    Great video!!! Most solid vegan cheese recipes involve cashews, which are hella expensive in my country! Also I love sunflower seeds and they are very affordable, so this recipe is great! Just wondering, could this recipe work with cornstarch instead of agar agar?

    some videos suggested 'oiling' the containers that you put the cheese in.......possibly adding turmeric powder to give it a 'cheddar' look

    That looks like a lot of agar agar...do you think it would work with half that amount? Agar agar causes problems for me...

    • @veganfuel
      @veganfuel  6 років тому +1

      You can do it without without adding any melted agar, it will be just like a cream cheese, still really delicious. But then I would recommend adding a little bit less of spices and salt cause it will be more concentrated.

      You can use lemon juice instead of ACV, and some sort of starch instead of agar. Check my mozzarella recipe for an agar free cheese 🥰
