Interesting to hear how Steve and Ricky play-up the idea and relentlessly push it along. You can see how they wrote one of the best comedies of recent times (The Office). A rare moment for a person (Karl) to have such attention from two masters at the peak of their creativity. Unknown to any of them they would soon have the resources to easily make such a film. I actually wish they did make it exactly as described (flaws included), would have been a legendary moment in time, and probably a hit film to be fair.
Rickys "brilliant" at 16:08 is the same energy, absolutely bewildered. And the guy telling the story totally misses the sarcasm and keeps plowing on like Ricky actually thinks he's struck gold lmfao
Why is everyone assuming that he predicted Black Mirror, or that they stole his ideas? Couldn't it be that the movie or serie that was asking Karl for advice WAS Black Mirror?
ahhh as if someone else picked up on that too, when i saw black mirror i was like no fucking way did charlie brooker rip off karl pilkington that's hilarious.
The Cinematic Mind this is his second Black Mirror prediction! The other was his idea that there’d be a doctor who could feel the pain of his patients. Amazing!
I genuinely think that a guy like Charlie Kaufman could make a really good movie out of Karl's concept. I think it's genuinely creative and interesting. I wish Ricky wouldn't be such a killjoy
I love how they continue to refer to the fictional person Clive Warren, even though it’s immediately established its Clive Owen
📞 “Get me Clive Warren!” is a phrase that I have never forgotten.
Charlie Brooker was the film exec in the coffee shop.
Wouldnt be surprised

15:32 The way Rick said that was packed with so much anguish and sarcasm, hilarious

Not 10 years ago, before Black Mirror was even a thing.
@@Glozboy22 of course it was. When else would it be after it was a thing?
@@Glozboy22 you do realise scripts are written years before anything is filmed.

Karl Pilkington is great at predicting stuff in the future after Black Mirror’s episode Black Museum.

He also predicted the movie where you wear a watch and it counts down your life… that movie with Justin Timberlake
they call him the movie doctor - whaddya need papa?
And black Christmas
@@jillianmusicandwellness yea the knicked his ideas
It doesn't matter how many times I hear this, I cry laughing.
this is basically the story in "behind her eyes" on Netflix
7:48 - quite a sweet, romantic sentiment from Karl...
10:03 - ... ruined by his example being of Suzanne missing him rather than him missing Suzanne
Hilarious how Karl confuses Independence Day with Deep Impact 😂
Ooh, I've always been wondering about that one. Thanks.
Heard it so many times, still laugh my head off.
That's what they do now
What is ?
That's what they do
What
THEY DO THAT
*WHAT ???*

Haven't seen the Black Mirror episode but I always saw similarities with the plot of Steve Martins "All of Me" merged with "The Man with Two Brains".
Shredded wheat 😂
He is brilliant.
He's mind works in mysterious ways.
rebecca demournay playing a character called rebecca demournay, thats far too confusing
who plays Leslie?

Karl's script was black mirror and it was popular....👏👏
"I went alonk.." i love mancs
What will i have for breakfast??
Cornflakes!!😆😆
Clive Warren lol
Karl needs to sue Yorgos Lanthimos, because this is basically the script for Poor Things
or maybe Alistair Gray should sue Karl eh ?
He’s in a coma, take his brain out 😂
Exactly, lets see Ricky and Steve come up with a movie.....well, you'd probably end up with Cemetery Junction
They wrote The Office.....
@@THICCTHICCTHICC Not a movie
And Ricky by himself came up with such masterpieces as Special Correspondents and Life on the Road
I mean Get Out has this basic concept.
Ricky you have no right to make karl an idiot. Shame on you. Hes a better person than you. I arma will get you. Believe it or not.
The worst idea for any piece of art!!! 😂
