Sinn 103 Acrylic Matte Special Edition - An Awesome and Understated Chronograph

The Sinn 103 is a very functional timepiece. This model, with the sapphire sandwich, was also the first automatic chronograph I purchased. It was a thick watch, but this Sinn 103 acrylic/matte edition is thinner and more understated than the other Sinn 103 models. But does it do enough? Please watch this review to find out.

That's a beautiful watch. Love automatic chronos. I'd go with the Sinn over the Speedy just to be different. I'm on a 70's Valjoux chrono kick right now and seriously considering a LeJour "Pasadena" as well

i have the 103 in green. i feel this one is a lot thinner because of the slim caseback. if I should swap the display back on mine for a steel caseback i would just for the thinner wear.

Can I change the doom glass into flat glass? The thickness still annoys me a lot.

I think the extended caseback, not the acrylic crystal makes the watch appear thicker

I admit I like the look of the sapphire (display caseback) more, but I find the wearability of the acrylic so much better. To each their own though👌

That's always been my biggest gripe with the 103 and the 104 is the shinny case. Too bad it's a special edition. They should just make it a standard option.
