AQUI & AJAZZ, Spyro Gyra, Featuring Tom Schuman On Keyboars "I Believe In You"

Not too long ago, I said that when the book of longevity on contemporary jazz has been written, this group will be at the top of the list. However I did not mention that parallel with them, most be credited the name of two it's members, saxophonist Jay Beckenstein and Keyboardist Tom Schuman, who much as his partner Jay, is one the founder members of the group and ever since it's beginnings, back in the mid 70's in Buffalo, NY. has missed a gigs or band's rehearsals.
For over 35 consecutive years, Spyro Gyra had passed through the test of time, giving us their unique fusion and infectious groove.
Without a doubt Spyro Gyra is the most successful band on today's contemporary jazz scene.
On this show, back in 1998, I had the privilege to be seating just right at the front seats, here at the legendary BET Studio 2, in Washington, DC.
