The plated gear might work with the worm gear if you orient it correctly. You had it placed at a 90 degree angle from where it should be, the axle for the worm should run along the edge of the plate gear, so that it's axle is perpendicular to the way you showed, and, to the axle of the plate gear.
I have confirmed the work gear will go with the plate gear it jus has to be placed on an axle at a 90 1 space below the plate axle. I also found out worm gears can be reversed driven potential for a very fast gear right off the axel can be done.
How do i unlock them? my game says i need to build a car with capacitor parts wtf does that mean? its not the yellow thing that is exactly called capacitor.

worm gear also works with gear plate, i was really hoping that worm gear worked with itself to make 2 parallel rotations

Quite possible, and that plate gear being similar to the medium gear
Flat plate = same ratio as medium gear
worm gear smaller ratio than small gear since it has two teeth according to patch notes
i can actually use the d battery engine upright without having like 50 small gears trailing to the wheels
do you have any videos on how to use the hot bar at the bottom?
No, but my (limited) understanding is you drag from the normal build menu to the bottom hot bar, but where to go from there id assume its the numbers
