2005-2010 Odyssey Front Fender Quarter Panel Replacement Process / Steps

- I crunched my front quarter panel backing out of Walmart, not noticing the big concrete pillar beside me and crunched it... I looked all over online and couldn't find hoow it came apart. Here's my attempt at showing some of the areas it bolts on.
To get the triangular piece located by the mirror off, open the door and slide the piece toward the back of the vehicle. Don’t pry it off.
If you slide it off, it will come off without breaking anything, but the door needs to be open to slide the piece, otherwise the mirror is in the way.

That's awesome! If you want to find a panel for your Odyssey from a wrecker, car-part.com will search all the wreckers in your area, usually shows color and sometimes even pictures and prices... many will even ship at reasonable prices. I used that to get my quarter panel for $140 in the exact color for our van.
Thank you sooooooooo much! I used that parts website and I've found a few fenders of the same quality! I was calling auto body mobile repair guys and was getting $500-$700 quotes! Figured I'd see if I can do the job myself. Again, your video is really good and that parts website was also gold!

I will FINALLY be attempting to replace the passenger front fender this weekend. I've been so busy. Is there anything specific I need to look out or any hacks to help make this installation better? I've listened carefully to this video but maybe you have additional info that I can use. Anyhow, so excited to do this. Oh yeah, that white plastic bracket you were holding, the one that connects bumper and fender, mine is damaged from the hit 😕
@@redpilllense7125 My apologies for not replying earlier. Someone in the comments stated the black plastic piece comes off easier by sliding it toward the back of the vehicle with the door open.

Does anyone know what the white plastic piece that holds the bumper and fender together is called? The one you broke and had to replace? Someone hit my car and its crushed. Thanks
It's called a "bumper cover support" I just ordered a pair to fix my Odyssey
Hi Dan, I am stuck on the plastic piece between the fender and the bumper. I am not familiar with the square peg rivets and dont want to break that piece. I have the body puller tool, but how do I go about that without breaking them?
I apologize, I myself wasn't sure how it came off properly. Someone in the comments here stated how it's properly removed by sliding it toward the back of the vehicle with the door open.

Have you a replaced a rear fender on this same vehicle? My rear fender and bumper were damaged, I found a video on the rear bumper but can't find anything on rear fender.
There are no rear fenders per-se they're unibody in the rear. Welding required for that sort of thing.

The main problem is to remove the plastic thing that holds bumper with fender. Can anyone guide how to do that please?

Yes that's the plastic pillar cover, and I broke mine, but...they're plastic plugs called body fasteners. They come off with a tool that looks like an oversized flathead screwn driver with a "U" shape missing in the middle. It's called a Auto Trim Panel Removal Tool and you work it until it's around one of those plugs and then slowly pry those out.
@@DanielDeyette so....let me get this right... you use the removal tool on the inside(not the big white piece but the two white things sticking out) and just slowly pry it out from there? thanks :)

@@chouavue10 Huh, turns out it supposedly slides right off if you pull that corner piece toward the rear of the vehicle. Saves having to get new plastic body clips.
