cake. This is going down as one of my favourite new vids of yours , Chris. Well done mate! Let's hope the new year continues this way.☺🎣
Enjoy watch you catch fish in the U K Seeing perch that are that big blows me away Here in western Canada we are fishing for perch threw 2 feet of ice ( 60cent meters ) A big perch here would be 10 inches (25 cm ) Keep up the great videos Thanks
Some size perch compared to the ones in Dublin. Gonna try the creature baits your using keep doing what your doing Chris your smashing them😅 Tight lines ✌🏼🇮🇪🇮🇪
Belting session Chris. I am envious of the river you have close to you, the rivers near me in South Wales are nothing like that. I must admit I am going to hit the Monmouth Brecon Canal very soon. I hope to at least have something that resembles the fish that you have caught.
Chris is this video from this week? because it doesn't look like winter fishing, there seems to be a lot of green foliage were you are? anyways, the videos keep us going ,and looking forward to the spring...
Ah, I think we all enjoyed that footage of the supermarket trolley in its natural environment. I once attended a pollution incident opposite a large supermarket. It required me to deploy an oil boom but the water was a little deep. Thankfully, someone had thrown a trolley into the stream, I used it to stand on while I put the boom in then returned the trolley to the supermarket door, covered in black sludge, and weeds. They costed (in 1997 money) about 70 to 80 quid a throw and a large inner city supermarket would bank on losing about 60 trolleys a week.
skills mate. Do you ever blank? great videos btw and got myself a abu Garcia tormentor, can't wait to use it on the river and the canal that is full of jacks but got 1l5b braid, guessing this it to heavy?
Brother your Vids are GREAT! Your Perch are HUGE compared to what we have here. Do you ever catch/cook or are you allowed to there? They're one of our favorite Fish to eat for sure! That Chub was a monster as well. And what a great ending with that awesome Pike. Thanks for sharing!
In England it's almost always catch & release not catch & cook unless you are on a specific trout or salmon water. In England all waters are owned by somebody (be it a landowner, a local authority or a fishing association) & you have to abide by their rules.
Great editing of the underwater action of the lures really good video again, cheers. What percentage of perch attack the lures because it’s in its territory rather than for food do you think?
Snake head here are gr8 fun on light gear. I live in Bangkok and went to a lure fishing lake here just outside Bangkok and had some nice giant snake head a few Pacu and a couple of chawpraya catfish. hey if you are ever in Thailand let me knw.
Nice fish you're catching in some amazing waters. Perhaps one point of critic; sometimes i see more of your arms and legs than i see of the water. But, keep your videos coming 👍
Hi Chris could you or any of the other subs advise me on the best braid to get for my ultralight setup. I just bought my first UL rod (0.5-5g) and struggling to find light braid. I have a light setup (4-17g) and use 14lb Berkeley fireline. I have seen Korum do an 8lb dropshot braid but only in 100m

I farted literary a second before you said "spooked him" @ 4:20 it made me feel like I spooked the fish, great timing.
I know this is really trivial Chris, but which polarising glasses 👓 do you use ? Thanks for all your great videos, learnt so much.
Great editing of the underwater action of the lures really good video again, cheers.

You got to get some T shirts made up with "There we go!" on them :-)
Am your big fan 😍
When is the "Absolutely Crushed It!" Merch gonna be available.
Great vid👌👌
Good stuff bro
What jig are you using for these plastics?
You should totally add a 360 degree berm 👌
Nice fish you're catching in some amazing waters. Perhaps one point of critic; sometimes i see more of your arms and legs than i see of the water. But, keep your videos coming 👍
What breaking strain line did you have on the reel
Is that a pool net your using??
Hi Chris could you or any of the other subs advise me on the best braid to get for my ultralight setup. I just bought my first UL rod (0.5-5g) and struggling to find light braid. I have a light setup (4-17g) and use 14lb Berkeley fireline. I have seen Korum do an 8lb dropshot braid but only in 100m
There’s a daiwa nano-braid and a finesse braid (not sure what brand) that comes as low as like 4lb
Жги, Рыжая борода 👍☝️😀😀

With the camera,it's a bit hard to work out the length that you are casting. It's good to see your lure hitting the water.
