    I’ve watched countless of videos on cloth diapering as it’s something I really want to do with my baby when he/she gets here in the spring, and this video is by the far the most helpful, insightful, straight to the point, and just all around informative. THANK YOU. I never understood the concept of inserting a cloth as opposed to having it on top of cloth diaper..so I’m thankful you showed that you CAN just place it on top. Will definitely look into the charcoal ones. Again, thank you!!

    Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I'm about to start cloth diapering and there is so much info out there. It can be overwhelming and I can see why people think cloth diapering can be a lot of work! This simplified it and make me much less terrified to start cloth diapering :) yay!

    Such a great video!! I just found out I’m pregnant and trying to figure out what kind of diapers I want to use and also why I might like certain one better than others. I love the idea of the bamboo charcoal insert on top to help with absorbency and staining.

      Congrats!!! Yes - the charcoal bamboo kept the diapers SO nice!

    Omg - I’m not using diapers anymore .... but this video had me transfixed!!!! Which is hilarious. I think home isolation has got me!!!! I’m down a you tube rabbit hole watching a video about diapers when I no longer have a baby in diapers!!! However super interesting because I never did cloth diapering - I wish I’d given it some thought now in hindsight.

    I noticed on the website that there are so many options of how many layers you want within the bamboo and the bamboo/charcoal inserts. Do you remember how many layers of the bamboo and bamboo/charcoal inserts did you purchase for each (I hope that makes sense)? Thanks!!!

    Thank you! I bought some for my son at a garage sale and I asked the seller questions.. but I also needed someone else to give me an additional explanation, hence your video. Thank you! Thumbs up

    Thanks for the informative video! Curious if you ever used any kind of ointment to prevent rash or if the charcoal inserts were proper enough , and staying on top of regular changing. Thanks!

    Oh my lord I’m impressed, we were not patient enough to do cloth diapers. Kudos to you. So glad both of our kids are out of diapers. :)

      Amber Wanner yeah I can’t say I miss changing diapers but at times miss that age for other reasons. They grow up too fast.

    Hello, I love your video! Very helpful and thoughtful for the person purchasing your stash! Can you tell us about your wipes? Did your friend use a pattern or a specific kind of fabric? Thanks!

    • @michelleleichter7288
      @michelleleichter7288 2 роки тому

      Yes, I too, came back to this video for a second time to see if I could figure out the fabric, pattern, and HOW MANY did you think was a sufficient number? I'd like to make some for my son and his wife who use these diapers. Since this is their first baby (she's 4 months old), it seems smart to use reusable wipes too. This is a great trend!

    Hello!! I want to buy cloth diapers for my baby and your video was very very helpful.
    Just a quick question:
    How many days do those 20 inserts last between washes? Or how often do you wash them? Daily? Every 2 days?
    I hope you understand my comment/question, English is not my first language

      Hi Karen! Glad to know this video was helpful. When the kids were younger, they needed changed more often so I did wash about every 3 days. As they got older, it was more like 4-5 days. Hope that helps!

    hi there, when it comes to going out, do you also put the charcoal bamboo & bamboo inserts in? how about for nighttime? how many hours could the charcoal bamboo & bamboo insert combo last?

    • @amberwanner2156
      @amberwanner2156  3 роки тому +1

      I would always do the double inserts (at home or going out). At nighttime, I stuck with disposable. Our kids were bad sleepers and I didn’t want them peeing through a diaper to wake them up! ☺️

    Hi! You said your children didn't get diaper rash. Did use a specific diaper cream or regular? Is cream needed? Thanks!

    I have so many questions, I am trying to reduce costs on buying disposable diapers.my sister ordered these alva washable diapers and I am all the way in zambia. Our cloth diapers are different so figured I would try these instead. I wanna handwash the diapers I only have 6 of these. So wanted to ask when they are wet or soiled am I supposed to wash the inserts as well as the outer or I can wash the inserts and reuse the outer? Inserts say they are made from polyester and polyamide, can I still put one on top like you said in the video? To avoid staining the diaper?

    I have liquid detergent that isn't too bad but I also plan on adding vinegar to the wash to help with build up is that ok?

    • @amberwanner2156
      @amberwanner2156  3 роки тому +1

      I think it would work (maybe just research that specific detergent to see if it says anywhere that it reacts to vinegar). I’ve never done detergent and vinegar together. I would do detergent and then (a few times) stripped the diapers using a recipe I found online.

    You said you do warm or hot but it says don’t exceed 86degree Celsius? I would prefer hot but I don’t want to wear out the diapers

    what is the product name for your charcoal inserts and white ones that you recommend?

    • @amberwanner2156
      @amberwanner2156  4 роки тому +2

      I got all of the inserts through the Alva Baby website 5 years ago. I ordered them in packs of 20. They are “charcoal bamboo” and white/regular “bamboo” inserts.

    Hi Amber how many inserts to put on cloth diaper in a day not night😕can I use only hemp?because if I put 3 inserts its make my baby bum look big😂plus my baby is a big size,she's 9kg and 9months?

    • @amberwanner2156
      @amberwanner2156  3 роки тому +1

      I used two inserts per diaper and depending on age, would use between 4-10 cloth diapers per day (or 8-20 inserts).
